this is the type of video that would greatly benefit from the "time stamp segmentation" thingy. but more build pieces is always good for more interesting builds. like the inside/outside corner roof slope does not seem to exhist for the halfpitch roof tileset. only the 45 degree roof. i Think that's a n oversight either on my part not seeing it, or the devs not including it. but it makes building complex bases hard to make roofing for. also, there's a floorpiece half, but not a one quarter. it'd be kinda neet if there was something like that I could use to make a small platform atop a roof, to place a wind or solar generator wherever I wanted.
I like the trees mod, cause it's such a pain with how the winds knock down trees mostly in your area, but never anywhere else, so it looks like I logged my home area dry, and it's like NO YOU FRICK THE STORMS! soooome how my presence makes them highly vulnerable to the winds that would have knocked them over! makes NO FUCKIN' sense! icarus would be BARREN of trees with how often storms knock trees down! and how frequnt the storms are that do so!
@@ValleriaValentine mods have a .pak format. so if you go to Jimk72 github and download the mods, you can put them in a specific mod folder. the installation process fpr the mod manager is not that hard. you can follow the instructions and start using mods right away
@@Infinity.Gaming2023 Yeah i am aware of the .pak, but Jimk's mods had different format. That is why i was confused. I am purposefuly trying to avoid the mod manager. I see no reason why every game needs a bloatware manager when all you need to do is literally put files into a folder. I will check if i find the files with .pak extension Thank you for your help!
Well made video as always
Also
Trees.
Stairs.
Crop plots?
😜
i love all of the mods! you will have to wait for episode 3 for more cool mods :D November 1st :D
@@Infinity.Gaming2023 i will just put trees everywhere. Are they storm proof?
@@calandryll3284 i think so! i play with no storm mods to make videos, so i am not sure

@@nickclark6236 thors hammer mod in episode 1
Where are the mod links? :P
EDIT: Nevermind, found out you cannot use those mods without Mod Manager.
you can access the mods on github, but its so much easier with the Icarus mod manager by Jimk72. His youtube page is in the description. :D
@@Infinity.Gaming2023 Wait, so it does work without the mod manager? Because it has really weird file format!
