i have a comment for this... I can relate.. So i have this friend... He won't eat chicken on the bone.. He hasn't liked it since he was a kid.. He's like 9yrs older than me.. So one night i made BBQ chicken, rice and a veggie.. Him and another person had dinner.. So anyways knowing that he didn't like that i strip the chicken off the bone for him and made a plate for him... When he got here i told him just that... He told me thank u and the other person said wtf.. Your right thats how i show how i care for someone...
That's the first video of yours that I watch and I can't believe this video doesn't have more likes 'cause it was so good and easy to watch. Anyway, what I want to say is that you're video is amazing, you're so practical while talking. I don't know how to praise you anymore, but watching it was a good experience :D
I try to find something nobody else can - a book, tickets. a DVD, a collectible, a plant - not necessarily new or valuable, just unobtainable by 'normal' means (NI to the rescue). Especially if it's for a personal need or to aid some discomfort you see they are having. I totally get what you did for your mom, and have done similar. Seems to have been 100% lost in my previous relationships though - they just didn't get it and thought I was petty and/or cheap (always looking for the 'grand gesture'). Definitely out of practice, since some 10 years since I've been in a close relationship with anyone.
Yes! My boyfriend does things like insisting on bringing me water, making food, making me comfortable in general which is very sweet. He DEFINITELY pays attention to stuff I like and will surprise me with small gifts. At first, I tried to argue with him like no, I can get my own water. I’ve now learned that if he offers & insists then I need to stop arguing and let him do it. 😁
I prefer small gestures, if someone does something small for me but seems to have really thought about it that means much more than a big poorly considered act , it just seems more personal.😊
Hi Boom, yes acts of service are definitely my love language. The little things matter the most. Big things tend to be apologetic gestures, but small ones say, ' I'm thinking about you.'
Boom… I agree with you about low key connections. I also agree with you about grandiose marriage proposals. In the example you provided would show me that the person did not know me at all. That would be a NO! As an infj I do not seek attention, it just naturally happens my whole life. Do you have the same types of situations? I also agree small acts of kindness for friends, coworkers and significant others are genuine. Thank you 🤔❤🇺🇸
Yes, I agree about not seeking attention, but getting it all the same. I'm always wondering why people are looking at me, when I am literally drenched in sweat, dressed in tattered clothes, and roaming around oblivious. It's a mystery. :)
Hello, I feel safe with my entp boyfriend but we fight a lot. I´m 29, we´re together 6 years. I feel it´s just gonna be that way. Do you have any advice? I´m going to read the book how to be an adult in relationships. Hope maybe this will help. 🤷
I know what you mean. I used to fight with my ENTP boyfriend a lot too. One book that really helped me was on attachment styles. Please let me know if this helps. www.amazon.com/Attached-Science-Adult-Attachment-YouFind/dp/1585429139
I thing our ability to show love by seeing people as they truly are .....is our highest expression of love
