This is my remake of Resonance by HOME. All credits goes to Randy Goffe, who has written this masterpiece, definitely one of my favorite tracks of all time.

Hi, I'm Prophylaxis, and thank you for listening to my remake of Resonance. As always, all credits go to the artist HOME.
IMPORTANT: I'm writing this to warn others in the future. I've been an independent artist, producer, and composer since 2017 until now. It turns out that six songs I composed and produced were stolen, and the person responsible uploaded them to UA-cam, Apple Music, Soundcloud, and somehow even to Spotify, claiming them as their own. They have also been featured on other UA-cam channels. The "artist" responsible goes by the name A.T.A.R.I (as of 04/30/2023).
I have all the evidence in the world that I created those tracks. I have my own original UA-cam channel with the original upload dates, and he has no evidence to prove otherwise. I have all my projects saved and ready to use as evidence, including all my compositions. This person has no right or permission to use my tracks and is still making money off them.
I have already contacted my music distributor, and they are investigating A.T.A.R.I with all the evidence I provided. The DMCA file is being processed at the moment, and it's just a matter of time. However, I still want to warn other music producers that this person is a thief. He will likely do this again in the future with other people, and he constantly changes his artist name. Previously, he went by the name "ALASTRA".
Please be aware that the tracks he stole were uploaded in mono, which is a poor move if you ask me. All of my tracks are uploaded in stereo, another way to try and modify the original signal I made in order to steal and make money with them.
I kindly encourage you to report this guy in every way, shape or form if possible. You don't know how big help will be if you just report him. Thank you so much for reading this.

Yes :), there's a lot of differences. Though it was one of my first remakes, there are some inconsistencies regarding tonal balance and the mixing in general, could have been a lot better.

Thank you! Personally I feel the mix is flat, could have been better. It's missing some dynamics like the original. Other guy pointed out about the sustain of some synths were too high and I agree. This is more like an 80's version of Resonance haha

This reminds me of the first version of HOME - Resonance
First version of resonance was pretty nice, some people thinks it fits more in Odyssey because of the tonal balance. All tracks except Resonance has this non-chill character to the sound!

slight critique, i would reccommend making the lfo you use to lower the sustain on the chords also make the low pass filter narrow/lower, but have it otherwise relatively wide. but not as wide as it is in this, the trebles/highs are a little bit too loud on it
Thank you very much for your words. Yes, this track has several inconsistencies regarding tonal balance, but I already covered those issues in a new project I made 2 months ago. The main synth is too wide yes, and it's a little bit harsh. Also the main chords need to be less aggressive with the sustain in some parts as you mentioned, as well as the highs on the chords need to be lowered.
sometimes those mistakes are what make it special

Depends. How much do you know about music production?
You could recreate the entire song in FL Studio by just possessing the MIDI files to the chords, arpeggios etc.
Learning Syrum is a great start to sound design! There's a lot of sound remakes out there using Syrum. Not sure what the creator used though.
@@BasilFAmer Serum is decent. I never liked the sound it outputted though, I don't know. Something about the VST makes it feel cheap for me. I prefer the Arturia Collection, mostly MINI V
