I was thinking about tinting the windshield of a new vehicle but after watching this, I'll most likely pass. I keep my vehicles for an extended period of time, 10+ years and just don't want to experience problems like this.

The tint is shrunk to fit on the windshield on the outside and then installed inside! You got the right idea

Subscribed because of Savage Geese a couple years ago. I don't think I'll ever understand the reasoning for tinting the windows you actually use (front doors and windshield). Some of these people must have never driven in northern Wisconsin or Michigan. The best headlights in the world wouldn't help if you can't tell the difference in the gradient of colors of animals crossing the road at night.
Also why would you pull the wrap from the roof of the Traverse to just replace it with the same thing? I'm local ( relatively ) from their shops and I just don't see any benefits to a dark roof unless it's for advertising for the business.
I'm old though and I understand some of this if for the owners sense of what they think look good but I guess I'm hesitant to spend money for a problem that doesn't exist.
Thanks for being a fan! Tinting blocks out UVA and UVB rays (the ones that cause skin cancer). That's one of the best reasons to get tint on all windows. It will also block our IR light, which is the heat you feel from the sun. Also, improves visibility in both daytime and nighttime driving by reducing glare. We pulled the wrap off because it was heavily oxidized and did not look good and wanted to replace it with a fresh piece of film. The benefit is purely aesthetic (it looks badass).
