Hi How exactly did you start businesses? Did you learn with somebody earlier or just work on own land to learn how to operate skidsteer. For work for clients do you need any certificates or just businesses registration

I understand you feeling on taxes. That said, people who work regular jobs pay that and more and have less options than you to avoid some of it. You should feel grateful you can even do that in our country.
I’m extremely grateful! We live in the best country in the world. Doesn’t change the fact that small business and the middle class is the extremely over taxed.
GM is ruining their name due to 29k+ backorders on the transmission valve body for that truck. My 2023 has been down since 9/29/2024 with no end in sight. Not trying to be a downer, but don’t want you to get into a bind.
RAM isn't any better. Waiting on parts to repair the grid heater recall, its been about as long. Thankfully my truck isn't down. but if the nut on the heater fails it falls into the engine and destroys it...brilliant design really. While I wouldn't have to cover the engine, I don't want to see how long it would take to get a new 6.7 engine. I'm tempted to just delete the grid heater altogether.
@@MORE_DIRT from my research, A LOT of the new trucks are having serious issues in one way or the other, so hold on to the old tried and true trucks! It’s a sad state of affairs, really.
@@MORE_DIRT you better check into the details. Because if you put that under the business as a commercial vehicle, you have to have commercial insurance and tags. The commercial insurance more likely will cost about $800 or $900 per month. Is it worth it?
@@MORE_DIRT I’ve been in business for 28 years. I have dealt with this exact issue with two different accountants. If you lease it to your company that becomes another business, “MORE_DIRT Leasing.” Now you have to keep track of profit loss on that lease to your excavating business as a separate business. Then you have to file different paperwork for the separate company a new EIN, BOI, LLC, insurance and more. My accountant suggested I would not do this. So I did not. This goes along the same lines if you have an office in your house. You have to calculate how many square feet the office takes up, and on a percentage basis calculate the electricity for heating/AC to maintain that single office space. These issues are a big red flag to the IRS. Good luck.
Congratulations on your business 👏🏻👏🏻love how you put god first 👏🏻👏🏻✨👏🏻👏🏻
It wouldn’t be possible without him!
Did he really look out the door to look for a camera on the roof? Lol. New subscriber! I have people ask me about mine all the time.
Those high countries are legit, it’s a little too quiet though. Gotta make some things disappear when the warranty is up
Absolutely!!!!
I’m a die hard Chevy-GMC and will be fit life…. But u will NEVER catch me buying an HD after ‘06…. Nothing but junk and a headache so…yeah good gift…

High country and it didn't even come with amp steps?
Did you just go with the truck over the mini because you dont need a mini often and have easy rental access?
Correct, a newer vehicle is something my family really needed. I lease a 60D off a guy and rent smaller machines as needed.

How do you get a tax write off on your wifes vehicle
It’s for my “business” although she will drive it.
Tax laws are wild
@@MORE_DIRT I'm surprised she didn't want a Tahoe or suburban. As long as it weighs over 6000 pounds it should qualify.
@muchogracious1557 I wasn’t gonna buy something I cant hook to a gooseneck trailer LOL
@MORE_DIRT I understand that. 👍
Being a small business owner has its perks
How’s ur dirtbike a write off for the business 🤣
I literally build tracks and test them for the customer. Just wrapped up my 40th track build. It’s advertising and marketing plus a tool.
@ then it’s a write off .
I get asked the same question a lot 😂

You spent 70k? I bought a diesel 24 and spent 61
$65k technically with the extended warranty and taxes.
To get the tax write off you have to put that in your business name correct?
It’s whatever my accountant recommends. Either we put it in my name and lease it back to my business or just put it 100% in my businesses name.

@JasonSmith-vd1sz Solid point. Think we are gonna just lease it back to the business instead.
