I ground off those little welds and then I pulled off the piece with the mesh, then I took a pointed scriber and scraped out the old mesh and then I didn't know how to install the new mesh. I soon caught on after watching the video.
Would have been useful showing how you reattached the back of burner, welded or soldered, as I’d assumed solder wouldn’t work as too lower melting point
In the 5th minute I see you take out two layers of insulation and then put only one and you have a lot of slack to secure. Why didn't you put two layers on?
@@kristofferh2137 thanks can't find much aboit it. Mine has the upgraded not cracked bowl. Just if I should strip it down fully to reveal the mesh. Might just reassemble and give it a try 👍

Yes i welded with mig
EBay I bought the mesh for $10 there was some coming from China for $5

Yes there is some fibre stuff in there that i didnt find anywhere to buy
