Hey Arun. Great quality video as always. Just a little gripe. I personally think the G8 deserves a bit more credit for the tech that LG didn't advertise, e.g. the time of flight sensor make a much more secure face unlock, and the quad dac and amp. Keep up the great work.
I don't think it's technically being sold at this time, at least our continent, I also wouldn't count on the 5g side for quite sometime outside of some areas in major cite's. I do know it 5g is available in midtown Manhattan and some other major cities. But still it's a truly remarkable phone and expensive.

Doesn't matter. The Xperia 1 isn't even released yet. From having the phone for some minutes in his hands he already makes assumptions and recommends people not to buy it without having a proper review of it. Not good. He includes the Xperia 1 to bash it without even getting a released model to review. All other phones on this list have been released. Xperia 1 still not yet released.
Sony phones have dropped so much. I used to root for them so much in 2013 but after releasing the same phone year after year, i dont think they can recover
Even when phones had big bezels, Sony phones had even bigger bezels. But it was alright then. Now that other phone companies are trying to get rid of bezels, Sony will put out a phone still with bezels. Really ugly phones so I stopped being a fan!

1. It's about 30% less powerful than the S10 Plus 2. Its far bulkier 3. It's less efficient due to the 10nm Chip, so weaker battery life 4. It's got chunky bezels on the top and bottom 5. It's Camera system is a fair bit behind 6. No ultrasonic scanner 7. Much weaker front camera setup vs S10 Plus I'm not saying it's a bad phone, but I am saying that for most people, the S10 Plus just makes more sense, even if it does cost more.
@@Mrwhosetheboss It has an Iris Scanner and actual fingerprint sensor, which is far more secure than the S10's face unlock. And the rear camera is not "a fair bit behind", or whatever that means. Also, "far bulkier"? Yeah, that's what Note phones are known for. Taller, larger batteries (in this case compared to the S10e/S10), Wacom stylus support. So I'm not really sure how you're able to make such a comparison when the devices are intended for different users. While you make valid points, like about the CPU being less efficient, a lot of your list is just "the S10+ is newer, so it's better across the board". For example, some people prefer some bezel (which, by the way they are as small as it gets) over a hole/pill in the display.
LG G8: - Headphone Jack - DAC with best in class audio performance - Expandable Storage up to 2TB It might not be the perfect phone, but I thought it deserved a lot better than it got.
I wouldn't put it in the top list just because lg costumer service SUCKS and they genuinely take ages to bring Android updates to their phones. I'm typing this from a G7 thinq that still don't get the forking Pie update.

I agreed with everything, except the P30! Used Mate 20 Pro 20X P30 P30 Pro Sold all but P30, because it's lighter, flat screen, camera performance is almost the same (and even better low light performance than Mate 20 Pro and X), still got headphone jack. One of my favorite phone ever.

The battery is good too, it can go through a day without struggle (but I didn't play it all day though). Screen is superb, feels just a bit below my iPhone X quality. It's a complete package for me, except lacks of wireless charging (not a deal breaker anyway, I still charge many things with cables). Underscreen fingerprint scanner is faster than Mate 20 Pro, and as fast as my 1+6T. Telephoto never been my thing so 3X optical zoom for me is more than enough. But I'm more happy with the super wide camera which is the same with the Pro one. And the main camera even with a stop slower (f/1.6 -> f/1.8) from Pro, still shoots really great photos. And you can use Night Mode if you want more lights. OH! and macro shooting is super awesome! That's it!

I had a S7 that I a absolutely LOVED loved loved. Was in near cosmetic condition no issues... It endured a bad fall, screen and backside glass got badly cracked . I still used it but the battery went bad and zi downgraded to a "free phone" for getting new service. LGK20. I love that it has a lot of expandable storage but it can't keep up with me at 2gigs for some reason. So my mom gave me a s5 that my sister had given her. Turns out the service provider 2e use isn't compatible. I can change to a better service provider but I started to not like it. There were features on it like no manuel mode setting for the camera ,camera is super slow so when it finally snaps the pic Im not getting the shot I wanted. It seems to run slow and compatible to myLgk20. Never had an issue with my S7 before it got damaged. Now looking into upgrading to a S10e. I am hoping it wil lbs worth going from 2gig ram to 6gig (If I can't get the 8gig one).

Honestly, if the S9+ had an equally good battery than the Note 9 which I currently own, I would have bought the S9+ instead, because I prefer a smaller screen and a lighter phone. Too bad the battery sucked, so I just went ahead and gotten the Note 9 instead

Honestly, if the S9+ had an equally good battery than the Note 9 which I currently own, I would have bought the S9+ instead, because I prefer a smaller screen and a lighter phone. Too bad the battery sucked, so I just went ahead and gotten the Note 9 instead

It's not just that only but also I would not fork out that much on a phone even if I can afford it. Anything over £300 for a phone is just not worth it. They all do the same thing.
