The blossoming of Khan's political credibility began with his boycott of the 2008 elections, a decision taken because "they were being manipulated by the Bush administration", and his warning that they would be "a disaster for the people of Pakistan". Four years on and corruption scandals and the devastation of The War on Terror have given serious weight to Khan's campaign. In this dramatic interview, he expands on the need for a fundamental change in what he calls Pakistan's "client master" relationship with the US, a supposed ally that "did not trust us and actually came and killed someone on our own soil. Are we a friend, or an enemy?"

This guy has to be considered as Man of the century, even if you dont support him or dont like him, no one can take it away from him that a retired cricket team captain, started a political party and struggled for 22 years. He was attacked personally with the most disgusting allegations, every other political group joined forces against him and in 2018.. he finally achieved his goals.
1. He had challenged Ex-PM and current Convict of Adyala jail (largest prison in Pakistan) that he will throw him in jail .
2. He will become the Prime minister of Pakistan.
No where in recent history you can find a man with so much dedication and sheer willpower.
I hope that he leads this country...which really doesn't deserves him to a better Future.
You forgot the fact that he fell from a forklift and he was partially paralyzed but made an amazing recovery in 2013 thanks to his fitness and God's help.

I watched few interviews of Mr.Khan when he was very naive young man, took Australian reporter and pointed out hashish, saying it’s a pure form and requested some one to get some for reporter. Now I watch Imran Khan a much wiser & grownup man; he never hides his past and that makes him even more admirable leader. He is a good man, may Allah guide him!

Great to witness Imran Khan’s clarity of thinking and statement of intent before winning the recent national elections. Although outdated, still is relevant today. Wish JA can interview IK today and congratulte him on his current victory. Can someone please enlighten me on how JA is considered a traitor to the US when he is not their citizen. As far as I know he is an Australian journalist , reporter and truth seeker. What gives the USA the right to pursue him, order detainment or seek extradition . What has the world come to ? The so called world policeman / sheriff and thier deputy dogs calling all the shots . Where is the UN, ICC, Judicial watch and other so called humanitarian organisations to put a stop to this non sense and allow this journalist to live in a country of his choosing.

Hi Tamara. Yeah he still has the same platform. It has been a long 25 years struggle for him and he has finally succeeded. The best thing about him is that he isn't corrupt and wants to work for the poor. Yeah let's hope he stays safe.

Pakistan and US need to improve their relations with each other. US and China want to control this region. That's why US became friends with India. And that's not good for China and Russia. So China has to be friends with Pakistan. China needs to make Pakistan strong to maintain balance of power in this region. US's friendship with India and emergence of ISIS in Afghanistan makes it important for Russia to improve relation with Pakistan too. Let's hope everything works out and everyone stays safe.
