I've worked in bars and restaurants my whole life so I'm driving regularly at 2 or 3 in the morning. I've been followed probably ten or so times. I can usually lose them by taking streets faster than they knew how to and make them back off or go off the road. One was so bad I called 911 after being chased for about ten minutes and they had me drive to a police station and lay on my horn. The guys blew by me and got into a high speed chase. They got arrested for attempted armed robbery, evading, and unlicensed firearms. Made me get my concealed carry. The cops at that station actually recommended me to get it. It's a crazy world out there.

I been robbed in New Orleans at gun point. Kept saying roll window down, so I put a crack, and he stuck a small snub nose into my car. It happens quick. I got away with my car and money thank God

What happened to me in Amarillo, Texas. I had gotten my Yamaha MT-03 April 01 this year. I rode it from Kileen, Texas to my hometown. I live roughly an hour from Amarillo. I took my brand new bike to Amarillo to show it to my mother cause she wanted to see it. This is April 03. I am minding my business, just got Amarillo Boulevard. As soon as I turned onto the Boulevard, this guy in a black Chevy Suburban slows down in front of me. I went to go left around him and he got in my way. So, I went to go right around him and he got in my way again. I saw his buddy trying to get ready to get out and point a gun at me, so I went like I was going to go left, but immediately turned right around him. They tried to chase me at the stoplight at Grand Street, but I filtered to the front of the line. I was sitting at the stoplight thinking, "Surely they wouldn't do anything with all of these people here." WRONG! This muthafucka got out of the passenger side of the SUV and started running at me. So, I ran the stoplight. I get to the next stoplight. And I was looking behind me to see if they were still after me. Yes they were. So, I ran that light, and the next two lights. Once I got far enough away from them, I went onto the highway, looped around, and went back to my mom's street. I had my pistol on me, but I didn't want to risk dying for a bike, but I didn't want to lose my bike either. So, I ran like a bitch. I'm sorry. Some people need to learn how to work for what they get and stop trying to take things from people by force. I worked hard to get my bike. They can do the same. It's alright. If it ever happens again, I will have them on camera. All my motovlogging stuff will be here on Tuesday. Got a GoPro Hero 8, Chinmount from Chinmounts Canada, waterproof housing, Tascam DR-05X, Purple Panda, Ghost Drift XL for a "dashcam", Cardo Freecom 4+ with JBL Audio Speakers, and a Z1R Solaris Helmet. I'm all set for motovlogging and the next thief will be on camera. I hope it never happens again. I bought this bike to relieve stress, help with PTSD, commute, and motovlog. Not to have my stress go through the roof.
You did the right thing. If you have the chance to run away, you should, regardless of wether you're carrying or not. You risk your life by fighting back, not to mention the legal trouble of getting into a firefight like that.
Smart, it's not worth the lawsuit had you shot someone. Your best option was running glad you realized that. Honestly pulling a gun out on a bike is incredibly difficult
IMO Running was the proper first response, likely would've been shot trying to draw immediately from a stop. But if you were trapped then the firearm would've been the functional response.
nah dont be sorry, the last thing you want to do is get in a gunfight in the middle of a street. You had a vehicle that you could easily use to get away and you did that. Job well done imo

I almost got car jacked but they blocked me in a intersection. since I'm in Texas I pulled out my shotgun since I was coming back from the shooting range I got them running. I recommend anyone who lives in a sketchy area to have some kind of gun or conceal carry

Minnesota saw an increase 537% in carjackings from 2019-2020 then it went up another 40% from 2020-2021.That plus the high's and lows Cliques are at war in MPLS with no care for the public. Car is a manual but I always have the safety off and one in the chamber when in the city. Stay vigilant and stay safe!

Part of the issue is Cook County has a long history of handling violent offenders with a revolving door policy, and that starts with the juvenile courts. They put the criminally minded right back out on the streets that shouldn't be out there. Been going on for decades, so unlikely to be fixed anytime soon.
Also the legal system in Chicago is soft enough that it resulted in commuter criminals. When the city figured part of the crime issue had to do with economics surrounding high density low-income projects that weren't properly monitored and provided with social programs, etc., they tore and cleared the places out and relocated everyone to the surrounding counties. But the joke was still on them for that too, as those relocated drive back to the city when breaking the law because the policing and courts are much less harsh. The new homes in the surrounding communities are just where they lay low and take things easy.

5:25 They're using the same methods in Memphis. They tap you from behind and then when you get out, they pull guns and jack you. Luckily here in Memphis, we have permit less concealed (or open) carry, so we can defend ourselves from these guys.

Last year I was in Chicago to see my sister and I was driving my dads 2000 Ford F-150 and it was a total rust bucket like it wasn’t nice to look at and these guys in a blacked out Tahoe did the same thing they did to you in your GTO but I didn’t stop and I actually decided to hop on the expressway in hopes to get away but nope they pulled in front of me on the entrance ramp and stopped and got out with guns and pointed them at me but they didn’t realize that my dads truck has a lot of torque, more than their Tahoe so as soon as they got out and pointed weapons at me I just mashed the pedal and swerved around them and I ended up hitting two guys with guns and took off two of the right doors on the Tahoe and didn’t stop until I knew I was safe.

@@Doggio_ A 16 year old kid and his buddy were shot in Loveland after their car was stolen. No relation to the suspects. It's not safe anywhere. I live in Noco as well. Considering getting my conceal carry before state politicians make it next to impossible to own a gun.

In Oct I got chased by a jeep on my Harley. Guy with his buddy saw me at a light a ran right up behind me. I noticed the aggression and ran the light. They gave chase for a few blocks as i turned to other blocks. I finally lost the guy and made it to my garage to have him appear out of nowhere as I was talking to people in from of my garage while off the bike. They slowed down saw I was with people and sped off. Next time that happens I’m riding as far away from my garage and lose them and back track it back home. It was scary.

I had some kids try to get me to pull over a few years ago, Im not sure if they were just trying to scare me or actually rob me. one pulled in front of me and slowed to a stop and I just flew around him. They kept following me and eventually we came to a red light, when I was slowing down he just kept going and they t-boned a car in the intersection. Im assuming they were drunk or high or something. I didn't stop to find out(Wasnt a crazy crash but the cars were totaled for sure)

Someone tapped my bumper last year 2 months after the riots, in Davenport and I just leaned out and screamed at him but he had two other people with him so obviously I wasn't getting out to start shit lol but seeing this video really makes me think staying in the car was a suoer good idea. I've never been to Chicago but during the riots there were A TON of people from Chicago here getting arrested those nights so a bit scary ro think about all that crime getting across the river.

I used to work right under the Blue line on W. Lake Street back in the late 90's. I saw cars getting stripped and all kinds of other crazy stuff in that neighborhood. It was downright SCARY to be there at night. Seems like the craziness is back with a vengeance!

I was held at knife point in my Evo X last summer on Roosevelt and Pulaski. I was on Roosevelt heading to lower whacker and 290 was backed up.
Sad part is I barely cracked the window (my own arm never could fit through) to give the guy a $5 bill bc he was begging. And like lighting he had his arm in my window and door unlocked, in my passenger seat with a knife pushed into my right side.
He then proceeded to have me unlock the doors so his boy could get in the back seat. Luckily they were so dumb that he didn't notice everytime he hit unlock I hit lock again. Otherwise that guy in the back seat totally would have put a gun to me and made me drive wherever they wanted (robberies, God knows).
Before I explain what happened next, just to be clear, if somehow he did get in the back seat, I would have taken us all on the fucking ride of their lives.
So in a nutshell, while they tried figuring out how to unlock the doors in back, I jumped out of the car quickly in the middle of the intersection and decided I'd let them take my baby.
Guy jumped in drivers seat and that's when I realized I shut the car off, and I have the smart fob in my pocket. It won't start now. They panicked and took off.
I then looked all over for them so I could run them over b4 they did that to some poor young lady. Never found them.
I am VERY well aware of my surroundings. I will never understand how this happened. It's the same thing you will say if you're not careful.

The biggest problem in Chicago, is the pro crime government there. Carjacking should be a capital offense with zero tolerance.
