This indicates to them that you are serious about wanting to work there and will help you stand out from applicants who do not send the thank you email. 3: They could have dozens of applicants for the one position. This means it could take them weeks to make a selection. As opposed to asking them if they have made a decision, you may want to consider sending the thank you email instead. If they have decided on someone they are likely to let you know at that time. 4: Job search sites (e.g. indeed) have ratings on how good a employer is to its employees. I would find the best employers in your area and apply to them. Get 10 resumes out in the coming week. Your cover letters should be be nearly identical except for the name of the business and job title information.
I also think that just right now because it’s December people aren’t really hiring because it’s almost the new year so it’s a little bit of an awkward time!!
@@avamagdelen I normally include this but I would have needed to start a new chapter. Due to vacations, key resources are normally not available for interviews at the end of the year. I think it is one of the slowest times of the year for hiring. The May-June college graduation period may be better but there is a lot of competition, so earlier in the year would be better.
