Like, the entire point of The Confederacy was literally "We DO NOT wish to be part of the United States of America anymore. We DO NOT want to be bound by the US Constitution or the US Declaration of Independence or any State or Federal Law enacted in the US." They went to literal war in order to reject being an American. The Confederate Flag should at all times since at least the year 1900 explicitly represent a negative percentage of Americans.
Fun archeology fact: when an archeologist says a skeleton is man or woman, 1) it's a guess, 2) the guess is nearly always based on what's found near/on the body using information we gleamed elsewhere of the culture at the time Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
I believe another way to guess is to examine the pelvic girdle to ascertain the likelihood that they gave birth at some point. I did a paper on forensic anthropology in college. Learned some fascinating stuff. And of course, examining the pelvic girdle is in no way a bulletproof method.
Archeologists in 5000 years: 20th and 21st century people had were beginning to understand the true nature of gender, and had basic abilities to modify their primary and secondary sex characteristics, so telling which gender someone was socially categorised as based only on their remains (without corresponding social media records) is even less reliable than for previous centuries.

That’s the thing that really drives me nuts. Even if you think that climate change is bullshit, pollution is still obviously bad for people’s health, and we’re going to run out of fossil fuels at some point and if we want to keep our civilization running somewhat smoothly we’ll need to adapt our infrastructure to a new energy source, and it would be smartest to do it sooner instead of waiting until we run out of fossil fuels and then having to scramble or risk going back to the 1600s technology wise.

0:48 that's actually an early version of the LGBTQ Rainbow Flag, fun fact! The original flag as designed by Gilbert Baker in 1978 had 8 stripes - pink, red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, indigo, violet - but due to it being hard to get pink fabric, a lot of early pride flags simply left the pink stripe out and had 7 stripes. The famous 6 color version which replaced the turquoise with blue was designed in 1979.
Nice! Thanks- I think my uncle has that version hanging above his mantle, though I hadn't thought about why it looked a bit different until I saw this. Cheers, and thanks for the info.

I recently did a class speech about how there should be a National ban on conversion therapy, in a class where I am the only trans person a 1-of-3 queer people. I got so many questions that our teacher had to pause the Q&A so the other kid could give their speech. It only hit me a few hours later that only two questions were actually about conversion therapy, and the rest questioned gay/trans rights. It shook me to the core to realize that the people who reassured me they had no problem with LGBT+ people cared more about imagined harm FROM queer people than actual harm TO queer people.
I think the Adoption Center one is less about not accepting your own child as trans, and moreso about the fact that several states are trying to classify affirming your child's identity as child abuse, and therefore having them removed from the home and into foster care. Eh… most nations with more progressive taxing policies spread it out more than that. It's the brain's response to childhood trauma, and something only seen in those with childhood trauma. This is often seen in people with DID or OSDD but is also seen in those without those conditions. This is obviously not what the person was trying to say I just wanted to make clear that not everyone who says they are younger than their body is a transphobe (I'm trans I'm not just saying that)
I was also gonna say that it felt really close to the time where queerphobic trolls tried pushing the idea that there are younger to date children. It all started on 4Chan, if I'm not mistaken. A lot of queerphobes did use it as a "Gotcha" moment to make out the entire community as predators.

4:19 People who digest misinformation talking about ‘the truth’. Just had an argument over this. Supporting bigotry is not ‘the truth’. I will never understand this.
The bones argument is always so wild to me. Like yeah, they do try and determine the assigned sex of the bones, but they also use clues in the burial to determine things about the culture. Like if an archaeologist found a skeleton that was determined to be female assigned, but had typically male burial markers, THAT WOULD BE NOTED ON. And also their adamant refusal to realize that no one is arguing their dna, and that if their business is just someone socially, then their social expression is the only thing that matters... its not hard.
Yeah. On the other hand it's a bit funny that poor antropologists don't dare to call a typicaly male or female skeleton surrounded by typicaly male or female signs as "a man" or "a woman." The fashion of nowdays is something like: "This person probably identified as male/female...." or "This person probably played stereotypically male/female role in the society." There are circumstances where such a politicaly correct language is justified, but it's a bit funny when it is used about a typically male skeleton found on a Napoleonic war battlefield with remains of military equipment and a battle injury.
And that has happened some times! I forget the details but they've found a female skeleton with weapons like a warrior in a culture where that was seemingly a men-only role. And I think they've found feminine jewelry buried with male skeletons. And their response (nowadays) isn't just transphobia! It's "Wow that's INTERESTING!"
@@Rolan7196 What's wrong with the "That's interesting!" response? It is interesting, yet if it is a solitary find, you cannot draw general conslusion from it. For example I remember reading an artikle about a group of monkeys lead by a dominant female behaving in a typicaly male fashion. Those monkeys are usually lead by a dominant male, so this observation was interesting. But unless there are more such cases observed, it's all that it will be. An interesting anomaly.
@@Eltanin25 Oh sorry, my tone wasn't conveyed. "It's interesting!" is totally fine! I was trying to say that modern archeology is a lot less bigoted than it used to be, and they're willing to consider that ancient people were trans or homosexual. Sorry for being unclear!
@@Rolan7196 DNA is also quite a gamechanger (especially the possibility to extract it from a tooth root, I think). A skeleton itself (more so if only partial) doesn't need to be a sure indicator of sex. So some "suspected women" may be confirmed only by the use of DNA. Also, a scientist should always doubt every new find and try to find alternative explanations before changing an existing theory - it's not bigotry. But they should also be ready to change the theory if the facts support it. It's a very delicate balance. And of course in reality there are limitation of practical application of these principles, as some prejudices may be hard to overcome and need more time.

I have seen multiple occasions where people complain about even just a little bit more inclusive options in a character creator (e.g. palworld not calling its body types male and female) and it is just crazy to me why someone would complain about having extra options. I am so happy whenever there is an extra option for the body type and when the body type does not come attached to a gender

I brought up how some cis male athletes like Usain Bolt have a biological advantage and are incredibly great at their sport but, no one looks at them and says they need genetic testing and there must be something there that needs to be persecuted. It seems (to me at least) that if a woman is better at her sport because of her biology it must mean she's secretly a man, but if a man is then he's just an incredible athlete. 2:11 I love it when I recognize the Catholic Church's anime girl mascot, But all of the official stuff I've seen, yes this is official, she cares a walking stick and not a sword
4:57 im a DID system. I have many headmates who are mentally older and younger. However, we are always, always 18 (as of writing this). We have a "Dad" guy whose somewhere around 40 mentally. But, hes always 18. The only time that his headspace age comes into play is if he wants to joke around with some of our close friends about being an "elderly old man about to crumble into dust." Otherwise, hes 18, and always will be. Accepting that we can be other ages can lead to us, or others, getting hurt. If a little were to front and play with other younger kids, they are fundamentally different. They have a more developed brain than children. And its also not safe for children to learn that thats ok behavior for an adult.
We have Littles. If they did something wrong, we understand, as a system, that we would be charged as an adult, with the understanding that if the body did it, it applies to all of us. Hence we do our best to avoid well...everything. the meat sack is the age it is, even if some folks in our head were dormant (unconscious) for decades. They get to cope with the body being the age it is. Because the body ages.
If your little plays with kids the same way as a young-at-heart but responsible adult would play with them, that shouldn't be a problem. But I can see this being a very difficult path to tread. Your littles need to experience a wholesome childhood, but without endangering others.
@tealkerberus748 yes! We let our littles have a childhood when we can! Usually that is either in headspace or with friends who we trust a lot. Since we're still quite young, and pretty much the youngest adult at any meet up family + friends gathering we go to we always chill at the kids table and kinda take on the role of babysitter. And sometimes a little will join us. A lot of us have a very strong parental drive (the guys who enforce/uphold a lot of our 'rules' are literally called the Dad's BCS they are just that fatherly) so our littles are very well taken care of in headspace too 😅
Im cis straight and an ally. I'm so sorry for all the harm and horrendous stuff you have to put up with. It's never okay to treat others in a bigoted way. You are a unique, special and wonderful human being. Keep up the good work in educating and advocating.
18:18 fun fact: The word "mankind" actually just means "humankind". "Man" (or rather it's Old English version, "mann") used to just be a gender neutral word for human. The old word for the current meaning was "wer" (still exists to this day in the word "werewolf", which literally means "manwolf"). Btw, the word "woman" comes from "wīfmann", which consists of the words "wīf" (which means "woman", "female" and "wife", and still exists today as the word "wife") and "mann". It literally means "woman person".
@goodboi6329 it'd be "wīfwulf" (if Wiktionary is to be trusted), but fun fact: Wīfwulf would be a masculine noun (English used to have grammatical gender). That's because wulf is masculine and in compound nouns the last part of it determines the gender (that's also still the case in German lol). Though, if the gender was taken from wīf, then it would still not be a feminine noun, because wīf is neuter (also, wīfmann is a masculine noun lmao). Edit: alternatively, you could just avoid all of this by just saying "wīfwylfen", which would be feminine (wylfen means "female wolf").
0:36 one thing i gotta point out is that 60% of Americans are non-Hispanic white. Only about 30% of Americans are from the south. They were saying the confederate flag represents white people, not “southern heritage”… That meme has like every possible form of bigotry
8:47 This could also be interpreted as an accidental ally. “God chose..my gender”. It could mean what they meant, or it could mean that God made a trans man a man.
Yep. I didn't choose my gender, I just picked the best label for it. Just like I didn't pick my eye or hair color, and picked the best color names to describe it.
0:55 i'm seeing some people mistake this for gilbert baker's original flag, but the pink stripe should be on the top in that case, and there should also be a blue stripe between green and indigo. the stripes from top to bottom would be pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for magic, indigo for serenity, and purple for spirit. he also made an amendment to the flag in 2017, adding a lavender stripe above the pink stripe to represent diversity.
Interesting! I wonder if it is a flag from either when a rainbow flag was used by the peace movement, or when it was used for Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition? I'm not sure if the stripes of those had different orders.
That bisexual bit hit me hard... I'm in a hetero passing marriage, ok, but it doesn't make me any less bisexual. Luckily I have friends on the same boat and I'm not alone in this. Sometimes biphobia is unhinged, even from other lgbtqa+ peers 😵💫
1:14 I just looked it up and the confederacy was 1/3 of the US at the time in terms of population. People who are queer in someway make up roughly 7% of the population.
Yep! Also, of that roughly 1/3... Did the Confederate battle /standard flag represent the millions of slaves in that fraction? (Even if they only counted for three fifths of a person, according to the constitution.) ...And the US flag in the meme that represents 100%... It has only 48 stars!
I looked up some population statistics and the state of Wyoming only makes up less than 0.2% of Americans, so if we're going by flags that are "least representative", we should ban the Wyoming flag
And 7% is still just the low estimate. The high estimate varies by generation, but I think it's much closer to accurate. People don't always feel comfortable identifying as queer on a poll, and people might not yet know that about themselves either. Go back 10 years and I wouldn't have known, let alone said so on a poll.
And that 7% is heavily influenced by generational factors, particularly exposure to homophobic laws when young, as well as the loss of gay men during the AIDS era. One study of young adults, the people least affected by all that, found 25% identified as queer.
Fun fact: The person who made the comic at 27:48 later made a statement that they're nonbinary and completely disavow what it says now. It seems like they were going through a rough patch of internalized homophobia but they're doing a lot better now!
alright but is it just me or is the Pink Army dude at 11:05 not absolutely killing it with that makeup? also the military already quit using that version of digital camo a while back iirc
Yeah - also, the hunting stores around here carry a lot of pink camo - not for soldiers, but for women who want camo for hunting in. Deer are colorblind, so pink camo works as well as green camo. (I think the whole 'pink is for girls' thing silly, though. Back in the Victorian era, they thought pink was appropriate for baby boys, since red was for boys and pink was just 'pastel red'.).
14:13 ugh, the response of white lives matter is such a bad one… if someone said in response “all lives matter” then that might be an honest thing that you can help explain why that’s wrong to say here. But white lives matter? I’m basically hearing “only white people matter” which is horrific-🎹Mari
The archeology "justification" bothers me because archeology is steering away from the already dodgy "bone structure" identification and are moving more into cultural indicators like burial clothes and items! Many cultures acknowledge genders outside of "male and female", and we can identify that now because we have learned! We know more! The intent of human life is to PROGRESS. I really don't understand why some people are so against knowledge and learning and progressing our understanding of other people. Blows my mind.
The funny thing is that there's also always been (if a culture does gendered burial) women buried with "masculine" grave goods like swords and men buried in "feminine" clothing... So there's always been trans people and in most ancient cultures it never seems like it was ever taboo for one to take on the role normally assigned the opposite sex. We invented transphobia recently, not trans people.
I'm a straight cis man, I love naps, I don't think I'd survive without them, I have gay/lesbian/bi/trans friends, they also like naps. If somebody hates naps I automatically distrust them.
The whole pride flag "represents 1% of Americans" being the reason it should be banned is actually ridiculous (Not only because that's not what it's about). It's basically just saying "Let's ban minorities" which is totally saying the quiet part out loud.
"it's gay for men to take a nap" well my husband has extreme fatigue from his LEUKEMIA but that's okay i'll just tell him to stop being so gay about it and that will fix everything
19:94 I saw this in the thumbnail and knew exactly what it was because oh my God the amount of "fans" who are upset at dragon age for including queerness (when it was literally written by a gay man and included queer characters) is insane.

There's a prominent trans character in dragon age: Inquisition, a game that notably has more lgbt main characters than straight main characters. Inquisition was released 10 years ago. Also, literally every game in the franchise has included overtly LGBT characters. The people who are complaining about veilguard being inclusive were never fans of the franchise to begin with.
I just had a bad day at school today, and this really gave me comfort! A person I thought was my friend started talking to me during band about being in the hospital for 5 hours for who knows what, so I commented that at least it was only 5 hours and people have been in there for days and used your bottom surgery experience as an example. He said he didn't support trans people, and I said I was a trans guy. He said, "Then at least don’t get a sex change," and I told him I was going to when I could so I could be happier and feel more like myself. He told me he hoped they made it illegal by then, so I said if that happened, I would go to Canada. At the end of the day, my best friend told me that during their class, that same guy told them I was dead to him and referred to me with she her pronouns and deadnamed me. Anyway, this made my day, and please continue doing this stuff. It helps me and other people and means a lot.

The song Ba Ba blacksheep has been around for 200 years (since 1744), but it got banned because of the lyrics surrounding the blacksheep that sort of promoted harmful stereotypes. It got banned in the early 2000s, but apparently it has been making a come back for the last 5 years, thanks to a Nursery rhyme podcast called CoComelon. It made the song trendy by reaching #1 in recent times and apparently there are different versions of it too, as well as a blue sheep being involved as well.
I've never heard of it being banned. How does it promote harmful stereotypes? I mean, there IS the phrase "the black sheep of the family" which refers to someone who doesn't conform to the family's expectations, but that doesn't enter into the song. The song is literally referring to black sheep, whose wool is collected separately, and used locally.
@@viverra i recommend looking on the rhyme's wikipedia page, the rhyme was originally about wool taxation, but gained a reputation around 1986 in Britain for containing potential racial theming.
@@viverraOoooh... if only that term existed then. it would have been a lot simplier. Back in the late 90s early 00s, the PC is hot of the press and became one of the first things that was targeted under racism and slavery because of the colour and selling wool to the Dame and Master. The ban hammer came about the same time when sports was being targeted for lack of trophies...you know, only the winners got one. Anyway that's a different thing. Anyway, it was my favourite song and it was removed...but I must say, if only they knew about the origin of the other nursery rhymes and it's meanings, oh well...but anyway, I am so glad that the song is back thanks to a different meaning. I wonder how long this will last.
In what world does the Confederate flag represent 60% of Americans????
Well apparently 48% of Americans are registered republican, so pretty sure that's theirs.
it was made by a time traveller who forgot they'd left the civil war era
Like, the entire point of The Confederacy was literally "We DO NOT wish to be part of the United States of America anymore. We DO NOT want to be bound by the US Constitution or the US Declaration of Independence or any State or Federal Law enacted in the US." They went to literal war in order to reject being an American.
The Confederate Flag should at all times since at least the year 1900 explicitly represent a negative percentage of Americans.
I think they're not even trying to pretend not to be racist and are referring to ~60% of the US population being white 😬
Guess they are referring to maga.... But that's more like 40% and they aren't favorable for those of us with brains and morals
Fun archeology fact: when an archeologist says a skeleton is man or woman, 1) it's a guess, 2) the guess is nearly always based on what's found near/on the body using information we gleamed elsewhere of the culture at the time

Queer people having rights is in fact the only way straight people can actually have rights - otherwise all it takes to be allowed to violate a straight person's rights is to assert that they're queer.
16:49 They really see bisexuals as "Schrödinger's gays": Both gay and straight until a new partner collapses the wave function,
That be non-binary people and having to oscillate existence in the three dimensions is annoying- this reality is inefficient and unoptimised and the dolphins are being twats again
Heh... I've never heard that before! As disgusting as such opinions and beliefs are, using Schrodinger's cat, as a way to describe such, is pretty clever and amusing. And accurate.
Cheers!
Mrs. Jammi parade herself as having compassion and always demands it yet she supports abortion up to the time of birth as do all woke lunatics ... they have no trouble seeing a chlid sliced up and tossed in a trash can. Phalloplasty is a complex surgery that involves constructing or reconstructing a penis using other skin parts, according to John Hopkins Medicine, while in vaginoplasties, "tissue in the genital area is rearranged to create a vaginal canal (or opening) and vulva."
"Phalloplasties carry uncertain long-term health risks; these may include fistulas, chronic infection, the need for a colostomy, atrophy, and complete loss of sensation, sexual or otherwise," Havrilla said.
As a gay homoflexible ex-Physicist, I can confirm that this analogy is both valid and accurate.
For some reason I was so sleep deprived I typed Shording Cat into Google to define the Schrodinger's Cat theorem
4:04 They see "raise taxes" and conveniently ignore the next part that says "on the rich".
The pervasive narrative in those circles is that it will be on everyone. My mother, who literally owned nothing, was panicked that I would have to “pay a death tax” when Obama was elected. It’s not an honest discussion, and it hasn’t been for a very long time.
Eh… most nations with more progressive taxing policies spread it out more than that. Remember the more public funding you have the more they are able to reduce wealth inequality and that means there isn’t enough uber rick people to tax and that means taxing the middle class to make up the difference. TLDR if you want those more progressive social programs you have to end up taxing the middle class, it is inevitable.
@@gamingwhilebroken2355TBH I wouldn’t paying those taxes if I knew they were going towards things I actually want in my life, like schools, and hospitals, and roads, and a public transportation system that actually works and doesn’t suck ass… you get the idea.

4:50 I want to make something clear here that Jamie didn't mention but I think is still important. You can't be trans age, you can't, but age regression and age sliding is a thing. It's the brain's response to childhood trauma, and something only seen in those with childhood trauma. This is often seen in people with DID or OSDD but is also seen in those without those conditions. This is obviously not what the person was trying to say I just wanted to make clear that not everyone who says they are younger than their body is a transphobe (I'm trans I'm not just saying that)
Thank you for the education!
This comment
I was also gonna say that it felt really close to the time where queerphobic trolls tried pushing the idea that there are younger to date children.
It all started on 4Chan, if I'm not mistaken.
A lot of queerphobes did use it as a "Gotcha" moment to make out the entire community as predators.
So exactly WHEN did the gays ever use the term "sexy kids"?
I remember when straight people BASICALLY that said that by sexualizing teens in MULTIPLE Nickelodeon shows from the early 2010s (specifically talking about Victorious mostly).
called making up shit that never happened as excuse for being hateful
Yeah my grandpa is homophobic and he sees a teen girl and tv and is like oooh look at her titties (he’s weird)

Yup of all ages and backgrounds too, they like to pretend it's just young people 😂

"Person" isn't gender neutral enough for the phobes?
It isn't gender neutral. When someone says person it's usually assumed that the person has a gender it's just not specified. Specifying they are gender neutral is necessary.
Apparently TERFs especially don’t like being called people for some reason. Do they think women aren’t people when we say “healthcare rights for pregnant people” or “people able to get pregnant”? It’s downright bizarre.
@@LyingSpigot I think you may be confusing "gender neutral" with "non-binary"
@@LyingSpigot how is "person" not gender neutral when literally every single human is a person?
@@LyingSpigotyeah, that's kind of what "gender neutral" means. It's the lack of gender being specified. A "person" could be anyone. A man, a woman or anyone who identifies with neither of those words. That's what the phrase you're using means.
The confederate flag represents Texas separating from the country over the issue of slavery.
Last I checked, 60% of America did not support slavery.
Yeah, I am baffled that Confederate apologists still insist that the civil war was about state's rights.
...Though, on some level, it was! It was about preserving state's rights to allow race based chattel slavery!
The implication in the meme is that the Confederate battle flag/standard represents the 60% of Americans that are WHITE.
well since 60% of americans support trump, could have definitely fooled me.
Not just Texas lmao? Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. Not that I disagree with your point that 60% of Americans didn't support slavery but odd to call out only Texas lol
@AFDean yeah... Why just Texas, eh? SO- that '60%' bit is a dog whistle- the 60% they refer to are the 60% of the USA that are WHITE. (for now, anyway!)
It's just another coded reference to the sick 'great replacement' racist trope, which stipulates that one must be an Anglo-Saxon protestant christian (male) to be a 'real' American. (BTW: That kind of crap conveniently never seems to mention indigenous Americans/ first nations, and slaves and their descendants eh?)
Cheers? ...Keep up the (intellectually honest non-violent) resistance to the bigoted, atavistic, hateful, ignorant forces of outdated old-and-evil ignorant hate; Despite recent setbacks, the inevitable progress history is on our side, my friend!
Yeah. On the other hand it's a bit funny that poor antropologists don't dare to call a typicaly male or female skeleton surrounded by typicaly male or female signs as "a man" or "a woman." The fashion of nowdays is something like: "This person probably identified as male/female...." or "This person probably played stereotypically male/female role in the society."
There are circumstances where such a politicaly correct language is justified, but it's a bit funny when it is used about a typically male skeleton found on a Napoleonic war battlefield with remains of military equipment and a battle injury.
In fact, there were a total of ZERO bathrooms on the Lunar Lander. The "toilet" was sealable bags.
I seriously hope there were no loose sharp sewing needles floating around where those bags were kept. It would be hell to clean up
@@haylene7521 NASA doesn't even let pencils in space due to the sharpening. Nothing was loose at all.
Edit: In addition, you need opposite forces to pop it. a loose object can't really pop anything in space unless the thing being popped cannot move, unless the sharp object is going at VERY high speeds, in which case you have more important things to worry about then the toilet bag popping. Like not getting impailed.
In the one where they're making fun of the character editor in games, they also show being able to select neopronouns. Which reminds me that I've played some games that let me put in my preferred neopronouns and i was genuinely so happy I cried, because no one irl actually ever bothers to use them. So the ability to be seen as I truly am, even if just in a game, made me incredibly happy
this is the reason that should be an option - people that don't care don't care, people like you feel seen and happy, and people who get unreasonably butthurt over "FUCKIN PRO-NOUNS" are fun to laugh at.
More (neo)pronoun options in games!!!
ooh what are your pronouns
The Sims also lets you give your sims custom pronouns (although I think you can only have one set per sim, so something like she/they isn't possible).
May I have your pronouns?
I have seen multiple occasions where people complain about even just a little bit more inclusive options in a character creator (e.g. palworld not calling its body types male and female) and it is just crazy to me why someone would complain about having extra options. I am so happy whenever there is an extra option for the body type and when the body type does not come attached to a gender
An occurrence I find pretty often in these "memes" is a sense of self-martyrdom. They say "me when blank is illegal," and never if.

Everyday I feel like I’m a bad parent but then I see things like this shared by parents who don’t support their kids. I feel a tiny bit better that while I’m not a perfect parent, I’m always trying to be a supportive one. Then I feel sad for the kids who don’t have supportive parents. It’s a roller coaster of emotions.
I really appreciate your condolences and I am more hopeful for the future knowing that you are helping to make a difference. Thank you ❤
If it helps, bad parents don't ever think they are bad parents, well unless they are trying to guilt trip their kids into saying they are the best parents to stroke their ego. My spawn points who treated me like a disobedient puppet think they are amazing parents and that the biggest mistakes they made were things like picking me up 10 minutes late from sports and clubs. But leaving me with untreated pinkeye for two weeks, sending me to school against surgeons orders, etc apparently weren't mistakes.
@ I’m so sorry about your spawn points, that’s horrible! I just don’t understand how people can do that. How they can’t look at it as themselves, like, do you want pink eye? No? Then your kid doesn’t either, like act accordingly!
@@shantellerobb5896 they just flat out refused to believe I had pinkeye because I also had strep, and apparently it is impossible to have two short term illnesses at the same time. Yeah, no, I just couldn't fall asleep because my eyelids felt like sandpaper (if you've ever accidentally sanded yourself with 20 grit sandpaper it felt something like that). A letter had even been sent home from school to check your kids eyes because by this point like a third of my grade had it. But no, I definitely did not have pinkeye. Eventually I went to the school nurse (who was an absolutely horrible person who thought kids faked illnesses and injuries to get sent home no matter how obvious it was, like she tried to just give a classmate a band-aid and send him back to class, and he ended up getting like 7 stitches) who took one look at my eyes, called my egg donor for pick-up, and chewed her out when she got to the school. And told her she had 24 hours to send in proof I'd been seen by a doctor or she was reporting them to CPS. The whole ride home I was yelled at, the whole time at home until my appointment I was yelled at, at my appointment she lied to the doc about how long it had been (it was two weeks, she said two days) and glowered at me the whole time while I was diagnosed with "the worst case of pinkeye I've ever seen" by a pediatrician with at least 20 years experience, the whole ride to the pharmacy I was yelled at that there was nothing wrong with me and I was just pretending to embarrass her...... You get the picture.
And now flash forward like 15 years and they deny this happened claiming I never had pinkeye. They just don't care, they want a shiny trophy to show off, not a constantly sick chronically ill trans atheist.

7:12 If trans women really did have an advantage, then wouldn’t trans men have a disadvantage, following that logic?
Absolutely, but you'll notice no one gives a flying f about trans men in sports because in this specific instance it's more about controlling and "protecting" women than hating on trans men. This and trans men in bathrooms, which also no one cares about, apparently. I'm glad they don't, but the hypocrisy and chauvinism is unreal.
Yes they have, but trans guys don't really seem to be upset about that..Maybe i'm wrong, they could fight against it if they want to. But if they're chilling, who am i to judge?
I'm surprised they didn't say Trans MEN were the one with the advantage, the usual medication for those that take it is literally testosterone, which is a steroid (not the same as the kind people take to get swole really really fast, although it does increase muscle mass to some extent)
Like literally, they could make a slightly more convincing (albeit still false) argument with that but no, trans women are clearly the cheaters here

This stopped him in his tracks because he had never thought about it that way and was just listening to the rhetoric of other transphobic people.

Yeah...of course that makes sense.
Puberty is not a disorder and therefore should not be arrested as though it is a disease. Puberty-blocking hormones induce a state of disease - the absence of puberty. Puberty blocking hormones (gonadotropin releasing hormone agonists or GnRH agonists) arrest bone growth, decrease bone density, prevent the sex-steroid dependent organization and maturation of the adolescent brain, and inhibit fertility by preventing the development of gonadal tissue and mature gametes for the duration of treatment.

Wīfwolf
@goodboi6329 it'd be "wīfwulf" (if Wiktionary is to be trusted), but fun fact:
Wīfwulf would be a masculine noun (English used to have grammatical gender).

8:47 This could also be interpreted as an accidental ally. “God chose..my gender”. It could mean what they meant, or it could mean that God made a trans man a man.
Yep. I didn't choose my gender, I just picked the best label for it. Just like I didn't pick my eye or hair color, and picked the best color names to describe it.
right?! God chose my gender. My mortal body decided it wanted to look like *this*
0:55 i'm seeing some people mistake this for gilbert baker's original flag, but the pink stripe should be on the top in that case, and there should also be a blue stripe between green and indigo. the stripes from top to bottom would be pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for magic, indigo for serenity, and purple for spirit. he also made an amendment to the flag in 2017, adding a lavender stripe above the pink stripe to represent diversity.
Also dont forget about the time when men banned women from shooting competitions because they couldnt beat them.
(Even if they only counted for three fifths of a person, according to the constitution.)
...And the US flag in the meme that represents 100%... It has only 48 stars!
I looked up some population statistics and the state of Wyoming only makes up less than 0.2% of Americans, so if we're going by flags that are "least representative", we should ban the Wyoming flag
7%? I thought it was 3%?.
6:02 “Just to piss off the ‘phobes” is a banger line, I’m implementing ‘phobes into my permanent vocabulary
Fun fact: The person who made the comic at 27:48 later made a statement that they're nonbinary and completely disavow what it says now. It seems like they were going through a rough patch of internalized homophobia but they're doing a lot better now!
3:00 i love how the whole poster is just this persons subjective views, but they present it as objective facts. Crazy.
alright but is it just me or is the Pink Army dude at 11:05 not absolutely killing it with that makeup? also the military already quit using that version of digital camo a while back iirc
I’m Christian and I don’t think being gay or trans is bad it is just being you
And you are going to be blessed for being respectful
The Bible disagrees.
I'm an apatheist, but come on, even I know what the Bible says about gay relationships being "an abomination"
@@De_Selbyyeah but also shellfish and cotton/poly blends
@@De_Selby it's wrongly translated, it means to not sleep with young boys rather than grown men.
@@De_Selby But it doesn't say so about being homosexual. Only about living in that way.
I miss the transvestigators already. Of the homophobes they are by far the funniest and most entertaining, "yer neck looks gay" or something
2:04 That is none other than the new mascot of the catholic church, Luce.
The whole pride flag "represents 1% of Americans" being the reason it should be banned is actually ridiculous (Not only because that's not what it's about). It's basically just saying "Let's ban minorities" which is totally saying the quiet part out loud.
Taking naps is gay?
Wow,does that mean that most of my country is? Because taking a nap after lunch is a custom in my country!
"it's gay for men to take a nap" well my husband has extreme fatigue from his LEUKEMIA but that's okay i'll just tell him to stop being so gay about it and that will fix everything
Guess they want men to be "woke" after all 😂
Caught this one before a minute of upload hell yeah!
Flashback to when I played sims for the for first time, I made my sim date a woman (I still thought I was straight)
Yeah me marrying Sebastian in Stardew Valley when I was still convinced I was straight...
I wonder how many other people have had the same experience?
19:94 I saw this in the thumbnail and knew exactly what it was because oh my God the amount of "fans" who are upset at dragon age for including queerness (when it was literally written by a gay man and included queer characters) is insane.
Hello fellow Astarion enjoyer! It's funny too because these same people threw tantrums when Bauldurs Gate 3 for being on the "woke" game list claiming it isn't woke even when everyone is super gay.
I don’t get it. I am Catholic and we learn that God gave us free will, to be responsible for our OWN BEHAVIOUR, and don’t judge others.
And God will bless you for being a respectful human being when there are so many who use his word as an excuse to be judgemental

Exactly, Jesus dined with the sinners. One of his most famous followers was a sex worker.

Hello! I don't really comment, but I really like your videos. I find you really funny.
19:52 ah yes the veilguard hate. Even a fantasy setting has physical scars, and trans characters in canon. The hate over trans inclusivity in the game is dumb.
right like do they not know there was a trans man in the last game back in 2014 fucking tourists (also what do they have against vitiligo)
Internet [cis] Uncle-Gay🏳🌈 here, to tell you: You are Valid, nephew!
You can see Mrs. Jammidodger’s crazy eyes. She is always angry and trashing those who do not celebrate her choices to mutilate her body to pretend to be a man. Great to see all the push back on this ideology that is harming minors. Gender-affirming care' is based on the dangerous premise that any child who has distress that he or she thinks is related to their sex should automatically be treated with social transition to the sex of their choice followed by hormonal interventions and then possibly surgery to remove healthy body parts," it says. "Underlying mental health problems are usually not addressed.
More pseudoscience from the trans bullies. This agenda is littered with ABUSE. Pediatric clinics across the globe have noted exponentially higher rates of preexisting mental health and neurodevelopmental diagnoses among young people requesting gender identity services. Yet it was found that for parents who knew the content of their child’s evaluation, 71.6% reported that the clinician did not explore issues of mental health, previous trauma, or any alternative causes of gender dysphoria before proceeding and 70.0% report that the clinician did not request any medical records before proceeding.

Did it get banned? Did I accidentally break a law as a child? XD
@@viverra i recommend looking on the rhyme's wikipedia page, the rhyme was originally about wool taxation, but gained a reputation around 1986 in Britain for containing potential racial theming.
@@Roadent1241 no idea, but we all sung it back in the day anyway
