@@hotrodcountryboy3049 cool I was just afraid the water would get in the cracks where it isn’t coated and be able to run under the coating. I installed waterproofing and sealants for 40 years and usually it will still leak if the crack is exposed beyond the waterproofing. But I have also seen times that by stopping the bulk of the water, allows the water from the crack to just disperse into the now much drier soil. I’m happy it worked for you.
No the cement settled to low that is why I had trouble with water going in the basement. But this stopped it and I put some on the cracks in the basement wall in places. No water in it since.
Yes after I put the second coat against the house were I could see it didn’t take the first time. I haven’t had water in the basement since.I put the brush against the wall on the brick and let it run down, after I got a section done then I rolled to make the heavy spots flattened out. This stuff is great.
I only went out so far because we had the house sprayed years ago and the guy didn’t fill the drill holes like he was supposed to. I’m sure that’s what started the trouble and got worse over the years till it stared coming in the house.
Good job! Type S first on cracks, then blackjack. Gutters will also give you a fighting chance.
Thank You, haven’t had any problems since putting it on. I did put in spots on my basement wall to were the water had cracked the mortar.
Good job
Isn't that stuff supposed to go on vertical walls not on the floor?
What’s going to stop the water from just following the cracks and running under the coating?
It’s sealed up to the foundation. Still working

What's name brick water propping chemicals...
Is that path sloping away from the house?

@@hotrodcountryboy3049 thanks for explaining it. So important for concrete to always be sloping away from a home.
It was, the cement has settled down to much over the years
Did it stop the leak?
