- Hi I'm Ella! I'm a teenage witch who is still experimenting with different paths and learning which type of witch I want to be. I've dabbled in green witchery, divination, crystals and lots of other magical mediums and I love to try out new types of witchcraft and try to document it here. I've been making magickal videos since the beginning of my craft when I was around 11 and started this channel in 2022 when I finished my gcses to chronicle my journey. I've no energy at all at the moment due to being ill the last couple of weeks and your video was a nice reminder that celebrating the Sabbaths doesn't have to be elaborate or complicated. I was planning on going for a lovely walk but I'm too tired so instead I've got candles going on my simple Brigid altar, made a brigid cross from paper and sat in front of it with a brew looking out the window and just watching the birds and enjoying the sun which has come out for a change. Great video!

Yesterday i took a walk at sunrise in the countryside, I noticed an abandoned farm house, as i came closer i realized there were all kinds of animals inside the fence, a heavy dark horse, a pony, a little goat and two cows. It was so magical, as if they were greeting me for Imbolic. I pet them for like an hour and left, I don't know why they are there but i'm planning to bring them some food and water.

I have no energy due to severe m.e/cfs, so we do little things in the run up so we can simply enjoy the day. My partner cleans the house, and buys me white flowers (roses this year. 😊) We change the oils from a Christmas blend to pure lemongrass, as it smells so fresh. We make a Brigid's cross, replace the rosemary around the house that are in charms, we make candles from old wax used through the year, and have colcannon for tea.
On Imbolc itself, I have candles lit, the flowers in a vase, I have the lemon grass scent on, I look at the growing daffodils/snowdrops/crocuses in the garden. I spend it in relaxation.

I feel less alone now...thank you. I've started doing little things like this, starting today. Just replaced all the bateries for the candles and fairy lights. :) Chammomile oatmeal for tomorrow.

Blessed Imbolc, Ella! I will share with our Soul Sister Collective :-). A few of us are UA-camrs, too, and try to help each other grow channels. Winterwatch looks great, but I live in the US ;( Such great recommendations!!! The fire festival of Imbolc often honors Brigid who is a triple Goddess of 3 sisters (as opposed to a Triple Goddess of virgin, mother, crone). A great thing to do is to create a clootie tree (scraps of cloth each with a wish or prayer) for your altar.

I love these. Can you do this for the other sabbaths as well? As someone who's new to all this and doesn't always have the time, energy, or money to do a lot of the things I'm told you can do, it nice to find some other options that are a bit more easier for me to do be apart of.

I went for a dog walk in nature, birds singing, ivy and evergreens, and pussy willow in bloom. Cold and windy, but it's getter lighter in the evenings.
