Lovely, musical, passionate, spirited, accurate -- and a fine orchestra and conductor. One should be so lucky as to see a performance like this once or more in one's life. Fortunately I saw Jeff Bradetitch and Franco Petracchi perform it at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL a few years ago, but it was not with orchestra. Just think how this would be with professional recording -- sigh. But, we are so lucky to have this on UA-cam.

Fortunately I saw Jeff Bradetitch and Franco Petracchi perform it at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, a few years ago, but it was not with orchestra - Jeff's wife on piano. Just think how great this would be with professional recording -- sigh. But, we are so lucky to have this on UA-cam. Bravo to all concerned.

@ShredRedemption hold up. I'm not saying I am better. I knoww they are very very good. I am saying they didn't put a whole lot of music into this piece. Listen to Tom Martin's recording with Petrochi; It is a whole world different. In this performance they are just playing notes, not making music.
this is my so called dream music i love it so much.I love this piece but they are going way to fast .slowdown and more passion theh bow after the intense beginig should be il little bit more legato but not to much look at the gary karr version . if they pladed some where in the middle of howed they played it and gary it would be better but still good.

amazing, as always... How about Furtok plays Bottesini's first double bass concerto 3rd movement?

Zu gute Technisch!
Aber sind sie wie Shinkansen!!! oder Jet Coaster's !!!
Not going to lie; both of you have great skill, but this seems like a joke. More like loonytoon music than actual music.
