You guys push too hard on bands playing Genesis stuff! It´s Mike Rutherford and It´s really nice. Of course, It´s not the same, but It´s still ok!!! Nice to be different! Genesis is only one and Mike and the Mechanics is also only one! I remember a long time ago, Genesis did play a different version of a Mechanics song! So what??? It´s cool! It´s music!
Nice version.Genesis songs are not untouchable.Since the original members are not doing them anymore,it is either covers or just vinyl.It is a choice but life goes on.
This is why old Phil Collins is a living legend...his voice was perfect for this song

Such a simple song in many ways but is so brilliant because of that. Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks ARE Genesis from beginning to end.

Great one, Mike is there after all, but it's hard not to notice the VERY different keyboards and drumming. A simple song, but so much a Genesis song.

Nice cover, well, is it really a cover since Mike wrote it? You don't often hear quality vocals on covers of this song, but this was really very good.
Rutherford wrote FYFM lyrics. And both (with Tony Banks) made the music.

Mechanics, definitely. Wilson has some great solo output when he plays his own music, but I just don't like most of his Genesis versions.
On Follow You Follow Me Wilsons voice is better, I think.
