Hi Jimmy. Interesting lens. Looking at the glass from a front view it does not appear to be the same expected shape as my Anamorphic Sirui or indeed even my Anamorphic Moment iPhone lenses ?? The actual size and weight is great, particularly for use with a 3 axis gimbal. I will definitely look further into the spec and details of this lens 😊😊
I'm thinking the Vazen 28mm anamorphic lens would be equivalent or very close as it has 1.8 squeeze, but 3x the price, bigger and heavier 😀. Thank you, that was great review.
Great video and waiting on my Laowa 18mm. Meantime I been practicing film shooting on my past down Pentex k1000. There's some enjoyment having no idea how your photos come out lol. Would love to get my hands on a Leica m6.
Pentax K1000 is a classic, simple but what you need as a photographer. M6 is an all time classic and one that I wouldn't let go (though mine needs a service), lucky I bought it when it was still cheap(er) and now the prices are through the roof.
Hey we know you are an Olympus guy, so can you slow down on the cheap shots at Panasonic please! I like Panasonic but I usually don't take shots at Olympus or OM or whatever they might change their name to in a desperate attempt to remain relevant. Lol, it does not feel good does it?
What “cheap shots” are you talking about? You are a big boy right? It is perfectly fine to critique something. A constructive criticism is not a “cheap shot.” He always says things are his preference and he is not speaking for everyone. If you prefer Panasonic then I’m sure he would have no problem with that.
