@@hentsilol2553 Hit it after you see the attack you are going to jump cancel connect. That is what I do. If you go too early it wont come but there is a good amount of time after the hit connects when you can jump and still continue the air combo.
Picked up this game about a year ago and I do not regret getting this game as a Dbz fan this game is a breath of fresh air and unique. I don’t play fighting games and to be honest this is the first fighting game that I’ve dedicated this much time in too I feel like i learn something new every time I hop on and I’m not nowhere near the top level yet I love how this game is well balanced and almost all the characters if not all are viable Exception: videl and goku black cough cough* Nonetheless I’m glad I’ve decided to try this game and I’m looking forward to the last two characters reveals and season 4 if not a new dbz fighters 2
This is an amazing fucking video. Massive props for explaining things so simply and concisely. You basically took 17 short minutes to explain fairly advanced concepts that tell me exactly why I've been getting my ass kicked.
Wow this is amazing content. Sometimes getting into fighting games really is about understanding these principles that go unspoken because few games ACTUALLY teach you how to play
I played a ranked match on 0bp sabiaman and got smashed I knew some stuff but he was playing crazy I got some hits but then he striked at the right moment crap this game is hard
This is a a really great vid for beginners. I’ve been playing since launch and I’ve been trying to get more of my friends to play but it’s kinda hard to explain everything to them this video will help a lot💯🔥
Im a dbfz V E T E R A N and for the new players this is the best guide, now watch his "tier list" he explains all the characters and their rights and wrongs. Also watch the other creators give tips and combo guides. Also if your new to fighting game and dont know what "2M. 2H, SD A1 means theres someone who explains what they stand for. Good luck saiyans and have a nice day.
Great job Globku! Thanks for this tips! I just hit Living Legend rank and I will need to manage well these 5 fundamentals to keep progressing as the game gets harder.
They only talked about offensive sparking. Sparking in defense to avoid a mix is also viable. Like getting hit with kid buu A assist mid screen while blocking. Instead of having to guess a 1 in 4 mix you can spark and not worry about it.
The context of that video was that because of the ranked game changes giving people more points per win at higher ranks, people started ranking up faster and/or started getting a higher rank than they would if the rank changes hadn’t of happened. Most super saiyan gods and living legends were able to get to 2-4 ranks higher. This meant ranked became mixed with more bad players at higher levels. And when I say bad I mean above average we’re starting to play experts. So all in all to Globku it seemed as if players he was fighting had gotten worst since the patch. But no, what happened was more lower ranked players got to his rank and was fighting him, they weren’t prepared to fight him therefore it was easy.
I forgot I had this game installed onto my Xbox I think I pre ordered it when it was first going to come out and I completely forgot about it. Thanks for this it’s coming in handy!
All I wan is to have fun playing this game in Online Matches and since I got my Red Square all my matches are against lifeless E.V.O wannabe players that don't let me touch the floor :_ the last 2 days all I did was starting matches and let them kill me to go back to Yellow where at least I can have fun.
The hardest and most frustrating thing so far is that the players i go up against online are so good that they curb stomp me before i can learn anything
Thank you for this video. It makes sense to me but I still get my🍑 kicked by unstoppable combos. I’ve been trying to get better but I don’t think this game is for me. I’ll still try playing but I think I might just quit all together. Great video though. 👍
My biggest problem with the game is of how to read my opponent's moves and block in order not to get comboed to death. It is an incredible game but I found the block techniques in GGRev2 way easier than here.
I get absolutely shredded by hard level bots (I'm pretty bad but used to fighting games). Once I'm in a corner, it's over. Combo spammed, can't block, can't instant transmission, can't do nothing but die.
This a pretty good guide, but only for people who really understand the games mechanics. Not to someone like me who picked up the game recently. It was very hard to understand.
You should also be able to quickstep back to avoid a command grab and dragon rush too... TBH any short range attack should be avoidable with a backwards quickstep . But you’d still need to be alert for follow up attacks
I know this doesnt have anything to do with the video but there is game called JOJO'S Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle for ps3 and its an arena fighter and its a really good game thats really slept on I heavily encourage anyone who reads this to check it out and give it a try you wont be disappointed
Blocksrtings will always be my flaw in playing this game. I think I am to lazy to open up my opponent rather than caught him of guard. Nice tip on putting the dummy in block first only.
Littt been watching since jump force came out love the vids Globku keep it up. Also do you have any tips for me to rank up? I’m only in Supreme Kai tier and want to move soon but I’m not doing hot
My tip is just play the game, just button mash and have fun, win lose don’t matter just keep playing and spamming than after time you’ll just pick up stuff. people tend to think this game is hard to master. You just have to play the game
i wish someone would make a video about the ACTUAL mechanics of the game like why combos drop how many smash attacks do you get the amount of scaling on each hit. The actual mechanics that make the game.
Combos Drop because of Hit Stun Decay. (It exists so there won't be any infinite combos) You get one smash attack per combo. (And a second one if you wanna vanish) How much scaling each hit has is incredibly situational and is not that important. You should practise combos in training mode before performing them in an actual match.
I don't know how to word this nicely. When that guy who was talking about blockstrings came up, I had to turn subtitles on cause I had no idea what he was saying.
You think where getting a second one or this one is built upon for another year or years also is thier a way to not get frustrated Example:When you know your health from one follow ups and assists drains from 100% to 80%. So you guard and yet you still gets mixed qnd loses with in 3 mins its a guarantee with gt goku,ui goku, every broly and geynu it gets annoying very quick. I struggle with timing for assistance combos and movement, like I feel I'm blocking yet I get hit. So neutral I guess I have to work on this.
If you’re getting hit while blocking then practice defence instead. No point practicing neutral if whenever you have to block you keep getting hit
About to buy this game, shit gonna be fire
