Dude, yalls channel has helped me in spades at the shop with ideas and processes for different jobs. Granted i had to modify a few things to some of your techniques to make what I had goin on work but overall I cant thank you enough for making vids like this for other fabricators out there like myself. Im slowly but surely building the weld shop at work from scratch to eventually be able to manufacture parts for our customers like you do. Eventually what I want to see my section of the shop do is be able to make whatever the hell the customer needs and not have to order it out of state and wait for months for the parts to show up like we and several other heavy equipment shops do now. When we are able to do that Im 100% sure those other companies will be contracting US to make parts for them as well as us taking care of our customer base. Might take 5 or 7 yrs to do that but im willing to wait and see what the fruits of my shops labor will come to bear.

What a great asset that Zayer machine is and I love the way Kurtis uses a forklift truck with such precision, just like any other tool in the workshop! Nice video, both…👏👏👏
My weekly reminder that I'm getting old and there's a reason guys in the mid-to late 50's or older don't do that kind of laborious work anymore. Hey folks I missed seeing you last week. A slide hammer for moving pins. In my world if I had thought that every pin on every machine would be set up that way. I would have been in heaven, LOL. Airarc is the necessary evil of every welding shop. They can eat up a pair of coveralls in no time. Nomex is an option but kind of pricey eh. 5 Vertex vices. Those cost a pretty penny. What a blessing having that long mill now. Great move getting it for your business
My favorited part of the video was the disassemble and reassemble of the blade from grader. Nice to see the manufacturers have designed in a reasonable amount of working space. I also liked squaring up the slide rail. Plus feeding of the birds as well as the Gourmet uber eats. As well as the wielding.
I know it might seem normal to you guys. But it blows my mind the jobs Kurtis takes on. I’ll bet my bottom dollar that your customers don’t take you for granted.

I have a steel ruler I bought years ago and always thought how cheaply made it was because it is so flexible and bendy, Now I see why at 7:52 in this video, thanks Curtis
Craftsmanship and work ethic are bar none some of the best Ive seen as a 20 year welder. But my favorite is the end seeing the outtakes with your wife! EPIC!

I know a lot of people have already said it but if you watch any other machining videos you will really appreciate how well edited theses are. Kudos Karen. Maybe you'll take the current stigma off the name all by yourself!
Just tuned in, haven't seen the video yet (But I already know it's amazing).... just wanted to quickly say "Welcome Back" and you all were missed during your very well earned time off.... Happy Holiday season to you guys down under. I hope it's full of blessings, new tools and fun toys for Homeless.. and thanks for all the smiles an laughter for us!! Cheers!
Having to open the cabinet door to let the table travel all the way made me chuckle but it's seriously the sort of thing that happens in machine shops. No worries about not showing much of the skin adding process. There was plenty of that in a previous video. It was also a good reminder. For us this is entertainment and maybe some education for those in the field. For the owner of that machine, it's their their livelihood on the line.
Hi, Curtis, it is unbelievable that you know so many tools and lathes and mills and use them skillfully. You are a professional maintenance technician. On the weekend morning, after breakfast, I see you professionally and meticulously completing each customer's repair work, saving them a lot of money. This makes me feel very happy. Thank you, and thank you Karen for the filming and editing. Best wishes to you.
Your vids have it all! Skill, precision, hard work and a good laugh at the end. Not to mention good ole wholesome Homeless and top notch videograghy holding it all together. Always a pleasure to watch.
Well that was awesome as usual! Missed y’all last week but this one more than made up for it. Loved watching Kurtis use that big blue milling machine. Great video Karen!
I really enjoy watching your channel. I was a diesel and plant fitter for 50 yrs, now i can watch you do it without having to bust a valve. I get a strange job satisfaction when i see you turn out such precision work. Thanks Kurtis and Karen.
Out takes, just brilliant. Stuff ups can and are edited out. Nice to see the edits. So we're not all perfect all the time, just sometimes. Most times we just meet the grade. Great video. Karen you make me knock off early Friday nights.
CEE is the best channel on YT! best in everyway, i was holding my breath till you came back.. thanks i have reduced watching other channels that only put out content every other 3 weeks or channels with a big room filled with brand new $$$$$ machines and granite tables with little interesting comment coming forth. keep up the good work, thanks again and Merry Christmas!!
Nicely done, that Biz 80 steel doesn't like machining, but it is ideal for the guide bar. Good start to Friday, been awake since 2:30, CEE post came through at 7:00. The use of Coppertec /Copperease really does make life easier if you have to remove bolts, nuts, pins, etc. It reduces the possibility of the fastener seizing up, which when you are adjusting gearbox backlash in the rain and wind, it is a most welcome product. Thank you Kurtis, Karen and Homey, take care and be well 👍
Wow! Somehow I never realized how big that Zayer mill is! What a monster. We really enjoyed all of the details of the work on that blade. Grateful for another excellent video. Thanks from Bruce, Karin, Halgrim and Bella with special greetings to Homeless! ❤ Wishing you three a pleasant and peaceful weekend.

*Cutting Edge Engineering Australia* Bravo well done as always, a pleasure to see you both, thank-you for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
Another great job. It's a pleasure watching Kurtis jump onto whatever machinery and operate it. And hats off to Karen for the excellent video production and including the outtakes where Curtis can allow his grumpy old tradesman to vent a bit, not that he's old or even really grumpy. He can laugh at himself after getting peed off.
10:06 I envy your skill with that torch; I can't imagine how many hours of use it has taken to get that good. I also had to remember the only reason you were using a torch instead of a plasma cutter was probably because of the "Tax" on electrical equipment in the form of "Safety Inspections". For those that don't know, Australia requires testing and tagging electrical equipment and the numbers I did find(South Australia instead of Queensland) for the cost, put it between two and three thousand dollars per piece of equipment. Kurtis mentions those inspections as one of the reasons he uses so many Air Tools in his Q&A from December, 20222.
This was millidiameters (hey at least it's not bananas) from being the best blooper reel to date. And Karen has to listen to it twice. That was priceless and something we, the viewers, thank you both for. Again the highlight of me weekend, You guys rock. Cheers EDIT: Should have watched to the end before commenting... That "give me back my socket!" was so relatable.
Y’know? I have watched every video there is of CEE, a few times in fact, but I always find it refreshing to come back and watch ‘em all again! It’s quality viewing every single episode, such an education and always fascinating! Thanks to Kurtis and to Karen for producing such excellent content, and to Homey for his entertaining performances! Thanks to all at CEE I have exceeded quality videos to watch as many times as I want to. Mark from Scotland 👍😀😎

Enjoyed seeing Kurtis WORK that BIG BLUE MILL!! I missed you last week.. glad everything is well!!! Love seeing the grader blade repairs went well. The birds were watching over you all!! Lord watches over the birds, he sees what they see!! The ONE LEADER SAID, everything here is good.. let's go!! They came back to keep the gremlins away from the equipment!!! Thank You Kurtis & Karen for a outstanding video.
I'd be interested to know some of your history. How the heck did you get into this line of work? It amazes me that you know how these machines come apart.
I'm retired heavy equipment mechanic for forty years I just love seeing new way to do things no wire feed everything was stick including hard facing work Smart not hard so you can injoy your retirement happy holidays to you and the family. Rick
Love that little Zayer mill; great entry level machine for the backyard hobbyist! My cat was raised by a couple of German Shepherds from 4 weeks, so when he sees Homey, he hops up on my lap and gives it has his complete attention. His name is D8, of course and he also pays close attention the birds and the MIG welding. He doesn't like Case or John Deere machinery that much and wanders off after a bit when he sees them. Just because they're yellow, he isn't fooled.
Mate, I feel for you having the gear on welding in this heat (I'm just up the road), had a couple of days welding out in the sun this week and it's taken its toll on me.
My busy season is coming to and end and to be honest this is the first video i have watched in nearly 9 months. Clearly i have much to catch up on. That Zayer is a really cool and handy machine! Not sure when you got that but it was well worth it! Great job on the repair! Great job on filming and editing. Keep up the great work you too!! Cheers from Wisconsin!

Kuris and Karen's videos are always a pleasure to watch and learn. You both have your talents and professions dialed in to perfection
I know a lot of people have already said it but if you watch any other machining videos you will really appreciate how well edited theses are. Kudos Karen. Maybe you'll take the current stigma off the name all by yourself!
These is just something relaxing watching a Shell Mill work.
Hey mate - glad you are enjoying them! We appreciate your super thanks contribution and your support mate Cheers! - Kurtis & Karen
Isaac would be proud with the surgical precision of the cutting torch. Great videos!! Keep em coming. 👍👍
Thank you for sticking with it and making these videos Curtis. I love watching the big boys play with the big toys.🙂
Cheers!
thanks so much for the kind words and support we really appreciate it!
Great work you do Kurtis
Recently just bought a big welder because of all these channels that use the arc gougers!
That is awesome!
First of all welcome back and congrats on achieving 700k subs. I cannot seriously fathom why you not have over a million subs.
thank you very much!
Again one of your signature free hand straight long cut with the torch. This beauty is a joy to watch!
Great content and filming as usual. Love seeing the blue beastie earning its keep, its becoming an integral part on the arsenal and a big time saver.
I really enjoy watching your channel. I was a diesel and plant fitter for 50 yrs, now i can watch you do it without having to bust a valve. I get a strange job satisfaction when i see you turn out such precision work. Thanks Kurtis and Karen.
Was hoping for crane updates but this is good enough!!!! Thank u for ur dedication to share with us
Out takes, just brilliant.
Luckily for us this was fairly straight forward to watch and the usual excellent video editing made it even easier. We love all the animals!!!
My 86 year old father was a machinest all of his adult life. He really enjoys watching your videos. Thanks for putting them out there. I enjoy watching too
*Cutting Edge Engineering Australia* Bravo well done as always, a pleasure to see you both, thank-you for taking the time to bring us along.
I love the intros when he drives something in or drives in with something on the forklift. It's genius.
Random American who was able to Uber eats perfectly for lunch time in Australia must’ve stayed up extra late to get that done, props to that person
You can schedule!
You guys could win comedy couple of the year! Reminds of of me and the Mrs. Great fun guys. Thanks, and see you next week. Cheers.
This was millidiameters (hey at least it's not bananas) from being the best blooper reel to date. And Karen has to listen to it twice. That was priceless and something we, the viewers, thank you both for. Again the highlight of me weekend, You guys rock. Cheers
EDIT: Should have watched to the end before commenting... That "give me back my socket!" was so relatable.
I love the socket part too
Thank you for including bloopers - they really help bring this work back into reality. Makes it very relatable!
Nice oblique/off centre milling, smoother and better for noise. Zayer mill is a great addition to the shop 👌 .
Great job both, thanks for sharing.
Curtis and Karen,
You guys should be very Proud of everything that you two do.
Karen your editing is beyond perfect and your camera skills are on point to say the least.
Curtis your skills with everything you do is incredible to say the least it is always an extreme pleasure to watch your videos.
Thanks for your professionalism!!
The outtakes are so awesome!! I'm waiting for the one where the wrench gets chucked across the shop and bounces off a wall!
Once again, as always, Top Notch work Kurtis!
Nothing like waking up and seeing a new video from CEE while drinking coffee. Cheers from San Antonio, Texas!
Karen, with the sick burn in the outtakes, what a savage!
Props to this customer for doing preventative maintenance. I wish more industrial equipment operators had that mentality.
And you make it all seem simple! You’re the man.
I'd be interested to know some of your history. How the heck did you get into this line of work?
It amazes me that you know how these machines come apart.
hey mate you might like to check out this video 😄 ua-cam.com/video/bkdffOY1y0M/v-deo.htmlsi=Uq87vHKrl7ll9_BG
Life is butt a dream when you have right equipment, another outstanding video 👏✌️👊
I'm retired heavy equipment mechanic for forty years I just love seeing new way to do things no wire feed everything was stick including hard facing work
Smart not hard so you can injoy your retirement happy holidays to you and the family. Rick
Using the stick shows the importance of air fed visors for sure
Karen said the same thing, air respirator definitely a must!
I was lost last Friday it knocked my routine all shapes 😂 glad to see you back! Much love from Wales 🏴🏴
Never underestimate the importance of the safety stump. 😊
Hey mate yeah that'll take it out of you for sure, grateful to have a shed and some shade to weld in during our summers!
Karen,, You are an absolute delight!! 😂😂😂 Cheers from Florida ❤❤
Hey mate! Hope you enjoy some down time and relaxation for a while. Cheers 👍
