Krug Expedition was founded in 2013 by a group of enthusiasts from Germany and Austria. From the very beginning, our goal was to offer our clients exclusive, custom-tailored RVs with a precisely balanced quality-to-price ratio. Self-sustained, confident, and safe world-wide travel is the foundation and guiding principle of Krug Expedition.

Office and Service Point
Our head office is situated in one of the most picturesque locations in Europe-in Austria, at the very foot of Dachstein Glacier.
It is to our Austrian office that we invite our clients for an initial project discussion. We also carry out any after-sales service here, and offer long-term truck storage in a heated garage.
It is here in Schladming where the living modules are mounted onto chassis, and your vehicle first takes shape.

The German passion for engineering goes back to the Holy Roman Empire of German Nations where they had special schools that taught mechanics and all this stuff. And when it comes to expedition mobiles the reason why the best ones are made in Germany is because camping / expeditions are very, very popular in Germany - especially when you stop working with 60+. For many of the older customers it's the point when they sell their houses / apartments and then buy such a beast, since they are so expensive.

Uuuuunglaubliches Hammerteil! Hätte nur Schiss, dass sie mich irgendwo in Südamerika weglegen und das Ding so zu seinem neuen Besitzer kommt. Muss doch ein Vermögen kosten, der Ofen!
Sagt er ja, ab 700.000 Euro, nach oben hin quasi offen... Ich muss gestehen, für solch ein Fahrzeug ein angemessener Preis. Unheimlich viel Geld, keine Frage. Aber teilweise wollen andere Hersteller für ähnlich grosse Fahrzeuge schon mehr als 1 Million Euro haben, und das finde ich dann wirklich viel zu viel, bzw. in meinen Augen passt dann irgendwann das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr. Viele Grüße!

What would be the better choice for expedition trips to Africa and Asia (e.g. Mongolia) - is that the MAN TGS 6x6 or the Mercedes Arocs 6x6 ?
Every expedition manufacturer has their own (selling) point of view regarding its off-road capabilities and reliability, so I hear mixed stories about them both… 😖

The quality looks really good and the truck could be the best truck ever, but maybe the inside design could be better. I saw more achievement space in a ducato camper than in this one and maybe the maintenance during long trip is not gonna be easy, how many thousands liters per 100 km...and not everyone have a truck license.
So really the quality is amazing, but its really big for everything!

The excellent vehicle, the very useful exterior applications, the very narrow and anti-functional interior distribution. the bathroom is spacious, it should be located in the center and the hall that converts into a bed next to the cabin of the vehicle. Imagine that you enable the room to sleep and those who are in the back bed need to use it as they pass? Also there is no privacy. that's why the beds should be at the ends and the bathroom in the center. Greetings and success,

Zum Thema durchschießen, würde mich mal interessieren ob man dort auch Aramid sprich Kevlar In den Wandaufbau einLaminieren könnte ? Bzw ob es auch schon solche Wandaufbau

Theoretisch schon....macht in ähnlicher Form Elling Yachtbau bei ihren Booten...E3, E4 und E6.....wäre natürlich eine Preisfrage.
ACS macht sowas bei G-Klassen, denke die würden dir auch jedes andere Fahrzeug panzern können Jp war mal bei denen:

Das wäre dann natürlich der ultimative Wahnsinn.. dann braucht man sich keine großen Sorgen mehr zu machen über Angreifer, Einbrecher ect. und könnte immer ruhig schlafen. Nur die Reifen wären noch eine Schwachstelle und das Führerhaus müsste auch modifiziert werden mit Fenstern und Windschutzscheibe.
