Either way seems like an awful lot of work after the fun hunting part. Getting rid of all the offal must be a problem too, because I assume that attracts other predators. What a complex problem.
AFAIK, there isn't much of anything to do with them. From what I understand, the big ones don't taste good while the small ones do. It is unfortunate that they have become feral and they can't be used (eaten)once killed. I don't know if they bury them or not, my guess would be not as there are so many of them, it would take a lot of resources to collect them and a big backhoe to dig a pit.
@@danielspencer1827 you can eat feral hog. Just gotta cook it properly. Though, you will always have to be very careful as to if they carry diseases or not. The methods for testing that I imagine is watching for a while before culling.
@@DoraTheMFDestroya , I agree they can be eaten but, from what I understand, most of the time they are crawling with ticks and other parasites. The resources to collect and transport all of the carcases and then immediately process them would be enormous. Just collecting 100 hogs quickly enough would take many backhoes and trailers or dump trucks and a army of people butchering. That's why I say that there isn't much to do with them. These ranchers are probably pretty tired and ready for bed after a night of this. Letting the hogs stay invites another issue which is drawing in Coyotes. Killing the hogs is actually just the beginning of even bigger issues with them. My friend Kevin has property in Elgin, Texas and he lets me come out and fish on the huge pond there. One day last year I called him to see if I could come out to fish, and he told me that the tank was no longer there. I thought he'd lost his mind! Turns out, feral hogs came in and completely destroyed it in just a couple of nights--they rooted around until all that was left was a giant mud bog. Literally. If I hadn't known, I'd have thought someone came in with a back hoe and purposefully destroyed it. My friend and some of his friends have been shooting these hogs but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I recently took a trip up to Mineral Wells and there was a 30 mile length of Route 180 where I saw dead hogs every 50 yards or so, presumably hit by cars. The problem is worse than people think.
Holy shit they destroyed the pond? I had no idea . There was another post some dude said a farmer just planted his corn crop and the bastards came in that night and uprooted all the corn and ate it I think he planted twice then had dudes come in and start shooting the hogs they say millions in crop damage
@@madmanmechanic8847 I don't doubt that at all. And yes they destroyed the whole pond in one night. The weird part was that I saw dead frogs all over the place in the mud, but for whatever reason the pigs didn't eat them. So why did they destroy the pond then?
Great video. I never knew that this problem existed. A few quick questions: What gun set ups did everyone use? How much ammo did ya'll use? How many nights did this video consist of? Thanks in advance.
Epic! You guys are the real thing. Superb marksmanship on moving targets, unbelievable. And it must be said, pest eradication is necessary and you are as humane as can be. I’d love to do this, planning on traveling to Texas as soon as I make some contacts. Would rather find a rancher who will let me shoot on his turf than pay for a guided session unless it’s from a chopper. I love the horizontal shooting when they’re all running in a line lol, damn i want some

Any rancher hates waste and it probably just makes their guts wretch that these hogs go to waste on top of the destruction they cause.
@@danielspencer1827 Of course, they eat meat, make sausages, canned stews, and they will hand over the skins for shoes or make food for animals. It is a sin to destroy nature and not use it. Nature and the Almighty God created animals - everything should go in favor
Great stuff but, what do you do with all the dead hogs?
@@Noodleydoo During the very hot weather pigs get really hot they will go in a root in water and mud to cool off that is why these ponds get destroyed
@@madmanmechanic8847 Could be!! I assumed they were ripping it all up to find food.
@@Noodleydoo Anyway that is the reason they do that to cool off .
Great video. I never knew that this problem existed. A few quick questions: What gun set ups did everyone use? How much ammo did ya'll use? How many nights did this video consist of? Thanks in advance.
what cal of rifle do you use ?
15:40 Deer in the background lookin like. Glad they ain't shootin us!
All pigdogs
Epic! You guys are the real thing. Superb marksmanship on moving targets, unbelievable. And it must be said, pest eradication is necessary and you are as humane as can be. I know you wish every shot was instantly fatal and final, but moving targets will deny you this. It’s not your intention to cause suffering, but there is a demonstrable pressing need for this culling, it cannot be left to fester, it demands action and is called Essential Pest Control.
Pelfreysteel bumper lol love the videos guys
I’d love to do this, planning on traveling to Texas as soon as I make some contacts. Would rather find a rancher who will
let me shoot on his turf than pay for a guided session unless
it’s from a chopper. I love the horizontal shooting when they’re all running in a line lol, damn i want some
when you ran that one down with the side by side lmfao. damn near crying from laughing so damn hard.....then a link for the bumper bahahahaha
Wow!! Great shooting!!
Классная охота и хорошее оборудование.
As someone who has been brought up in the UK countryside, I never had a clue that hogs would congregate in such large numbers of left alone.
Good shooting.
Right they all just grouped up so nicely for a good slaughter lmfao
Go get 'em! There's hungry people who can enjoy some pork on the kitchen table. I love large pork steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy, and Grand's biscuits!😋

LIVING THE DREAM GUYS!!💥💥💥
"Pelfreybilt Steel Bumper"
but in what caliber?
I should have complimented you on your marksmanship. Moving targets take a lot of training.
My Goodness, they multiply like rats. Good job guys!
I think they are actually worse than rats because many rats die young, farrel hogs almost allways live to breading age.
@@machinesandthings7121 And they are far more destructive than rats
@@Joe-xq3zu and a shit ton meaner
Faster than rats...

what caliber are yall using?
Informative video, I've never seen herds that large before! I'm not a hunter but I do hike/camp a lot and always carry a firearm (Kel-Tec 2000 .40 S&W or Glock 21) with me every time. I didn't notice any secondary weapons on your persons. Have you guys ever had a hog charge you or any other predator? Do you rely on your shooting skills only? If it were me, I'd simply trip the cameraman (my ex-brother-in-law) while retreating.
Haha!
Shit just noticed you guys are almost at 3/4 million subs. Badass!! Keep up the top notch work. No one can touch you guys on the quality of videos, shooting and content. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Please dont say the s word like that
