I have done a few cultured stone projects. I started on my own house and my brickie said I was a natural. Yeah a natural all right. That first time took me about a week to complete. It was quite a bit of stone but I was working for the hardest client ever..... Wifey. But I searched around and got er done. The stone that is. You make it look so easy but I remember waking up in the middle of the night and jotting down ideas and diagrams. I really appreciate these videos and I might just get bold enough to build a new stone mailbox. After that who knows? They are going to need masons to rebuild Notre Dame 🙂
I've watched so many of your videos lol very entertaining. You do an excellent job. Gotta love when contractors actually care about their work instead of just trying to get the job done asap.
That column is beautiful. How rotten was that post you took out, even with a stand-off base. Good thing you used pressure treated wood to replace it. A metal angle clips to tie-in the top securely and a stand-off base secured to the concrete would be a good addition.
Top of the morning 🌄to you mate great video and its awesome work you are doing been building 👷♂️👍for 4o years would give you a job any day 👍😀ok good luck from lreland ok stay safe and have a great day one of the best 👌👍well done gold star 🌟
man, each and every video ive watched from your channel , the results have been no less than stellar! been binge watching your videos for the past 1.5 hours actually, first, just wanted to see some ways on laying stone veneer, then somehow, after a handful of videos watched, here i am hahaha. amazing channel you've got here man. no cutting corners. u do your customers a solid all the time. u even re-did the other customer a favor by redoing their bricks (as long as they supply the mortars) for free before u did the parging and veneer. you're a good man. more power sir!
@@1kbconstruction824 no, thank you brother. Im local as well, really hoping to utilize your expertise in the future. Cant wait to watch more of your uploads. Free tips, no money, all family hahaha. Amazing.

My grand father never spoke English .with out further ado I subscribed to your channel and as a Builder myself I’m looking forward to future videos . Take it easy and don’t worry be happy man.
Hey brother down here in Texas we wrap the post with felp paper to keep wood expansion....so if the stone is up close inside it wont bust up your columns.....Fyi.....great work.....an avid fellow Mason following ya 👍👍✌
Dude ima be honest, Ive been watching you for years its seems. Love all your work, and I hang commercial wallpaper lol. I cant wait to do some stone work of my own. Keep em coming mate!!!

Great work and great patience with owner standing over you guys. I'm a retired 6th Generation Mason and learned watching my Dad and uncle who never allowed anyone standing over them while working. It;s insulting
Are you cutting those to length the. Dressing the cut? I can see the height is pre-cut but the length I’ve just started and have been breaking with a chisel and hammer.
Very nice work but it should match the brickwork, Just doesn’t look right. Also I would of liked to see the post sitting on a metal bracket screwed down and into the post.
I have a question not related to this video but I've watched serveral or four videos and I think you can help me. I have a U Shaped patio and I can't find anyone who can figure out how to close it in. Please Help!!!

I think you are doing a great job....but my only criticism is...
I would of tried to put the wooden post directly in the center of the stone column.
