We found it strange as well- although they didnt really design it themselves they copied other factories in china, but coded it themselves which is why its having issues. they just rebranded these bikes as their own.
@@letsreview-2024 so are you saying the same version of this bike exists but under a different company? I have one of the folding ebikes as of right now and I have seen many different companies slap their name on the same bike frame.
@@PhantomPanic 90% similar. eahora changed a bit so they don't get sued as the other factory that originally made this style is also in china. imagine if honda took a hyundai car and added 10hp, changed the badging, changed the colour a bit moved the headlights positioning by a degree...etc... thats all eahora does. except by adding/removing what they did they ruined the bike and made it unreliable.
They are awful. Went through a nightmare with them. Also I want to point out that they changed their seller's name on Amazon to get rid of all their bad reviews. You know just how an honest company does
Thanks for this vid- I was just looking into that eBike company as a possible source for my eBike purchase- at least your bad experience has helped others not suffer all that- very thankful for you doing this & saving me a ton of trouble- when I get my eBike it has to work since I will be using it to get to & from work & it is going to cost me almost all my current savings... the sooner these scam artists dressed up as eBike companies are shut down the better for everyone!

I do not know if that will help you in getting them to send you the parts you need, get a refund, or the $$$ they promised to take it to an eBike shop however I do hope it does help you bcuz you literally saved me from a worst case nightmare scenario- I am homeless in DC with an obstructed SCOTUS Case that is super important to the country & I am super marginalized living homeless trying to survive as long as possible in the hopes my case will be heard one day- so I have saved up 3 grand over three years just to get an eBike to help me with my situation- if I have an eBike I can haul a power washer & tools to job sites & have the ability to expand what little business I get working while homeless- I need the eBike to be able to get to & from work with my gear or I simply cannot work since I am a carpenter... thus if I ended up spending that entire 3 grand for a very large & heavy paper weight I would be back to zero & three years older... I'm simply asking them to fix the bike they won't even do that.. I'd suggest you don't bother with Eahora anymore it's not worth it even if they give you a 50% discount. the only way this bike would be worth it is if you got a 75% refund, because you'll have to put so much money and time into the bike.

That's a big loss. I'm glad I didn't choose Eahora when I looked for electric bikes. I went with Rad Power Bikes. Eahora's bikes look cool but I guess their customer service isn't cool.
UPDATE: Eahora has finally offered a full refund if we return both our bikes (this makes no sense so we didnt agree) one of our bikes are already sold to a third party. They Wont accept the return unless we return both bikes. they are obviously just playing games now. the only reason they are offering a refund now is because they see how many views these videos are getting, and its causing other customers who are having similar issues to make videos of their own.

super disappointed in Eahora. they dont even send the instruction manual and assembly instructions with the bike...they just send you a video from the first romeo series single motor ebikes. the set up for both bikes are different. they dont seem to understand that they are doing.
Hall sensor problem. the controller cannot understand the position of the rotor relative to the hall sensors. but it doesn't give you an error code because it's very likely that a single control unit manages both engines. If you try to turn the wheel by hand and at the same time operate the engine using the accelerator, what happens? Does it stall or spin?try disconnecting the motor power connector AND there is a 9 pin connector. Three pins power the copper windings and the others are: positive, negative and one for each hall sensor. plus white. But it may not be there because in the double motor only one motor reads the speed. With a tester you could try to see if there is continuity between the sensors and the engine side connector.
I bought the new Romeo pro 2. It went 2 mile error code 08 shut power to the rear motor and 80 percent power to front motor. I am waiting a a new controller at my cost i don't mind that. I understand. If it works well i may buy the Julliet model single motor.
I wouldn’t mind a horse… except the feeding, and I don’t have the land, and the grooming, and the maintenance of the saddle and bridle… I absolutely would mind having a horse
just use the frame and batery to build your own bike, add a hubmotor that you like and you have custome bike, you make a few videos of the proces so burning it would be a mistake in my opinion.

I know it sounds weird but I had the same issue and just ignored the seller and went straight to Amazon and got a full refund twice within 2 days each

You can dispute with your credit card company, you'll win.

i believe the bike has 2 separate controllers- according to their website.
