  • Did we survive our first long haul flight with our 7-months old baby?!
Our baby Felix has been on 17 flights, some with extensive delays. He's been a champion so far, but can he survive 11 hours on an airplane from LAX to Japan, with several layovers and timezone changes?!
Nobody likes being on a plane with a screaming baby, and I was definitely anxious about that! Luckily for us, the journey was completed with minimum drama. I hope this vlog encourages you to keep traveling and exploring the world after a baby, because it's totally doable!

This is valuable information for any new parent traveling around. I can’t imagine the anxiety new parents would feel traveling with a child that young, and you definitely serve as an inspiration to anyone in this situation. I look forward to continuing to witness the evolution of your channel, and the valuable life lessons your baby is learning.
Just because you’re a parent doesn’t mean you have to stop traveling!

Aw thanks so much for saying that! It's been difficult figuring out my new identity as a mom on UA-cam and it's very encouraging to read a comment like this. I appreciate it 😊

Interesting. My mother took me to Japan at the age for a month. Tokyo and Kyoto were two of the cities I went to. Now I’m 46 and I still enjoy traveling.

Everyone should get to experience Business Class on a long-haul international flight at least once. Good for you! Enjoy your trip. Cheers.😃

What's the earliest you traveled with an infant? We have a friend's wedding in Fiji when our baby will be 3 months old (so that'll be a 15 hour flight for us, split up into two flights)... not sure if that is even safe/healthy for the baby's immunity? But we really wanna go... and it would be cool to take him. I know you have a lot of videos on this, so if you can even point me to something you've created directly that would be amazing!

He was 3 months! Our pediatrician encouraged it although you should obviously check with yours. They sleep so much, it’s honestly not that hard of a time to travel with them at that age.

Jealous of babies being able to lie down and stretch out on planes, they are so small!
