- Many people have contacted me about the concerns of cutting the boundary wire for the Flymo 1200R with a strimmer if they get one. So this is for those prospective owners who have concerns.

Good vid. Just ordered one. I have a hard boundary right around my lawn. What’s the closest I should bury the wire to to wall, without it actually hitting the wall (but getting close to edges)? Cheers
In the box is a cardboard cut out that helps you define the best border.
From memory its about 30 cm.
My grass borders the neighbours field of grass. There is no boundary anything between our respective grass areas. But for the boundary wire nothing would stop the Flymo dissapearing into the neighbours excessively large field of grass.
This boundary to neighbours property has perimeter of 50m or so.
What do you reckon the chance is it could cross the boundary wire and dissapear into the neighbours wilderness?
How often could this happen?
I would say it would be very unlikely to do this, as if it goes over the boundary wire or if it accidently cuts it the mower just stops.
So its not something I would be concerned about personally.
