I used to play on this server, the staff would not allow you to have fun unless they permitted it. If you do something slightly fun they quickly count to 3 and then they gun you down.

Fr I played this server and fun fact with how corrupt they are a super admin came arrested people for no reason and killed people and didn't even get in trouble and theres this girl that rdms but doesn't get in trouble because she's dating like the owner or something.
Another crazy one us there's another scp server with RESTESTERED PEDOS and they let them stay and they use there gmod rank to lure kids

The true anomaly that needs to be contained is the people on this server.
They are already contained inside their mother's basement, especially the admins they definitely aint getting out
So scp rp is basically area51 and your a test subject to them. the scientist bring you to certain "scp/aliens" theres ways to escape the building but its a fucking maze doing it also there are people against the corp that go and raid to kill scientist and let the prisoners/test subjects out. Its a funish game when you get the scientists attention in line by saying stupid shit like "i have sometype of penis infection please do research on my penis" or for example that haunted book instead of clicking on it just roleplay along and act like your reading the book and say something fucked up about the scientist tons of ways to mildly troll and shit talk. I use to have fun in this server and the old harrypotter rp one. And no im not a serious roleplayer that shit is for losers.
@94_pu I played this server a few times but I couldn't play it after an admin decided to spectate me and went full fun police mode, can tell they got bullied in school and being a gmod janitor is fulfilling for them, gmod is cringe now but it used to be good. Sad to see it full of degeneration and unemployment.

@@-Grizzly_ It was awesome back in the mid 2000s up to like the earliest 2010s. I don't know why no one runs darkRP like that anymore. Me and my mates in high school ran a DarkRP server back in like 2009 or so, and it was pretty much just anything goes, full chaos was allowed. Only rule was don't do things that crash the server pretty much. People still played their roles without having to have an admin hover over their shoulder and force them to follow some kind of autistic boring script to the absolute letter. The last time I tried to play was like 10 years ago and every server I tried to join was full of annoying admins who paid for their roles and wouldn't let anyone have any fun.
It was just shit like "You can't commit crimes, you're a doctor!" uhhhh malpractice is a real thing that some real doctors do in real life, janny, stfu, so what if I beat up a guy who couldn't afford to pay for my service, it's funny.
I miss the good old days.
All these RP servers are the same. You idle around for 40mins while nothing happens and then the moment something interesting starts an Admin appears to ruin it.

A Server hosting a bunch of assmad moderators and players RPing should be an SCP in of itself.
Thankfully, they are Safe class because the admins never leave their houses.
Luckily they only need the Gmod servers to stay alive in order to be contained.

@@indianaliam1 I did play it for a while. It looks bad in this video but it can be a lot of fun. Ended up leaving because of poor moderation. You do one thing that is a bit on the darker humour side of things and you get absolutely obliterated by staff or anyone in a leadership position.

Almost reminds me of the Roblox SCP RP games, same problem too but you’re not even allowed to leave the cafeteria as a D class since it’s all locked doors. It’s the same issue of everyone sitting there whilst the security just waits for someone to step over the line to light everyone up (or they do it anyway)

used to play DayZ Stalker RP server. Do not regret my time at all. A very mature community and staff was really nice, so in theory pleasant RP is possible if noone is power tripping over being an admin online guarding a few pixels

I get the weapons rule because back when I played Roblox prison roleplay servers like Prison Life, most of the servers turned into team death matches instead of an actual prison rp. It was pretty fun, I won't lie, but there were times where it got frustrating like when the prisoners and criminals would camp the police spawn room and spawn kill us.
But this is an SCP roleplay server... I get why D class would be killed for having guns, but banned?? Why give them access to guns if it's against the rules?

Scp rp servers are all the same it’s either waiting around a room for 2 hours with people with no mics or some mic spammers while some kid who somehow got a guard role shoots someone for passing a red line for 2 milliseconds

It's easy to get the guard role--It's just that all the people complaining aren't willing to put in the small amount of effort needed to get it. It's literally just a bit of reading the rules and making sure you won't shoot people you're not supposed too.

The American server is much more relaxed, also you can get a lot of warnings before getting banned, and if it’s a verbal warning it doesn’t appear to other admins
The funny thing is that most of these severs don’t even act like they want to “roleplay” and just yap commands at you

Man this is like SCP:Secret Lab without the fun. I remember there used to a be a GMOD gamemode called Breach that was just a better version of SCP:SL. Some of the best GMOD experience without the RP BS. The gamemode is pretty dead now though, sad times.
Breach mode in pretty sure is from containment breach, and this server is nothing like SL, bro just because there the same series doesn’t mean there the same genre
@@W.estonProGamer I would argue some elements of this server are similar to SCP:SL and the Breach gamemode, namely the part where the Plague doctor was going ham on everyone and Bub was killing people as the zombie. Like that stuff legit reminded me of the old Breach gamemode, and it was the part I found the most fun in this video. Unfortunately all the RP crap between ruins the vibe, but it is still there, at least for me.

It amazes me how roleplaying around with certains situations counts as a real crime, but nobody cared when Steve was threatening to stab someone's family
As a current player on this server, I can agree with basically everything Bub says here. It's ugly, and there's nothing to do for new players until you hit level 5. Even then, everyone treats you like shit until you go out of your way to show people you're perfect. Then, after that, you have to grind and claw your way up the chain of command. You can get removed from your spot just by forgetting to say in Discord that you were online for however long you were on and what you did. Another thing is the severe bias and how the highest roles on the server are a highly managed friend group who have their own private Discord. They get into it and minge under new names and get on low-level jobs just to be minges.
Note: I'm not saying EVERYONE sucks here because there are SOME actually fun and nice people on the server. Unfortunately, if you're a new player, the server forces you to grind till level 5 and then grind even more to get noticed.
Also don't get me started on the staff. (you can tell I have some feelings about this server)

I used to play on this server a lot. I found it fun and the community is rather fun to be around. Its just really slow and boring at times. The staff can sometimes feel biased and unfair but overall for me I had fun playing it.

Me and a friend used to go on these servers every once in awhile to turn on the femur breaker server wide sound effect, escape the facility as D-Class so preteen admins could start throwing a fit, and then quit the game to do it again in a couple months cause they didn’t even know how to ban anyone.

Remember playing on this server for the first time and some guy roped me into a prison escape after the doctor we were with died (after an hour of doing fuck all in the prison). Disguised us both but we got gunned down by some god sweat, nothing remotely as fun like that happened for the next two hours so I had to resort to prank calling the guards as a janitor before just leaving.

Always makes me sad when I realise all these huge SCP RP borderline pay to play servers killed off (sometimes actually stepping in to kill off) smaller actually rp oriented servers. Y'know, the ones you didn't have to wait thirty minutes or pay £10 to escape jail.

I personally find the server pretty fun cause a lot of the time people let stuff slide and don’t care if you do something against the rules. Like as a researcher I always take the candy scp and try to take items from the hole in the wall scp. And just doing SCPs is pretty fun, idk it’s just personal preference. Rust is dogshit but people enjoy it 🤷♂️
