What I like about you is that you think it out through the viewers eyes. Really fair that you've succeeded at this. Of course you'd show how you do it for a black background. ♡
Great video so when I create underbase just turn it white group it with the original vector photo? And that should I allow me to put it on any shirt with any color ink
@@CharleyPangus hey real quick the underbase in this video is just to make the color pop more when you screen print it right because with this method you can literally just use the victored black image like that on any shirt also love your videos man...
I love how you are able to make these intimidating Adobe programs and make them feel so accessible to anyone of any skill level. You explain everything so well and are easy to follow! I appreciate everything you do man! ❤️
I’m just learning this myself, but what I heard him say is, he MADE another black background which looks like he just clicked on a tool at the left side of screen. It’s at about 4:50. You’re right, he doesn’t explain that particular point it must be basic for well seasoned designers. Maybe he will see your Q and tell you what he did. Good luck!
Copy merged and past in place could be done with one keyboard shortcut (Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E) and the white background is better to use a solid color easier to change the color and in case you want to expand the convas size the solid color will be there while a simple white layer won't. Thanks for the video, good one.
Thanks Charley. What do you think about a video on how you come up with shirt ideas. I get my ideas on signs based on customers input but I'm not working right now. Kittl helps with that but of course I can't use it for everything. I've been goin on my interests but those are limited. Anyway, anything you could say would help!
Hi @CharleyCreates your videos are inspiring! So you dont need image tracing using pen tool manually? Then what is the use of pen tool for image tracing? can you explain?
Thank you I learned a lot from this! Black is so difficult to replicate period. In posting photos of black purses, slacks, shoes etc. on my Poshmark site it’s so hard to get detail in photos even in natural light because of the saturation. The technique of adding the white outlines is a good idea, no matter the process.
Charley, a really cool affect after you add the white stroke (near the end of your video), back in the day I learned as a screen printer (1982 to present), we love the white glow affect, can you show the folks how to do that it used to be feather to get a glow affect on the white outline (versus a hard edge, more of a fade affect. I Started in 1982 screen printing and feel in love with it, hope it helps and gives some visual inspiration :) Great work Charley, keep rockin'

You don’t have to group it but you can.

HOW DO YOU COLOR THE 2ND ART BOARD BLACK, while keeping artboard 1 white? When I color one, the other artboard is changing to that color too.

I was just wondering if it was possible to change the threshold from black to a different color and how
How would you get rid of all the random white dots? If you were to try to print this out on heat transfer vinyl for a shirt.
