This bass is awesome, simplicity but still many options for tone, whatever style you're playing. He's right, a punch in the face. Nice one Charvel.
Killer bass! His ESP signature models looked great too
Everyone Frank plays with (Anthrax/Helmet) he just brings groove with him
The quality of my ProMod 24 DK gtr SMOKES ALL THE SPR STRAT'S OUT THERE & THEN SOME!!!!!!!! & Props 2 Frank, very underrated plyr!!!!!
I love how New York he is. "Who the hell needs this?!"
Nice bass… still Fender. Super cool to get some bass love though from Charvel!
Much deserved!
He's a fan of Phil Lynott, that's so cool! ❤
Gotta love how he looks like Charlie with longer hair.
loved Frank ever since I was a kid in the 1980s listening to Among the Living on my walkman. His tone and playing has always been outstanding.
Looks awesome my issue is the price definitely not affordable if I saved up for a year I wouldn't be able to afford this bass and I'm referring to the over seas version plus there's not a spec on here that I would pay over 800 for
I wanna get it, but it's so expensive!
He’s starting to look like Geezer.
Who?
And Geddy
@@XK49Geezer Butler he bassist for Black Sabbath.
Couldn’t agree more
Chahvel
Not sure if to get a schecter model t or this. Choices 🤔
For the money the Schecter model T Session basses are some of the best out there!!!!! I own one and for 500 bucks that I paid for it is WAY under rated!!!!
model T sound great
If you want the bells and whistles go for Schecter, if you need a solid bass go for this
5 String version?
They should have added a ATC circuit from EMG !!!!(active tone control/boost)....as you turn it up it boosts the lows and highs and scoops the mids from one tone pot!!!!
Thats called the EMG EXB the pot that does the exact opposite is the VMC, theres also a BTC that is a boost cut of bass and treble. All can be used together!!!
Why the fuzz pedal? Not many people use it that often , I'd rather hear it clean first
As much as I love Frank Bello as a character and as a player, this new bass looks horrible. Even though looks aren't everything, it is definitely an important factor in instruments. In my opinion, his ESP and LTD sigs have the best looks, especially the FB-4. I own one (the version with a proper mirror pg) and am super happy with it. Thanks for the video anyway!
It looks like the Dave Ellefeson Peavy
@@rl-ub9hx That's true!
The bridge is kick ass, but it's not BADASS.
I just tried one, not worth the price. Also, it's called a pickguard for a reason, unless you pluck near the neck the placement makes no sense. It's a gimmick bass.
It’s a pickguard/scratch plate modelled after the one Fender made for the very first Pbass in 1951. I’m not sure why you’d think the bass is a gimmick either? It has features of the Fender elite series like the truss wheel, compound radius and carbon fibre reinforced neck. All great features.
it is based on a telecaster bass I think. I have personally never touch a pickguard with my pick (or maybe when I start bass. And didn't know how to play.)
Frank said exactly the same thing a few years ago with ESP, and he said the same thing again more than 10 years ago when he was with Fender 🤣 and he will say the same thing again in a few years when he leaves Charvel for another company 🤷🏻♂️
