A thoughtful idea, but will pass on this particular addon. However, there are many improvements to the canopy 'package' that can/will be attributed to James Dobson even though his concept of main stream 'touring' HAS prompted a raising of the bar for user-friendly features in general. I’m laughing along with your rocky ride to the beautiful stream. My design sense says you need black rubber bands to go with the “look”! Great idea though! Let’s ride!
I have 'black' rubber bands, bungees and paracord but wanted others to pick up the slack with their own 'fixerupper'. This is a rather cheap mod (but tricky to make) in hopes that some minds will admit, "Gee, I could have had a V8!" Thanks for watching and your comment, Dick.

Pony tail bands from the Dollar Store would be stronger and last longer than rubber bands.
The design will incorporate marine grade sock cord after this initial test use of the foam form has proven useful. Thanks.
