The riffs are incredible. You can feel the longing for a loving mother and his pain in his voice. Rammstein has a lot of wonderful slow songs. Try Ohne Dich or Diamant. And comment on Till Lindemann latest album, his soloproject. Its great. I recommend Steh auf und Platz 1.

Everytime when Til cries severeral times after his mother and then the guitar starts i get goose bumbs all over my body. You also have to think of clon technology cause e.g. "In meiner Lunge steckt ein Schlauch, hab keinen Nabel auf dem Bauch" means "There's a tube in my lungs, I don't have a navel on my stomach" or "Gezeugt in Hass und ohne Samen, niemand gab mir einen Namen" - "Conceived in hate and without sperm, no one gave me a name".

For the hard "R" at the beginning I can't find a word for it at the moment, but you definitely pronounce it almost correct because in English, the "R" is formed by moving the tip of the tongue towards the roof of the mouth. In German, the "R" arises in the back of the throat and therefore it sounds so hard. The "a" is pronounced like in "master", the "s" in "st" like in "shure"and the "ei" like in "ivory 🎆🎇🎉

It's pronounced more like Rahm (simular to the animal ram) stein (just like in Frankenstein)
@@Templarofsteel88 Not knowing where you are from, I just want to say that I am a native German speaker from Austria and without going into that strange pronunciation alphabet that I can read but not write, I disagree. Ramm is a very fast syllable and rather harsh (listen to their song Rammstein, even if that song pulls the syllables apart a bit to much for emphasis). And in German the A is pronounced just like the u in rum, with the exception of some accents (I think it might be Manchester where they pronounce rum more like room...). To my chagrin I just found out that most pronunciations one can find on Google are blatantly false, IDK who would post that kind of crap...
Never go with google, 99% of the post´s are extremely bad and by the way, I'm Swedish (I have studied German for a few years in school and I'm far from fluent) Simply pointing out for people who don't know a single word in German.
