    What is the use of class when we are able to use class B range with class C subnetting or vice versa? Any specific reason for classifying the IP address ranges with classes.

      By subnetting computer understands which one is network bit and host bit

      First to reduce the wastage of ip addresses as there are limited in number . Secondly it helps in minimizing the traffic as the network itself is divided into various sub networks . Consider it as if multiple lanes are leading to a destination instead of a single road

      If you have carefully watched all the subnetting part, you'll understand the purpose of it. Pretty much dividing network into small parts to accommodate or fit the number of computer in an organization as to avoid wastage of ip addresses
