Just a little tip on the rekka you don't really need to do delay to sideswitch or anything, if you end with L will sideswitch, if you end with M will keep same side, you can abuse it to get corner carry and bomb loops on the corner, using rekka with M, delay L, M, delay L, M. You get a ton of corner carry, and another interesting route after rekka with M is full mash L, in to J2s, SD, JM, JH, J236L
Damn I really want to main Teen Gohan but all of these combos are so frame tight. When I do the cross up jL > 236H and then 2M 5M.. the 2M doesn't always connect, no matter how hard I mash, or if I try to time it, it's just not consistent. In that same combo, doing the double 2S also just randomly works, then randomly drops, while I'm trying to do the same thing every time. He seems like an "easy" character, but these tricks of his need to be more consistent and frame user friendly, otherwise he's kinda hard actually. GL online Then again this is coming from the guy who can't do any loops (except for baby) or rejumps so maybe I just suck
Nah you dont suck bro, it just takes practice, and some of the bomb loops are position dependant. I main him and I've dropped him several times but always come back 'cause its a fun character. After a lot of hours with him, I'm just starting to do some saucy combos, just try to be fun and If you hit the lab, try infinite spark and loop combos with that, do it for the fun and you will start to get the feel of the timings !

Yeah, positioning is key, and somehow I manage do 2M 5M jML jc jLL with different timings everytime, despite playing this game for over 1k hours so positioning becomes slightly off XD It's a shame they aren't more frame forgiving. I'm indifferent to him as a playable character, but I really love the character himself and who he represented in that moment in the show, so I really wish I could reliably play him. Especially online..

Tohan is my favourite character and he es really fun in the game, unlike piccolo, who is my second favourite but I dont like him in the game... You can show me some stuff if you want and i could see how could you improve on him, I like using references of combo videos but I try to give them my signature, if that makes sense
Bro don’t worry. When I was learning rejumps, I actually got it in the bag my first day and was doing it consistently like it was nothing for two days. Then the day after, I just couldn’t do it for the life of me. It’s like all of the training just been for nothing. But one day I’ll probably learn it properly, but today’s not that day. So learning these combos is an experience that’s for sure.
I will give you some advice that my friend gave me recently as I just picked up the game again. It's better to press the button late than it is to press it early. Outside of times where you can mash buffer an input (like Vegito 214M at the end of a combo) most things in this game need to be inputted either as fast as possible or properly otherwise stuff drops. So timing is needed and once you find the accurate timing for some of these combos, you'll find how easy they actually are.

Why did u choose l legs for the mixup after autocombo? You get an actual mixup with m and H legs (50/50) not the l ones. Ah nvm hahaha sorry!

It's a shame they aren't more frame forgiving. I'm indifferent to him as a playable character, but I really love the character himself and who he represented in that moment in the show, so I really wish I could reliably play him. Especially online..
