It all they are anymore the pandemic kinda ruined the channel it went from heavy actual testing to just reading the script the designers sent them and sometimes it's obvious they never even touched the product like the overpriced and underperforming flashlight from this 1
Something I discovered today that Pack Hacker should definitely look into is that the brand Kavu makes a packing cube that doubles as a small backpack. So you pack it with clothes in your suitcase or travel backpack and then use it as a daypack or purse when you arrive.
Yay! You showed my REI travel backpack (though mine is orange and bigger for one-bag flying). I travel a lot for work and fun. I love it for all. Love your videos, too. I’m a loyal watcher. ❤
Love Tom’s videos. What is the exact jacket he is wearing in this video? I’ve been looking for a light weight option. Appreciate your help! Thanks for all of the great suggestions.
One of the most important things to pack, for me. Having a dedicated light always available, always charged, nice and bright, and is easily accessed is really useful. If I’m staying away from home I generally take more than one, with the second/third being a small amber LED lantern - it makes for a much more pleasant ambient room lighting in the evening when I’m away from home & my smart lights, and makes for an easy on the eyes light to use during the night, too. The phone light is a nice backup, but doesn’t really replace either of these uses.
Nitecore NB20000 has been the worst battery bank that I have ever had. Mine is now spicy pillow so it's probably dangerous to use and nitecore doesn't care becose it's out of warranty.
@@anthonyng8800 My NB20000 is about twice as thick now what it was when I bought it and one of those carbonfiber sides just popped off... Since new it has randomly charged from USB-C ports and randomly output has worked from them too...
This video has made me unsubscribe from Pack Hacker. It’s just all ad and next to no testing or in-depth comments. This channel for a while has felt like an ad platform rather than the go-to place for travel recommendations it once was. I’m very disappointed in PH.
Yeah I miss the in depth testing and when they were mildly impartial now they mostly just plug pocket litter and overpriced underperforming options (I'll be right behind you in leaving if they don't change back soon)
Dude ... my wallet, phone, and keys stay on my person in my front pants pockets. My Dad is retired DoD. I learned this from him. Why would I put them in my bag for edc? I'm Andrew.
Could you imagine using a flash light to read a menu at a gloomy restaurant. That’s a real niche problem. Plus with the advent of smart phones. It would be more acceptable to use your phones flashlight 🔦
For folks with aging eyes or low vision, low lighting in restaurants is a super common problem. It'd be nice to have better options than a bulky phone flashlight.

That's a lot of their videos
@@ShugoAWaylmao they literally have a separate channel where they test things. I get not liking the channel but just lying is dumb
@Urbanjeffery really? never seen it, never heard anything about it. Was this something new during pandemic?

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.
Would love to see a video on edc backpacks that stand up on their own. The most important feature in my opinion.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.
This channel always nails the thumbnails. It's like a clickbait without the bait 🔥
😂😂😂
Following all must have everyday carry essential videos I now carry a 50l backpack for commuting, filled to the brim with items.

I love my REI bag, too. It seems bottomless honestly!
Don’t buy this flashlight. Not worth a third of the price. Buy Acebeam Pokelite, Skilhunt, Sofirn, Wurkkos instead.
Unrated comment 🔥🔥🔥
I prefer my olite i3t eos

Requesting a review of The Everywhere Zip Backpack. Reminds me a lot of Troubadour.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.
Pack hackers obsession with flashlights is so funny. I never need one on my trips. I have to tag on your trips to see when u r using it. 😄
Yeah, you always have your smartphone with flash
Our collective obsession with packs could be seen as funny too lol
i use mine all the time. been in many situations where ive had to navigate a dark hostel ive stumbled into or to look for misplaced items. so useful!
@@youraveragepasser-by7367but couldn’t u have used ur phone for that as well? Unless ur phone was the thing u were looking for lol

@PackHacker It's possible to have an alternative to getaway Pack Light Hat 2.0 Ultrasuede?
I just wanted to know what that tiny camera was in the thumbnail....
The square with the keychain is a speaker
Please consider including metric measurements. Greetings from the rest of the world.
Alkaline batteries are fine if they don’t sit for years, you should be replacing often enough if you actually use the damn thing
The Long Weekend pouches are looking like Topo Designs knock offs🤢
Yep
Come on dawg ain't no way I'm leaning to the bottle to take a zesty suck like that! 1:37
What is that speaker in the nitecore clip??
It’s in the thumbnail too. I looked it up - MUZEN Wild Go speaker.
nice vid!
Thanks for watching! 😃

Not everyone wears clothing with sufficient pocket space at all times. Women's clothing in particular is rarely designed with useful pockets.
@@arw1013I get that. But I’m speaking for myself. And I’m a guy.
