I for one absolutely love the redesign of this home! It's just my husband and I so we don't need a home this large anymore but if we did this would be the one for me. The kitchen is perfect and I love that it is in the center of the home to be the gathering place! The master bathroom is everything I would want as well! I could go on and on about everything I love about this place but I think you get my message already. Plus the price is amazing for a home this size and this nice!

Now this is a Home done RIGHT with the exception of only having 2 Bathrooms, which I'm sure can be modified for the Buyers preference. I absolutely LOVE that you can't see anything other than a Wall when you walk into the Home & Master Bedroom!

I saw the previous version when you filmed it, but my fiancé send I saw it in person in Missoula before that. I seriously fell in love with that home overall. This home still retains a lot of the features of the original with the smugglers and canning pantries as well as the two dining areas. Personally, I preferred the other kitchen much better. I liked the curve of the island and you could seat so many more at that one. Additionally, with the curved island, the room seemed to flow better to me. It didn't feel so closed off and boxy. This new design feels too separated to me, even though there is a big pass through. I do agree that I would like pot drawers and a pot filler. Even a raised dishwasher, if feasible. I would also opt for French doors by the morning room area instead of sliders. The office area in the original didn't have the desk or doors, but I'm OK with that either way. I would have used it as a little library space with the previous layout. The master is still good, nice and roomy. It easily accomodates a king size bed. The bathroom is fine, but there are still changes I would make. I really dislike the "water closet" concept. Just tuck it away and don't put a heating vent right next to the toilet. The vanity area is nice, but I would opt to remove the middle cabinets and replace it with a lowered dressing table. I would definitely add a bench in the shower and add a door that swings our. I don't like sliders in my bathroom. To me, doors that swing open are safer in the case of a fall. Overall, I still like this home. I just liked the other kitchen much better. By the way, what was with that little niche in the dining room wall? It wasn't there before and seems kind of awkward.
I am a canner and this home is almost perfect for me. I love the pantry and freezer space. I would make some changes though. The basic flow is fine. I have lived in many states and a few foreign countries. I've learned a lot. I too am in Montana and some of these changes are for a cold weather climate. Kit Homes has some of the nicest homes on the market. This is as close to perfect for us as they come. I'm just going to list some of the things I'd want, in case someone else hasn't thought of them. FOYER: I'd want an entry, drop zone, and I'd want that entry enclosed. Sealed & enclosed. I don't want -30 F and snow blasting into the home every time someone opens the door. With an extension to the wall it's doable. They do this a lot in the colder areas of Europe and it is a heat saver. Formal Dining Room: No one would use that as it's intended purpose. So, I'd like a sink and beverage fridge in there (which should be there anyway). Then close that room off a bit and we'd use it as an exercise room. Those windows are perfect for that, looking outside with some Led Zeppelin, while on a treadmill, looking out over the mountains, is indeed a Stairway to Heaven. Having it there is central to the house without disturbing the rest of the house. I'm not fond of glass front doors in cabinets. If they are an option, they can go. Kitchen: This is big for me. I live in the kitchen. Of course, an upgrade on that fridge, I need canning size bowls to fit in there. A pot filler over the stove. A cooktop gas stove that is a bit wider than standard, otherwise the canners hang over the stove onto the counter. It can burn them and possibly it's a fire hazard. A longer cooktop should alleviate that. A larger exhaust over that stove with increased power. I'd want that bank of four drawers on the other side of the kitchen, on the stove side also. I can put my kitchen utensils there and my canning utensils. Along with foil, wax paper, parchment paper, cling wrap in those also. I no longer want bottom cabinets that are not drawers. There is nothing more inconvenient than having to squat up and down to dig things out of cabinets. Opening a drawer and having access right there, is beyond convenient. I cannot tell people how amazing that is. I'm not getting any younger. I'd want another pot drawer and other drawers next to the main sink. Move the ovens and microwave on the back wall if necessary. If possible, put a broom closet in. Surprisingly, tableware goes nicely in those drawers also. I'm 5'0", I can only use the bottom shelves of upper cabinets. Don't need the wine rack, but I can see that others down the line might like it. So, I too would put the bottles and bottles of beverage syrups in there. 😁 Another four drawer cabinet on that back wall. Let's face it, every kitchen has junk drawers. Why not plan for it? I'd probably want to get rid of a pass through window and counter space with stools. But that is just me. I don't like the TV blaring from another room while I'm in the kitchen. I can't avoid it completely, but I can lessen the impact it has. I'd use that wall for decoration and probably a TV for me. Possibly a computer monitor so I could use ear buds to follow recipes on cooking shows. Or listen to music. UA-cam!!! 😁 Utility Room: Take out the sink. Put a raised dog wash station in there. Bending over a dog in a tub... is no joke. Especially if you have ten of them to get ready for a dog show (not necessarily all ours, we share rides with others for these events.) If Kit homes can't do it, I'd ask for them to plumb that in and I'd hire someone in. If there are muddy boots and clothes that need a sink, it can be done in the dog wash, probably easier with a wand and space in there. Stuff is going straight into the washing machine anyway. We are a dog show family. I need these things. Take out the coat closet in there. No one in my house is going to open a closet and hang up a coat. Wire that so I can put in a stand alone dog dryer in near the dog wash. I can buy in the power is wired in. Take out the desk. I don't want my grandkids doing schoolwork in the utility room. Don't need it with an office. Too many distractions. They can do that in the office or their rooms. Put some cabinets in there for leashes, show leads etc. Have a drop zone in there. Master Bathroom: Re-arrange it for a long shower area with a soaking tub inside the shower. I couldn't climb in and out of that tub anyway. Opening should be big enough for a wheelchair. Also, take the toilet out of the enclosed space. If I do wind up in a wheelchair, no way to use that room. The bathroom is big enough. Anyway, those are just lifestyle things for me. I love this house. I really do love it. Darn near perfect. Kit Homes has done it again!

I like the other kitchen better but I do like the update on the office area and I absolutely love the switching of the toilet area and shower in the master bath, I wanted it this way when I saw the first video. I wish they would square off the outside in that one corner, I would like to have a basement under it and I personally don't like the look of it. Soffit lighting all around the outside would be nice also
There is only one thing I would change and that is in the master bathroom. I would rather not have a big tub in the master bath. I would rather have a sit down vanity station and additional cupboards in that space. Other than that. This is one of my top favorite models.
I think I like the old kitchen better, but hard to tell when this isn’t even finished out. I wish you would wait to film these homes when they are finished & set up for display cause it doesn’t do them justice posting videos of them just partially done & the videos aren’t as much fun.
I find the “updated” finishes very dated. A lot of wasted space. The kitchen is cramped because I’d the island. Thanks for the video tour, really enjoy your style.
Is the previous version still available? This one has lovely spaces, but is awkwardly laid out & has much space wastage. It eliminates many of the features I loved in the 1st version. I have no need for 3 eating areas & entry thru the dining room is a deal buster. There is enough wasted space to create a half bath & entry closet somewhere, plus another bedroom. Kitchen is beautiful but unworkable for me. Plus there is no direct access to the outside. BBQing would require walking thru a tight dining space with raw meat. This version has many plusses, but not enough to overcome the awful layout.

I have seen two videos of yours in which the lights weren't on and the home wasn't finished (like this video). It just doesn't work for me. You really need to give video tours in which all the lights are working and the home is finished. This is just my opinion. I can't get into watching a home video with not enough light or the flooring isn't even on the subfloor. I want to see a finished product with working lights. Thank you for your effort, though.
I'd watch these all day everyday if there were no talking and it were more asmr...create a second channel and get the second revenue from the asmr channel on 1 set of footage. Just remember to always film silent and ad the voice over on the crud channel.

Love it, but I would pay extra to have real plywood floors instead of pressboard flooring.

The living rooms are oddly placed. I just can’t get over the prices of these homes. 305k could buy you a nice 3-4b/2-3ba where I live.

I did try a second channel where I removed the voice over and added music. It didn't catch on.
