OCD and Tourette’s have a lot more in common than you’d think. My brother was diagnosed and treated for Tourette’s due to his compulsive tics and nothing got better until they realized it was OCD and treated it accordingly
Frozen vegetables and fruits are actually as nutritious as fresh ones, more so than jarred or canned. They are flash frozen basically straight from the field and the freezing process retains all of the nutritional value. There are no additives in there. Putting a few bags of precut and frozen veggies in the freezer is a big timesaver when cooking with limited time and it eliminates the most boring part of having to cut and clean up everything.
Also re: the childhood name change stuff: when I was in grade 8 I went by the name Bil because I realized my initials spell out as B I L and my grandfather’s name was Bill. This was in 2005-06. I never had gender role issues. I just think we just live in a society where male names are seen as neutral and cooler than female names.
Maddie, I didn’t realize I had medical trauma from my pilonidal cyst surgery until I was squirming around as you were telling your story! I think I was holding my breath too! I have had pain that bad one other time, also post op but holy shit did that suck!😮
i mean im with you on that, but maybe this could be the point at which you pay 1 dollar a month on patreon for this content, it helps her much more anyway
I haven't cried from physical pain since I don't know when, but I swear all the time. Oh Maddie, I was wincing when you described the gauze coming out.
I had the same cyst as Maddie and had to get surgery TWICE because the first time they stitched it and it got infected, exactly as Maddie said it would. One way to make it about gender is that I was told this type of cyst mostly happens to men because it's usually linked to being hairy 😂
I had a cyst in the same spot too during Covid and hurt soooooo bad and had a procedure done lol had to go under anesthesia I thought it’d just be a pop. Felt so ridiculous
I've been looking forward to an in person episode with Georgia from the beginning of the pod!!😍😍🥰 Her content helped me realize I was queer, which led me to this podcast😍🥰 So grateful for this pod and for this episode💞
im really sorry the whole 18:00 or whenever the cooking conv started....guys...i don't wanna be the annoying european but just come over and i can show you good healthy food 24/7 (+something else (im good at joggling))
Alex you absolute king I had no idea you did the intro notes!
Lol to him saying he doesn't get paid for gay thoughts when he helps you on them so often. 😆❤

I watched a dude with Tourette's for a while back in maybe 2017. It's been 7 years and I'm still trying to stop cracking my neck every 30 seconds.
Yay I was just rewatching an old Georgia episode last night! What a nice Monday morning surprise :D
New favourite episode!
I haven't cried from physical pain since I don't know when, but I swear all the time.

more alex. great episode
OMG ALEX??? right at the beginning? he killed that.
Maddie looking beautiful there ❤🎉 your gleaming smile 😁
Tics with Tourette’s can come and go with age. My tics grew with age and have slowed but became steady if that makes sense. 😅
And coprolalia affects 10-12% of those with Tourette’s. So not everyone has it 🙂 definitely a big misconception
Like this if your Google home responded to Ashley’s question 😆🙋♀️
So when is Abby Wambach coming on the pod?🤣
The long form joke 😂😂
Maddie is especially hot in this episode. It’s like she’s casually cosplaying Sandy from Greece. Sorry about the health emergencies! ❤
