The young people did everything right -- they're not driving drunk, but being responsible and taking an Uber home. Right on the beginning of their young lives. And struck down by a narcissistic, unfeeling killer. So heartbreaking.
I agree, these kids were not leading a high risk lifestyle 😢 so what, they had friends over at their house listening to music and probably having a drink or two there’s nothing wrong with that actually it seems like they were very responsible young adults 😢
JUST pity they forgot the most important part = to lock ALL house AND bedroom doors!!! Especially since they were intoxicated & thus more vulnerable by their alterered mental & physical states!
Pinpointing cell phones isn't possible yet. The 'pings' are from a tower that the phone is closest too at the time. There is miles between tower and phone being able to pick up whatever tower it's closest to at the time. So unfortunately tech isn't that accurate yet. Thankfully they are still able to track him through other means though.
A traffic stop, is a traffic stop. It’s not like he was dressed in black, mask, gloves, and a sheathed knife on passenger seat! LE did a tremendous job, in less than 7-wks, to boot.
Proof that internet detectives have no actual clue what they are talking about. All that time they spent incorrectly naming suspects because they saw someone give an interview with ‘weird vibes’. Glad the actual police found the guy and gathered the evidence needed to arrest him. Hope he rots in jail for the rest of his life
Ikr? They had me thinking the hoodie guy was the one, lol. It's amazing how a little information can be skewed any which way. People are now going after Dylan. Like she has to be revictimized by more heartless strangers.
They made it clear they were speculating. That's what they do. They don't have access to evidence. It's all just piecing it together with what they have. They always know they can be wrong as they aren't the actual investigators with all the facts. If they act like they aren't speculating, you're watching the wrong ones. They have been able to help investigators tho. Look at Gabby Petito. They never would have found her without internet sleuths.
And it's only going to keep getting better and better as technology keeps improving. Back in the day, using DNA to find a culprit didnt even exist. And before THAT, fingerprinting analysis didn't even exist.
To think in his idiot mind he got away with it, discarding all the evidence with gloves into his neighborhoods trash… I’m not a fan of the death penalty. But here, I wouldn’t mind.
Not every killer becomes an expert overnight. With more kills they slowly cover their tracks. Just read up on major serial killer’s first kills. Most end up sloppy but they were the lucky one to get away.
@@KhanMann66 your comment sounds… strange. Ofc if you’re a „layman“ you’d act like you stated. But if you study for a criminology PhD I think you’d already need to imply the sloppiness of the „first kill.“ If it was him, he’s a idiot future „PhD“
She was probably too scared to talk incase he came and hurt her (I would be in there situation) and then she would have drifted into sleep waiting for daylight.
I've always really hated the college life. I just want to go to class and go back home and I've never really seen the appeal in getting deeply involved in other stuff. Yet somehow, I've had a guy stalk me around campus. Thankfully he was, ultimately, benign, but it really does illustrate to me how easily these stupid obsessions can form, with no impetus from the victim. Edit: As someone so kindly pointed out my typo, I changed "impetuous" to "impetus".
Seeing their photos, so full of life, joy, excitement about their futures, for someone to come and take them away like that it turns the stomach. The cold heartlessness of it, is out of this world !
@@lynnelewis6362 yes and poor Jack kept being tossed around as a suspect simply because he used to date one of the girls.. I think it was Kaylee? For that reason alone not because he has a known history of violence that I’ve heard of at least 🤔
Hq cart yes it was a mistake but we don’t know her reasoning behind it. I imagine she must have a lot of guilt. I am very curious about her side of the story and what happened in the time between seeing the guy and calling the cops.
This whole thing is so fucking horrible and unbelievable. It hits differently than mass shootings because those tend to not be personal or targeted, generally. In this case, one person allegedly crawled into a house of college students and stabbed four of them multiple times until they died. Like…what the hell? Why? And allegedly whispering “It’s okay, I’m going to help you”? I can’t. That’s evil I’ll never be able to wrap my head around.
@@lstruggy Why did he target the other 3 but not everyone in the house. I'm shocked that he didn't go after the girl who saw him in the hallway. Also, what's the story on why she didn't call 911 when she locked herself in her room? That seems strange to me.
Yes that comment is really chilling. It had to be him saying that. How sick. He’s gonna help her!! I hope he’s gotten a good ass beaten where he’s being held that is nothing compared to what he did to these defenseless souls.
@caitlinmyriah7657 he didn't know! His dad was giving up truthful information about where his son works, where they were coming from and going to. Look at the son's face when his dad keeps giving the cop info
The roommate opened the door 3 times & on the 3rd time seen a man leaving at around 4/5 am but the cops weren’t called until 11/12 the next day? That’s crazy. Prayers for everyone involved 🙏🏾
@@travelerforever8849 a mix of that and just fear. That poor girl didn't know if the killer was still nearby. She most likely stayed in her room out of fear until she felt comfortable to come out.
Sad? It's a frigging OUTRAGE. I hope that cowardly bastard spends his whole miserable, pointless life on death row, fearing death every moment he still breathes. His parents should be prosecuted alongside him for bringing a mass murderer into the world to cause tragedy & misery. Without them, he wouldn't exist.
@@fatimarana547 Because he's a pathetic, poor and inadequate excuse for a man, who can only feel important by terrorising and stealing other people's lives from them. Bryan Kohberger was stalking these good looking, popular students on Instagram - and he was of course insanely jealous of them. They did not return his interest - why would they? He knew they'd have despised his saggy ass on sight, and had no time for him! But he was so impressed by the three women and one man, who seemed to have it all, he was desperate to create some kind of connection with them. He's such a loser, the only way he could hope to achieve a bond, was by murdering them. They will be forever remembered with love, as the fabulous young people full of promise they were, when a coward invaded their home and stabbed them to death. Their killer won't be remembered at all!
The picture of all four of them smiling, loving life... A picture so full of life is now a haunting image to look at. The minds of killers will probably never be fully understood. People say "people nowadays are just insane! Back in my day you could keep your doors open at night and not worry about anything!" When in reality, people have always been depraved and evil. Since the dawn of time. We just have the means of knowing more about that evil. I hope with time we learn what makes a killer a killer, to prevent beautiful people from losing their lives prematurely and helping mental instability that causes things like this to happen. I pray for these young adults and their families.
I'm so grateful for advances in technology allowing us to catch killers sooner rather than later. This story is sad. These young people had their whole lives ahead of them. Rest in peace. My condolences to the victim's families. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Regarding the Idaho murders, were the room mates who did not call police trying to hide something? Who in their right mind would not call police when an intruder is in their house who they admitted froze them with fear so much to hide behind a locked door that the intruder could have easily bust through? Why not call police to save themselves? Inconsistencies create suspicion. If a room mate had called, she might have been able to reduce the murders and the killer could have been quickly caught.
It’s already hard enough finding friends you can trust , these students were damn near family … the whole clip of them out together was so wholesome, Lord Knows they didn’t deserve this I wish they would have lived 😢
I’d like to know what went on during those 8 hours before cops were called…especially since a roommate saw him and in a “frozen shock” locked her door. Did she think he was a friend of a roommate? Why didn’t she call the police? I’m not accusing her of anything. Just really curious.
Yes, since we don't know everything, we will have to wait till the trial. I too want to know about those 8 or so hrs. Seems, the two roommates, would call or text one another. Then, get together & call 911. For me, I would be shocked, afraid, scared & frozen. But, between the two of them, they can call 911. Perhaps, have either girl's or both, parents there. What that one roommate went through, I'm sure her parents could be of comfort. Even call 911 themselves. As soon as it was light outside, (I'm sure the killer was long gone by then, even being shaky, having the other roommate & her parents there, calling the police, would help. This is just how I would hope I would do. But, it didn't happen to me. I pray I could be brave. But, only if the other roommate was there & especially my parents. I keep thinking, "what if," by impossible as it sounds, 1 victim was still alive. At some point, 1 was hanging on to dear life. Like I said, I'm hoping I could of done this. Go check it out, & perhaps press & hold a towel or larger, to slow down the bleeding out. With the other roommate &/or parents was on the phone. Having them to tell us what to do. CPR....
Whoa! Pulled over twice within an less than 10 minutes???? I didn’t realize it was like that. How was that not an FBI related whisper?? Damn. I thought the pull overs were hours and hours apart. That is odd.
@@TallGrass44 I think he did! He got to his parents house and clean the heck out of that car. So I watched it and I watched his face, trying to see his reaction. Haha
I find this alleged discrepancy interesting. If the first stop was at 10:41 am and this was made by a Hancock County SO, then the 1550 (3:50 pm) stop made by an Indiana State Trooper. That is correctly 5 hrs./9 min. The interesting part is that the town of Greenfield is in Hancock County Indiana. It is approximately 3.2 miles between the exit to Greenfield and the offramp to the rest stop area which is east of Greenfield on I-70. It's approximately 50> miles to the Ohio state line. That's a one-hour drive or less depending on car speed, traffic and highway work if any would of course add to that time. I'm wondering if Kohberger and his father had stopped off at the rest stop for a rest or possibly stopped off somewhere else such as for food or what have you. They stopped somewhere because it's only an hour drive out of Indiana. Hancock County is only about 20 miles wide on I-70. The only other east bound counties are Henrey and Wayne Counties before you get to Ohio. {That 4 hours may or may not be of interest in the long run} Edited to add.. Using this timeline, it would appear that the first two victims on the third floor, Kaylee G. and Madison M. were killed first and then going downstairs to the two on the second floor, Xana K. and Ethan C. (I have read the probable cause affidavit and from the roommate's account the killer was seen exiting through the kitchen sliding glass door on the second floor after the these murders.) From the timeline given here of when the suspect's car was last seen on camera in proximity to the CSL and the time it was seen on camera leaving the scene at high speed.. 4:04 am and 4:20 am respectfully. That's 16 minutes total time. I'd think it would take a minute or two for him to prepare himself, walk from the road and make entry to the residence. If he went upstairs first which I now feel he had, He'd spend approximately 5-6 minutes on the third floor and approximately 3 minutes on the second floor before exiting and driving away. I don't have proof that he'd have spent more time with the victims on the third floor but feel this is more likely considering certain acts I feel he performed. Whatever he may have done took more time here.
Just when I thought I have seen everything something comes up that shakes me to the core. 4 people stabbed to death. Just to think of this taking place is horrible. I can't even watch the shower scene from the movie Psycho and that was one person as a victim. There is so much evil in this world, pure evil.
A lot confuses me about this case. Kaylee called her ex, around 6-7 times, early morning. Then, Maddie called the ex 1-2. Then, Kaylee, 1 more time. I believe that last time was what time?? 3-4am. So, both girls were awake. Then, Kaylee? said, someone's in our house. Wasn't both girls were killed by 4 am? Something like that. How was it both girls were awake & killed at the same time. No, screams? I would of thought with all 4 killed with a knife, there would be A LOT of screaming & other noises. The neighbor guy was a cook & came home around 1:15 am. Later he said heard screaming.
Phone being turned off during the crime is some very good circumstantial evidence to add to the list of other circumstantial evidence. It really hurt him. I used Waze a few different times to see how long the 10 mile drive took, it was 20 minutes each way. If he had left his phone off it would have been a huge save on his part. I don't remember Xana saying that she heard someone say that someone was asleep. I thought the others were asleep. ?
I can’t get over this nonsense about “it sounds like crying” when FOUR people were STABBED to death. How did the roommate not hear horrific SCREAMS? That is really odd to me.
I agree..Crying here means what kind? Crying in tears or crying joy or crying scare kinda tone? As a housemate, you would be able to tell the different daily noise, normal or abnormal noise, crying tone, mormal or stressful tone.
I asked this too and was provided a sound and sort of scientific answer: the knife and position of stabbing. Assuming he knew how to use that weapon, he punctured them in the upper torso area near the lungs/diaphragm, rendering them unable to actually get air out to even scream. Only gasps and whimpering would make sense in that case, but yes, also the way that interior was set up didn’t help.
How do you know there were horrific screams? When you're stabbed in the lungs you won't be able to even let out a word. You need your lungs and expulsion of air to speak even. You're just guessing and wishing for a perfect world which doesn't exist. DM did nothing wrong. Wait for the trial for more details. Prejudice, speculation and bias won't solve anything.
What's up with the roommate? She hears voices and a thud...then sees a guy wearing a mask and is like I'll just go back to bed and wait 8hrs to call for help? SMH
This has been racking my brain about this whole case. Surely she didn’t truly sleep & was frightened the whole time the guy was coming back or maybe never left?? Maybe she was high? It’s all weird. But I do believe she is innocent.
The only way she is innocent is if she was on medication or drugs and was too embarrassed to tell the police or media because her parents would find out. There is no way a conscious person wouldn’t be freaked out
Nowhere does it say she heard the thud that was picked up on surveillance camera. And for all we know it could be a covid mask, making it much less suspicious. Some of you are blowing things way out of proportion. This isn't some Netflix special lol
@@amdl270 You don't know how much noise was normal there or how many people were in and out of that building all the time. I suspect the roommate did not put two and two together that something had happened and just went to sleep. Moscow, Idaho is not exactly a hotbed of crime.
I want to start by saying I have huge amounts of empathy for the surviving roommates. The rest of their lives will probably be haunted by this tragedy. I just find it weird how a neighbors camera was able to pick up noises from The home. How did BK allegedly kill 4 people and no one heard anything?? You would think that would cause more noise??
A reporter from some mainstream TV-channel states that she has debunked the audio/ neighboring ring-camera, but I don't believe it. There's another audio allegedly from that same camera, but that one is completely fake crap, yes - maybe she debunked that? In all accounts: the neighbor had placed a camera a month before, above her doorway, attached to an electric bulb socket, and LE has collected it as an evidence immediately after the crime detected. Noone except LE knows, what this camera has captured, except: "a dog was barking... , a loud thud... ." There might be much more, but might as well not. It truely is possible to commit such acts enough silently, if the perp is a cool-blooded and determined person, I believe - horrendous to even imagine it like this, though. But then again: to use one's own car, to leave a sheath of weapon with DNA behind, to just NOT notice a witness peeping through a door - this guy IS some kind of a masterpiece self-made of sheite.
Yes, & their neighbor was coming home late. He said, he heard a scream. But, he said he just got thought it was a party. So, he heard a scream. It, not the roommate?? Makes, no sense. The other roommate, we don't hear anything about her. So, she slept through it all? She didn't hear anything?
@@deepratt1942 That could have been music playing upstairs or a sleep sound machine playing... Who knows. They could have had music or noise going on in their room as well. Like the TV. I believe they were possibly inebriated.
As a mother of a 25 year old and a 13 year old both daughters God forbid I would never want to be in the shoes of these parents it is heartbreaking the surviving roommate it waited hours upon hours to call police definitely has something to do with that I've said it from the Geico there's just something about her that doesn't sit straight
are people dumb?? Theres no freaking way an untrained killer takes out 4 people in 7 minutes. Ethan was 6-3 and in shape. You think he didn't put up a fight. God people wake the hell up
Someone that's totally in tramatized and in shock, not to mention scared to death. Don't agree with it, , But it is a women can understand it. Remember she has to live with that, Gonna be major issues there
@Michelle Poorman listen don't get all Karen on me, it was not meant in any kind of disrespect, I have to be a gentleman and a realist. A women is not protecting herself against a male madman with a Rambo knife, please do me a favor and keep the karen crap out of this
The fact that Xana was on tiktok at that time makes it even more devastating. That’s proof that they weren’t stabbed in their sleep and were in fact awake (at least Xana and most likely Ethan)
Since the food was delivered at 4am & that's when D.M allegedly heard one of the victims say "there's someone here", maybe they just heard that delivery.
The timing of the crime is fascinating. Just a few hundred yards away two police officers busted a couple of kids drinking alcohol at around 3-3:30 am and in the bodycam you can see the home of the students the night they were killed.
That’s something I wasn’t thinking about. Maybe he saw Dylan and thought he would let her live to call for help. How else would he expect the police to know if he thought he killed everyone in the house? He either knew more people were there or he didn’t know and expected friends to be at their house at 9am
The roommates account make no sense man. It’s going to create some possible issues with reasonable doubt because they invited their friends into the home before calling. How do you hear certain things especially on third floor hearin the dog and “someones here” but dont hear the yells im sure the victims had? Unless their mouths were taped which wasnt reported. Then she says she hears xana but doesnt hear her or ethan getting killed. She opened her door not once not twice but THREE times and didnt think to check her friends out? Lastly, sees a very SUS af guy and goes into her room and just locks it then what? Falls off the face of the earth and cant call cops or call her roomies upstairs to ask if they let a guy in? Like cmon. Not blaming her but how can someone be so naive or negligent.
The one girl who says she seen a person wearing a mask and was scared enough to lock herself in her room... Why did she not call the police as soon as she is in her room and dial 911 and say help police. Maybe then the killer would have been found sooner. Instead she went asleep and did not call the police for more then 7 hours
@Murf no offense but when scared aren't you supposed to call for help???? Plus she could have at least call her roommates n see if they were ok.... come to find out they didn't call police right away cuz there were drugs in the house (dylan's people stash lots of Molly (ecstasy pills)
Those girls were highly intoxicated the two are seen stumbling attempting to walk more than likely they died fast smh such a pointless evil crime what a dam shame
This wasn't random because he drove by that home many times. Clearly he knew some of the layout of that house. He may have had a victim in mind. So he allegedly kills 4 people, yet walks past a roommate on the lower level. I don't believe that they all remained asleep, maybe still drunk, but didn't realize what was happening before it was too late.
Yeah, I agree. It's already proven some were still awake. Kaylee had tried to call Jack several times. Then, Maddie tried. Seems, it wasn't long after Kaylee's last attempt did the killing started. Kaylee seems strong. I wonder why she couldn't of put up a big fight? Maddie too? They must of been both awake. I read where a previous tenant said, you couldn't walk up the stairs, without it creeping. So, I would of thought Kaylee & Maddie would of heard that. Plus, the roommate. Is that when Kaylee or?? said, "someone's in the house"?
He left a knife sheath with his DNA on it and he had his phone on him tracking him what an idiot! And he went to a University for criminology?!?!. Wild
He should have known to leave it at home and on. Younger people simply are too attached to their phones. When he was casing the house earlier in the Summer it was pining the towers. And nowadays a lot of people have security with video. Way too risky
I have a theory I think the Bryan only intended on killing Kaylee. I say that because he went to spy on the house like 12 times before the murders and I think he was watching them to see if he could find out who’s bedroom was who’s through the windows. I think that’s how he knew his way around the house so well. And may have even looked up the house layout at some point. So then he comes to the house at 4am and walks in the sliding glass door and he leaves it open. Then proceeds to go upstairs to Kaylees bedroom. But he opens the door and just finds the dog. So he goes to the other bedroom and sees both Kaylee and Maddie leaving him no choice but to kill both. But we know that Kaylee was the target by the fact that she had significantly worse damage than anyone else. So while he kills these two girls Dylan can hear the noise and looks out her room and sees nothing. I think that Xana also heard the commotion and so she goes to the kitchen. I think she sees that the sliding glass door is wide open and so she says, “I think someone’s here” so she goes back to her room. (Phone records show that she was in the kitchen at some point) Then Dylan looks again and sees nothing. I think that Bryan heard Xana say what she said in the kitchen and so now he knows that someone else knows he’s there. So he goes downstairs and maybe sees Xana or sees the light from their bedroom so he has no choice but to go over and kill her. So he goes to kill her and sees that her boyfriend is there too! So he’s left with no choice but to kill both of them. That’s when the crying and voices happened again making Dylan look for the last time. In which she sees Bryan walk past her. I think that Bryan was on such a high adrenaline rush that he zoned out and didn’t want anything but to get out of that house asap! He came there to kill one person but at that point he was 4 killings deep. So he doesn’t see Dylan because the adrenaline is too strong and he’s too zoned out. I think that he only intended on killing Kaylee and that’s why he didn’t search the rest of the house after killing the 4. Because why would he leave 2 alive? Why would he go in there to kill just 4 people. I think he only intended on killing Kaylee and then dashing out of there. I know there’s still holes in my theory but honestly it makes the most sense to me. Let me know what you guys think!
@@ravendawnhead97 True! The new information that just came out said that Ethan was found in the door way I think. I wonder if Xana suspected someone was there so she went back to her room and told Ethan to go investigate and when he stepped out of the room thats when Bryan was right there ready to attack.
You have a vivid imagination and some of it may be right. But for people to keep saying that Kaylee was the “target” simply because her wounds were more significant is ridiculous. Maybe she just fought back harder but we have no idea what his motive or WHO his target was. I just wish people would let this case unfold and find out what happened instead of continually trying to be online detectives, jurors and judges. 🙄
Had no idea Xana and Ethan were home first. Also, I always had this gut feeling that Ethan and Xana died because they went to go check on Maddie and Kaylee. I don’t know why, I just have this visual in my head of Xana hearing and going out to check on them and Ethan following behind, maybe meeting the killer while in the process of that. I can’t understand why he didn’t target the other two. On one end I could see him saying “I just killed four people, I need to leave now and don’t want to get caught by being greedy and going for more, these people are alive right now and might have already called 911”, but also.. why leave witnesses, with how he’s so into covering his tracks? It just feels so weird. This whole case is just eerie as hell.
I heard from the experts when you killed someone, you feel bewildered and stunned. No matter how you planned it. The actual killings made him not to think properly.
Xanas food came around the time he had killed Maddie and Kaylee. So I’m thinking he saw Xana walking back to her room with the food and went after her. Ethan heard to commotion of it and went to check.
I think the surviving female room mate is either suspect as or stupid as! If you heard noises and then came face to face with an intruder wouldn’t you wait til you thought they gone, then call the cops and wake everyone up to make sure everyone was ok?? Not call the cops a ridiculous amount of time later?? Someone may still be alive if found after the grub left.
There was 2 surviving roommates, correct? Did they ever say anything about the other roommates recollection of that night? Or she sound asleep during a quadruple homicide?
Anyone else co fused about the surviving housemates behavior that night? How can you not hear four people being stabbed to death in your house while you are awake? Why would you continue to return to your room and not immediately call the cops when you hear sounds of distress and unfamiliar male voices in the house? And then you see a masked dude walking around the house and you just close your room door. None of it makes sense.
The only explanation that makes sense to me is she was super drunk or high. Early in uni, I had a few nights like that where I would be beyond dead asleep, heard something (my roommate), assumed I was just drunk, and went back to bed. On the other hand, just not being a logical thinker could explain it too. I had some super emotional friends in uni that would act like this - panic and go to bed than think about the larger picture and what they should do!
Not really but your saying that my not very ironic comment is ironic is the truly ironic irony here, I reckon. I’d love to know what you think about that
Wouldn't it be reasonable to say that the surviving roommate heard Kaylee say "someone's here" if the door dasher had just made the delivery as well? Maybe the doorbell rang. It just is in line w the timeline that we're aware of and I'm not sure why everyone jumped on to the understanding that she must've seen BK at that time. I suppose it depends on her tone when she said it, but I know I wouldn't be that nonchalant if I saw a stranger in my home at 4am.
If at 4:00 she heard someone saying “someone’s here” and the police have the suspect car at 4:04 driving into the neighborhood, it wasn’t him in the house. So he stabbed to death 4 adults in less than 20 minutes. Idk something is weird here
He was in the neighborhood at 4:04 and had to park and get to the house via the back door. The estimation is he entered at about 4:06 earliest and we know he was seen speeding out of the neighborhood at 4:20. Which means he had to leave earlier to get to the car and take off. The thud and whimpering were picked up at 4:17. That would make it about 12 minutes inside. 12 minutes is a lot of time. The problem is how accurate Dylan's timeline was. Who actually said, "somebody is here"? \ Did Dylan hear "Kaylee" talk while playing with the dog or could the killer be the one doing something with the dog as the dog was in Kaylee's old bedroom and not Maddies? The killer may have opened Kaylee's old bedroom thinking to find somebody there and only the dog? Is this what Dylan heard? We need to hear much more from Dylan and lock in where the sound was coming from as it should be obvious if above you or across the 2nd floor in Xana's bedroom. How "opened" was her door when she checked each time. Did she lock eyes with the killer?
Watching the Twitch stream, knowing what’s about to happen, is beyond heartbreaking. College students just doing what College students do, with their whole lives ahead of them. 💔💔💔💔
I wonder why there was a 911 call only at 11h58 am if there was a surviving roommate who saw a masked man around 4 h17 am and locked her door? Didn't this person called the police?
everything is tracked I work in marketing and we know when you opened it and how long before you closed it and that is a simple E-mail. Tik Tok is a Chinese company after all and they data-mine everything.
A few confusing things, why wouldn't you call the police when you seen a masked man and wait 8 hours to check roomates and why would you call 911 and say an unconscious person when clearly all 3 victims were dead by then
People tend to downplay and self sooth. They dont want to be paranoid and dont assume the worst . We are tought to not take hunches seriously and not bother other people with complaints. And this is the negative side of it, to try to act later rather than sooner
from affadavit there was nothing suggesting to her that anything bad had happened. when you live in a share house with that many people, and you've been out drinking/partying you don't tend to worry that much about noises or people in the house. a number of people who didn't live at house had code to front door, they had parties fairly often with lots of people coming and going. police had already been there several times, so you're not going to call police over something minor. all she heard was someone playing with dog, probably doordash person, probably ethan & xana talking. most obvious explanation of crying and guy saying 'its ok I'll look after you' is xana and than having conversation. affidavit mentions nothing about screams, not picked up on neighbours security camera recording either. she probably saw this guy walking out, got scared for bit so locked her door, but then thought she was over-reacting and went back to sleep. you wouldn't expect someone to have just murdered 4 people, or that someone who had just murdered 4 people would just walk out past you like nothing had happened. it was mostly likely not well lit and he was wearing black so she wouldn't have seen any blood on him. i doubt he would've been hold knife out in front of him. he was just wearing a covid facemask like we've all been wearing for last couple of years. you'd probably just think that someone else had had a friend over, maybe one of the other girls had a hookup or something. its easy to think its strange she didn't call when we know what happened, but going off details in affidavit there really isn't anything that would give her cause to be particularly alarmed. i lived in a 6 person party sharehouse when i was that age and there's no way i would've called police if i had been in that circumstance (even less if police had come to house before). we once had a party and some guy stayed in our house for nearly 2 days after the party - each of us had assumed he was friend of someone else in house. turns out he was a friend of friend of friend who'd been at party and had decided to just keep hanging out for some reason.
Are we going to keep asking this question all the way up to the trial? Ffs. We're obviously going to have to wait to hear what happened. I think blaming her or saying she's involved or calling her an idiot non stop online is just adding fuel to the fire for no reason whatsoever. We all know she waited. Now we have to wait. I do know this. The FBI would have immediately suspected anyone living with them. They don't just hand out free passes. If they cleared her I'd say they have pretty good reason. Let's wait and see
@@s.zen.4587 That's nonsense. This isn't a hunch lol. It's assuming because we don't have all the details. You can assume all you want, but until we have all the details, we have to wait. And you'd be basically saying the FBI just let her go or are in on it with her. Which is beyond unlikely
This has been asked and answered a million times so you need to do some research of your own. Experts and those who have been through traumatic experiences have answered this over and over. To STILL be questioning it is willfull ignorance at this point.

Wait, so 4AM, the surviving roommate says she hears someone say “there is someone here” and then at 4:04 am the car is still seen driving around the neighborhood. So how could he have been in the house if he was still driving out in the street?

This is one of the better reviews of the Idaho murders
Regarding the Idaho murders, were the room mates who did not call police trying to hide something? Who in their right mind would not call police when an intruder is in their house who they admitted froze them with fear so much to hide behind a locked door that the intruder could have easily bust through? Why not call police to save themselves? Inconsistencies create suspicion. If a room mate had called, she might have been able to reduce the murders and the killer could have been quickly caught.
I wonder why the roommate took so long to call police- 8 hours later?
I love these visual timelines.

CPR....

The 2nd stop is not 10 min later; it’s 5hr 9 min later.
The first stop is labeled 1041 am.
The 2nd stop is labeled as 1550 (military time) is 350 pm
The more details I hear about this story, the worse it seems to get. In terms of suffering and all that. Hard to hear.
Phone being turned off during the crime is some very good circumstantial evidence to add to the list of other circumstantial evidence. It really hurt him.
I used Waze a few different times to see how long the 10 mile drive took, it was 20 minutes each way.

I can’t get over this nonsense about “it sounds like crying” when FOUR people were STABBED to death. How did the roommate not hear horrific SCREAMS? That is really odd to me.
It was said that the house was quite large.

it sure is !! i cant wait to her what she has got to say about why in the hell she did not call 911

If a camera 50 feet away can hear it all why can’t the sleeping roommate and the awake one? Why didn’t they call 911?
She was drunk probably had no idea what was happening
The fact that Xana was on tiktok at that time makes it even more devastating. That’s proof that they weren’t stabbed in their sleep and were in fact awake (at least Xana and most likely Ethan)
Since the food was delivered at 4am & that's when D.M allegedly heard one of the victims say "there's someone here", maybe they just heard that delivery.
Don't Doordash alert ya phone when your food is almost there tho?
The timing of the crime is fascinating. Just a few hundred yards away two police officers busted a couple of kids drinking alcohol at around 3-3:30 am and in the bodycam you can see the home of the students the night they were killed.
He must have wondered what was going on when he went back later the morning and saw no activity at the scene of the crime.
Cuz she was drunk and scared, it’s a girl you know they get scared under pressure , it’s not sexist scientifically proved
@Murf no offense but when scared aren't you supposed to call for help???? Plus she could have at least call her roommates n see if they were ok.... come to find out they didn't call police right away cuz there were drugs in the house (dylan's people stash lots of Molly (ecstasy pills)
Where did you watch/read Dylan went to sleep after she saw Kohberger?

21 is soooo young, these poor students. Like how tragic.
Wild
He actually turned off his phone during the murders, but he staked them out for days and they have his cellphone tracking records near their house.
DNA knife sheath got him. No other evidence... Wow
He should have known to leave it at home and on. Younger people simply are too attached to their phones. When he was casing the house earlier in the Summer it was pining the towers. And nowadays a lot of people have security with video. Way too risky
Don’t forget he was studying criminology and not Forensics they are very different professions and college courses.

I have a theory
I think the Bryan only intended on killing Kaylee.
Totally agree
Xanas food came around this time though. She be probably was walking back to her room with her food.
Why didn’t the surviving roommate call the police right away? Why did they just shut the door and not call the police until hours later?
ABC, why did you leave out the part where he drives east of the victims and then west to their house. Not good details at all!
Maybe a dumb question, but why don’t they always back track and trace all phone activity in the area from the beginning?
There was 2 surviving roommates, correct? Did they ever say anything about the other roommates recollection of that night? Or she sound asleep during a quadruple homicide?
She was deep asleep from what it looks like since they only asked the first
Anyone else co fused about the surviving housemates behavior that night? How can you not hear four people being stabbed to death in your house while you are awake? Why would you continue to return to your room and not immediately call the cops when you hear sounds of distress and unfamiliar male voices in the house? And then you see a masked dude walking around the house and you just close your room door. None of it makes sense.
I pray they get to the bottom of that
The only explanation that makes sense to me is she was super drunk or high.

I’d love to know what you think about that
Ok, but someone is here, and then his car is still being seen driving outside???
Wouldn't it be reasonable to say that the surviving roommate heard Kaylee say "someone's here" if the door dasher had just made the delivery as well? Maybe the doorbell rang. It just is in line w the timeline that we're aware of and I'm not sure why everyone jumped on to the understanding that she must've seen BK at that time. I suppose it depends on her tone when she said it, but I know I wouldn't be that nonchalant if I saw a stranger in my home at 4am.
right or it’s a house w multiple people and maybe she had no idea because who assumes that is happening
Did Dylan hear "Kaylee" talk while playing with the dog or could the killer be the one doing something with the dog as the dog was in Kaylee's old bedroom and not Maddies? The killer may have opened Kaylee's old bedroom thinking to find somebody there and only the dog? Is this what Dylan heard? We need to hear much more from Dylan and lock in where the sound was coming from as it should be obvious if above you or across the 2nd floor in Xana's bedroom. How "opened" was her door when she checked each time. Did she lock eyes with the killer?
I think it could be done. He's attacking 3 girls who are not big people. Plus he's got all the adrenaline pumping through his body.

Why are people in america leaving their doors open so often? 🤨
She is just feet from the murders and only heard that little bit
Perhaps they should have had an alarm system. If anyone entered the house and didn't know the code, it would go off.
Bryan is innocent until proven guilty.
wait I'm confused....at roughly 4am the surviving roomate saw a man in a mask and dark clothing leaving the house and locked her door.......and then did nothing else for 8 more hours? huh? Am I missing something?

Wait, so 4AM, the surviving roommate says she hears someone say “there is someone here” and then at 4:04 am the car is still seen driving around the neighborhood. So how could he have been in the house if he was still driving out in the street?

So, she may not be telling the whole story. OR she simply was afraid of calling the Police. That if she did, the killer would come back & kill her. After all, the killer did come back around 9 am. Perhaps, it was to see if the Police was there. Because, if they were, the killer would of knew she called the Police.
So, why were there other college students in the home that weren't murdered. That question bothers me.
I understand the fact that we shouldn't blame the roomate and stuff like that... but, the problem is...normally, after noticing something wrong is occuring in your house, normally...even if you are shocked and whatever, the first reaction would be to call the police and fix the problem!
