- We start a trip in Cherokee, North Carolina and head up the Blue Ridge Parkway. Grabbing sections of the Trans American Trail and creating our own way up to northern Virginia. Come with us on this leg of our trip as we start in Cherokee North Carolina and work our way into the the blue ridge.
We end up camping at Cosby creek Campground
Most camping sites on the Blue Ridge need to be reserved ahead of time depending on availability you can pay, if available at the campground at a handful of locations. There aren’t many primitive camping sites in the area that will accommodate people camping out of a rooftop tent.
We use the overland bound app and Gaia for a lot of our information
