There is a Ruby throat fluffing himself up guarding the feeder and he watches me as I sit there I can move around and they don’t get spooked I think they’re used to me.. anyway he was watching this you tube video on the tablet 😂 he was focused on it not moving his head side to side just still looking at that gold . They have amazing personalities I think we under estimate the intelligence of these these birds .. I watched one cock his head down like a cat about to stalk something and and it just dive bombed the female but he looked so mad 😆 never ever have I found more peace and more stillness especially with the world in chaos then I have found sitting still and observing nature and all the beauty there is right in front of our very eyes . Hummingbirds to remember faces and they do return to the same feeders after migrating . The males usually tend to return to their birth place
