*A great vacuum for the price. The suction is awesome. Excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great **MyBest.Tools** on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.*
It does move in a random pattern, but it will run for just over an hour on a single charge and I have found in that time it will hit just about everywhere. I am amazed at how much stuff is in the dust bin every time it runs (4 days a week). It's by no means perfect, but for the money, it's well worth it. Not to mention, the helpful support that Shark has given me.
I notice it is not cleaning corners and under walls unlike roomba. I had roomba for 6 months while i was pregnant, it was hard to vaccum after 18months old boy. It was very helpful but my son brooke it by stepping on it. I didnt buy again coz of him. Now he is 6y thinking to buy again but shark is cheaper. I wonder is it better as well? Is there anyone with latest experience of both models?
I need to ask you a question everyone does your shark keeps going in circles and it won’t vacuum I’m trying every possible way I cleaned it I clean the sensors I did everything but it still going in circles is there any ideas anyone could help me
It does that in spot mode. It might be stuck in that mode somehow. I have had a situation where my robot ran over dog poop and shark replaced it for $25. Give them a call and I am sure they will help you.
This shows what a bunch of sissy dogs are. You got 3 and the bark and hide from it while a cat would have hopped on and took it for a ride. Got to love cats
I have roomba 980, and want to buy a second one for my first floor; roomba 980 is pricy, but what I see in this video is the shark wanders doesn’t really follow a pattern of back and forth vacuum with overlapping like cutting grass with a lawn mower. Maybe the random pattern will eventually covers all the area? Can you reply if later the random pattern was just the new unit mapping out the house? Thank you for the video
I have only tested this one, I don't have experience with the roomba carpet model. I do have the iRobot Braava (for mopping floors). My honest opinion of the shark is that it is great at being a vacuum, but I don't think its very intelligent as to where it's been exactly and the path it seems to take is very random and I do find that it goes over the same areas a few times. My carpets look clean but not sure if every square inch of the area has been cleaned by it.
Try testing in a smaller room and putting different stuff (technical term) on the floor to really test it and to see if it goes everywhere. The roomba also cleans in the same way looks very random. I think I am going with the xiaomi mi but I wanted to compare with this new one also. unlike the Roomba and apparently this one the xiaomi goes around the edge then back and forth, not as random looking. Maybe if you could look at some other test videos to get ideas on testing this one. There are no other videos out yet with real tests of this one. Thanks for the video though.
Yes, I have it scheduled to clean every night around midnight now and it has done a wonderful job. My downstairs area is about 1200 sq ft and it cleans for about 50 minutes and returns to the docking station. Run time is supposed to be an hour though.
Ryan yes but mine ran for 2 hours yesterday. Does yours clean that long. Since i upgraded its battery become a little monster, boang things out of its way
bruce e My brother has a roomba and he says it too loud compared to the shark. We have been lucky with the shark run time. Easily over an hour. I would definitely get a larger battery if shark offered it. 2 hours would be so much better
my little girls have way too many toys. The robot runs $349 and in my opinion, I think its well worth it. I have it running 4 nights a week and the dust bin is always full after it runs....even after our weekly vacuuming by the Shark full size model.
Nope to Shark. I have 2 hairy dogs. My Roomba 980 is awesome and thorough. Because you yourself don't do the work, using it everyday keeps my floors super clean. My guests always ask me how the surface feels clean stay so clean. I have a hand vac I ca touch up the corners once in a while. I too will stick with my Roomba until I see something better..

Those barking dogs are driving me nuts! I can't even finish this freakin video.
try the mute button
you get the point after like 15 seconds
Your house is already clean! What with multiple dogs and young kids, how do you do it! Looks great.
SCotty Ingram did you really think she would put her place dirty and disgusting on UA-cam for all to see lol
It sure looks like it misses a lot of the floor and goes over the same spots a number of times.

John Beck look at the 560 then, it works like the 980 just uses brushes than the new rubber tube
I bought this and do not regret it one bit!
Good review thanks.
Supra2nv has been using Roomba robots many years now. Love my helpers ^v^
4:10 lol love it
What's your opinion of this shark compared to the i-roomba (models that you have or tested)?

Did it clean your whole house or not?
Thank you for the feedback. I will try to set up a test area this weekend and see if I can get another video up that shows more and has less barking!

Slow moving vacumm. I'll stick with roomba
bruce e roombas are too loud lol

Ebelen Tafoya doesn't look like it cleans to the edge, seams to turn away
They are little wonders aren't they 😁
Man, I thought I had a lot of shit. I would make sure dogs are in their crates tho. ....how much ¿ & was it worth it?
