I’m sure you have, but check fuel pump and fuel injector relay(s). Also, have you replaced the infamous “green wire”? Often the cause of no start. Lastly mine had the same symptoms with a bad starter. Good luck.
Hi @OB928, Thank you for watching; I encourage you to subscribe if you haven't already. Yes, I always check the fuel pump and relay first. My 928 is an S3 32V equipped with two coils and split distributors, so it does not feature the green wire found on earlier cars. In past no-starts I've encountered with my S3, it's always been caused by a vacuum leak. Those required replacing all of the manifold bellows. This time, I'm replacing all of the vacuum lines and fittings. I hope to have everything back together by Friday - stay tuned!
Thanks for watching and commenting! Sorry, I forgot to call out the reason in this video. In my prior GrimeTime video, I showed how the throttle was sticking when I took my foot of the gas. Not dangerously so, it would stick around 1,200 RPM and force me to tap it to get it to the proper idle. The boot of the the original cable was missing and the cable at that end was starting to fray, which was the cause of the problem.
Too easy, replacing a throttle cable on a 928, simply change the entire car 😂 I've worked on these in the past, they are a pain and money pit! Good luck dude
Thats a very nice tutorial Rudy. Looking forward to restart
I think you can adjust with out running car. You want to be able to hear the tps sensor click with slight touch of pedal
Okay, great to know - I will check that!

And hear it click again when released
Might have missed it in the video, but what was the reason for replacing the cable?
