Watching Aang grow from an immature kid to the powerful Avatar he's always been is one of the most satisfying arc in the history of media

And speaking of romance, we don’t see the first kiss of Aang and Katara. That’s another con, that I don’t like about the show.

You fail to realize that the Cartoon ALSO had plenty of Expository moments. And your example of using the “41st division” was poor because that was an example of it being used effectively. Considering that little aspect is unique to the live action.

But the OG series uses its exposition wisely and minimally, it also shows us stuff and let us come to our conclusion instead of just flat out telling us things.
Also, you can criticize someone without being condescending

I feel the girls in the live action centre around the men..... the sexism I wasn't expecting
Katara - Aang: In the live action Aang takes her to the north pole and she just follows cause she believes in him. Vs in the original, she does believe in Aang but she also grabs fate with her own hands and fights. In the original Katara helps train Aang in waterbending once she steals the water bending scroll. in the live action she is given the scroll, never helps train Aang, hell he doesn't even waterbend until the North Pole
Katara - Sokka: In the original Sokka admits he can't imagine his mother's face because he sees Katara, while in the live action he is always taking care of her.
Azula - Zuko: In the live action Ozai uses Zuko's travels to spark Azula..... in the original Ozai HATES Zuko and Azula is his favourite, and she has her own drive, she is cruel and mean. In the live action, the actor does not give off Azula vibes in the absolute slightest
