I'm driving the same W210 220 CDI and I have an issue with the car not accelerating as it should (still accelerating, but I think it can do a bit better) and the engine starts to wroom a lot and it gets pretty loud after 130 km/h or 2600-700 rpm. I'm suspecting air or turbo issue, does it make sense? Thanks!
@@annatj yes, there were 3 problems actually, blown intercooler, blown intake manifold and bad EGR. Intercooler and intake manifold were replaced, EGR software disabled.
@@muchfitter1124 damn, that sounds bad. I don't wanna know how much you paid for all of that lol. I got it checked and it was only my MAF sensor, which got replaced. Very happy that my 220 CDI is now back to normal!

Hy I've got a C220cdi w202 and it's starts after a lot of starting and after 1-2 minute idleing it dies like no more fuel inside. It has white smoke and a lot of bubbles in the fuel system before the filter from the tank already.

Try cleaning EGR, mine had the same issue, after doing so it went back to normal, looks like there was a carbon buildup on EGR valve and it blocked air flow
Hi, I have 0m613 and a problem with limp mode. I have discovered that if I unplug the maf sensor I get boost back albeit about 70% but if I plug it back in it goes into limp mode. I have replaced the maf sensor and the air temperature sensor , installed a egr shunt but still, it only works when the maf is unplugged...🤔 🤦♂️🤷♂️ Any input would be greatly appreciated 🙏
If it's the power loss problem of 3000 rpm than check the mass airflow sensor, change it if necessary. Also clean the egr valve, check the turbo and intercooler hose for cracks and clean the other sensors as in the video. Don't clean with brake cleaner, but with electrical cleaner or mass airflow sensor if you can find. If this doesn't fix the power loss problem, it could be the inlet manifold who is full of carbon build up.
Hello, first of all thanks for your video. I have a problem on my 320 cdi 2001. When I drive my car to long way, after a certain time the turbo is not working. I mean, the solenoid valve which is on the turbo is stopping the working (vacuum). When I stop and run the engine again it gets fine but after a while it gets same problem again. It is not doing it in city drive, and if it is cold outside I am not facing with this problem when I'm driving to long way. Do you think that it can do this problem because of the maf and iat sensor? @@doit_vehicles I already check the vacuum line there is no vacuum leak I already change the accelerator pedal sensor and the selenoid valve on turbo and I still could not find the problem.
I have a problem on a W203 220 CDI with black smoke even on normal acceleration 0-50 km/h, car has full power I believe, doesn't feel slow but I don't know what the cause of the black smoke is, could it be the injectors or the sensors? The injectors had the o-rings replaced a while ago and the car is throwing 0 errors on diagnostics. Additional info is that the car sometimes idles weirdly when its on operating temperature, it loses rpm for one moment and a puff of black smoke comes out but then goes to normal and does that a couple of times when standing still, not always though. Any help would be appreciated.
@@doit_vehicles After 7 months the issue has most likely been resolved. A punctured intercooler with both its hoses leading to and from the intercooler have been diagnosed. They have been replaced and so far I did not have any major black smoking. The random rpm loss is not as bad anymore and I have noticed that it only happens once the engine cooling fan is running but it is not spitting out black smoke anymore. Injectors have been checked but were found to be within spec.
Hi thank you for the explanation. I did an electric diagnose and the error that appears is problems with the main heating valve system. Could that be my problem? I try to find were this valve is in my car without results. The only think that I have done before this problem Is that I fix one pipe rear part of the engine these pipe is connected under the hood before the dashboard.

Sir my car e 270 doesnt rev upto 3000 rpm when i accelerate to full gas pedel what can be the problem . The mechanic told me to change the gear oil and transmisson filter i changed but then also i couldnt see and response. Again he told me that turbo is week and the TCM is not sending any response. Can u plz helpe out what can be the problem. The car is running quite good but when i have the gas pedel to the ground it doesnt go to that speed at a glance
Any codes ? Small chance to be a transmission problem and the turbo has nothing to do with rpms on this engine ( unless in some rare situations) Start by checking the fuel pressure with a scan tool
Usually for most Merc diesel cars, If you experience that problem, then you have air escaping. The Air flow from the turbo must be tight for the boost to take effect, if there is a leak anywhere, it wont boost and will read a code of a faulty turbo. Go through all the pipe connectors and check for any leaks or broken seals.

Does not look like it . Check the vaccum line - it has to be free of cracks and not soft enough to colapse under the vaccum.

Reading the live data will help to send the diagnose on the right direction . From what you said it could be the injectors spraying too much fuel

I've got problems with heating inside of myne w203 c220 cdi, wat can it be? The ventilation is OK but no hot air camping out.
is the car getting to the operating temperature ? how is the coolant quality ? Do a heater core flush

Checkt the turbo is ok changet the Maf sensor but still dosnt acelerete well the turbo wont open!!
