Thanks for doing this episode.
I’ve watched many of Stewart Wood’s UA-cam videos over the last year and learnt a lot about the macro techniques he uses.
But this conversation took the insight to a whole different level of technical detail, especially the production aspects of operating a UA-cam channel. It’s not something I intend to do myself but I found the whole topic fascinating.
I listened to the podcast and need to watch a couple of segments where he was demonstrating his equipment.
I look forward to the weekly episodes - oops another one has been released! Time for another car journey to listen to it.
Hi @normansavigar, thank you for watching/listening and for supporting the channel. I've loved Stewart's work for a long time and it has served as inspiration for a toy photography series I shot for the Platypod UA-cam channel, which includes plenty of macro elements, focus stacking, etc. I see quite a few macro images of insects at photo competitions but nothing like Stewart's work - it really is absolutely outstanding.
You cannot look through the viewfinder while bracketing on nikon, but the z8 will fire flash at 20 fps at full resolution in raw.
Thanks for checking - I was going to look into that. :)
