I got mine mispriced! It had a price tag on the box for $199! When they scanned it at the register it came up $399 but they honored the sticker price on the box! Good store and an awesome optic! Especially for the price I payed! They even still gave me their 10% Military Discount on top of that!

Thank you for the review, excellent information, explanation and opinions. I have owned several Tango 6 scopes and have been extremely pleased with them. When you mentioned this optic having MSRP of $250, I was shocked. To your review points, the build quality, scopes and mount external markings, the mount itself equivalent to $120 mounts easily. This seems like a no brainer for a budget optic purchase.

I got a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8 power lpvo, and I wish I had stuck to the 1-6 due to eye box/eye relief/light transmission issues at the 8 power setting.
I suspect one would have to spend big bucks for a good 1-10 lpvo that does not disappoint.

I've become a pretty big fan of Sig optics. I have a Tango 6 1-6×24mm, a 5-30+56mm, and a Tango 4 4-16×44mm. The Tango 4 is more of a middle of the road optic from them but it's tracked really well and has some pretty nice glass with good coatings. I'd love to add another Sig optic to the arsenal so maybe I'll finally win something... Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!

Actually added one to a SIG Cross in .308. For out to 300 yards it is fantastic, light, and compact. Perfect for my use. The tiny details add up for sure! I do wish the markings were subdued or etched though but that would add cost. Having the Strike Eagle and Primary Arms I can say this is the one that gets the most use for me. Coming with the mount is just gravy.

I just pick one up on Friday, 8 September 2022, because of the out the box benefits. While at the counter as I was paying for it, I observed that it was assembled in China. Traditional I wouldn’t purchase anything that’s Chinese made or originating from China. Since it had Sig’s brand on it I’d figured it went through the quality control vetting process. Giving Sig the benefit of the doubt, I installed it on my rifle with excitement. After installing it according to torque specifications I inspected it and observed two potential issues that I wrote off as a cosmetic abnormality on the forward top ring section (right front / left rear). I subsequently took it to the range and was impressed on how close to zero it was at during my initial first rounds. After about thirty rounds I observed that it was failing to hold a zero and was making constant adjustments at 100 meters. I stopped to inspect the rings and position of the scope and didn’t observed anything at that time.
It wasn’t until I took my rifle off the bench and placed it on a table with better lighting. I observed cracks where I observed potential cosmetic abnormalities.
I’ve emailed Sig about this issue and will see if the store that sold me this can help. I’m not knocking Sig because I’ve never had any major issues with their products but I just feel they could have gone a different route as far as “Assembled” in China.

When the funds are there, this is easily the best sub $300 LPVO I've encountered, the only thing close in the price range is the Burris RT6, and that is $350 with no mount.

With a standard 1-6x24 LPVO in Second focal plane, how much zero shif to you typically see when shooting at closer ranges and down to CQB distances when zeroed at 100 yards? Reason im asking is im about to buy one and im going to use it as a home defense optic on my rifle as well as going out to 5-600 yards with it at times. The optic im buying has the kind of half circle with a dot in the middle and a BDC reticle below that and im curious how much difference it would make at closer ranges not being on 6x..

These were selling for $240 at europtoc about a month ago... then out of nowhere the price went up to $350 just about everywhere. If they remained at high value budget price they’d probably sell way more, but after this price increase I think there’s a lot other options on the market people are gonna gravitate towards.

@@bamxuberant Primary arms LPVO’s with free shipping and free mount with code MAC, you can get a vortex strike eagle 1-8 with a mount for 299… you can even get a decent 3x prism and a separate holosun red dot to throw on 45 mount for 350. There’s plenty of better options out there imo.

@@FightForFreedom1776 nice. I just picked up a sig 716i tread. Looking for some good glass. Vortex was my first option. Maybe the 1-6x24 Gen II viper.

@@bamxuberant congrats on the new AR brother. Do some research on your optic, look for unbiased reviews on UA-cam and whatever you pick look the optic up on gun deals… you’ll find they have the best prices and coupon codes. They don’t sell anything but they pull the best prices from every website. If you have astigmatism then an LPVO or prism optic would be best for you.

Planning on putting this on my .50cal AR build. I see the BDC is for 5.56 (correct me if I’m wrong) now I know the BDC won’t be accurate at 6x but the scope still should work and hold up to the .50 cal no? I am new to the LPVO scope/optics and this fits my price range for a scope perfectly.

I would have liked to know in that same price point what the competition is and if you would consider one of those before the Sig?

Trying to decide between this and a VIper PST gen II. It would seem the PST is a better optic but is it 300 dollars with a mount better?

would you recommend this over the Primary Arms SLX 1-6 ACSS? why would you choose one over the other?

I bought one of these in late January 2024. It was listed for $299 and I had an email offer from them that took about $20 off. I just looked now and the black one like I got is listed for $302 but there is a gray one listed for $265. I am new to the AR platform and this is my first scope but mounting it was very easy and the whole package seems very solid. Bore sighting was easy also. Now I just need to go try it out.

I’m so confused by lpvos..I took mine out to the range today, zeroed it at 4x and when I went to 8x I wasn’t even on the paper anymore…so what’s the point of them if they don’t stay zeroed at each magnification? How am I suppose to make a shot at 8x magnification and then immediately make one at 2x magnification? Any help would be appreciated

Great review! I just got one and it works exceptionally well!
Question: On the brightness settings, the light goes off halfway in between numbers.
While in the in between off position, it is unit really turned off and not draining the battery?
If it is, I could leave it at a middle setting and only have to dial a click or two either way to get the setting I want based on lighting conditions.
    That would work really well!!!

That sure looks a lot like a Geissele mount. The locking nuts are identical. I wonder if that's a standardized system for self captured nuts?
