Gardens of Amsterdam | Open Tuinen Dagen 2022 | Open Garden Days 2022

In this video I visit some of the hidden gardens of Amsterdam during the Open Garden Days/Open Tuinen Dagen which took place from the 17th, 18th and 19th of June 2022. During this event, about 30 properties opened their doors up to the public, including some private properties too.
Tickets were available to purchase in advance and on the door. Interestingly the property addresses were not available until the actual event, and you had to pick up the booklet of property addresses (or passepartout as it was called) at one of four ‘starting properties.’ The booklet acted as your admission ticket into the gardens over the 3 days, but you could only visit each property once (with the exception of one museum).
I personally found this event extremely interesting and I would absolutely recommend marking this in your calendar for next year (once the dates are released)! It was amazing to discover these beautiful hidden gardens of Amsterdam; many of which are not normally open to the general public.
Please note that whilst this was a public event, I have purposely not listed the private property addresses out of respect to the owners.

Hello Daniella! The garden of the hofje I knew, but the others I didn't know. Amazing to find such beautiful, lush gardens in the middle of Amsterdam!
