Hey coach how do I be more confident against good players?When I play against players who aren’t stars on the team I dominate,but when I go against better players I cannot catch the ball.I’m able to get open but my heart starts racing,my arms and hands freeze,and I can’t concentrate on the ball.
Honestly man, you shouldn’t really think about how good they are. That doesn’t matter- what matters is doing your job. Some competition is better than others, but you should approach your routes, releases etc. the same way vs. bad players & vs. good players
It’s all in the mind.. rather you’re going up against players who are “stars” vs who aren’t. You can’t control how anyone plays. Only focus on self, nothing changes the preparation. You’re thinking of them too much. Your mind doesn’t think about the “less stars” right? That’s why you dominate them because your mind doesn’t think about… well don’t think about the other guys either that you consider “better players”

Yeah definitely! I would learn both positions though- because when you get to college you might be considered on the shorter side
