this was not helpful at all
Kodiak you are just really slow in your brain lol
This car seat is the biggest pain in the ass I’ve ever purchased
Dear lord! I have struggled with the dang latch tightening on all my seats for the last 10 months until I realized you are able to pull the tightening belt up THROUGH the seat to get the leverage! Thank you for visually showing this!! No more fighting the seats (literally just removed and reinstalled my seat to test this haha). Why isn't THIS in the parenting classes 😅
Thank you!!! I was struggling.
Oh lol o m
This was just the trick that i needed! They should include this in the instruction manual!
I wish someone would’ve told me but your fooled by how nice the car seat looks and the name “safety 1st”. This car seat is a complete waste of money and is the very opposite of safety. It doesn’t matter how you secure it whether it’s with anchors or the vehicle belt…. It will continue to be loose and unsafe. Unless you have the hulk there to tighten the straps, it won’t tighten. Safety 1st, imagine all the parents that don’t realize a car seat isn’t suppose to be lose, think of all the babies your difficult securing method puts at risk.
My wife and I just wrestled with 2 GRACO Safety 1st car seats trying to install them in our SUV for our grandchildren. WORST DESIGNED SEATS EVER!
They make you insert adult size hands into a mysterious chamber that is sized for child sized hands.....and, sharp plastic and seat cushion platforms do a great job pinching and slicing away at your hands as you try and figure out how to thread the belts through this Hudini proof seat.
HUGE FAIL, Graco! Fire whoever designed these seats immediately.....and by the way, once installed, they slide all over the place and tip to the side no matter how hard you yank on the straps to remove slack.
Never been so pissed in my life at a product that should be designed for quick, easy, and safe installation...these seats are none of those!
I hate this car seat more than anything. Impossible to tighten. I've never left a UA-cam comment in my life but this car seat
warrants one.
Thank God, I thought it was just me. This video is terrible I still can’t figure out the damn latches.
This is stupid complicated. Buy others if you have the options
Agreed. This is the worst car seat I’ve ever purchased lol
If you got a low IQ, just say so.
@@VeggieSoup43 if you like wasting your time talking shit on youtube, just say so.
@@kirkperez7947 you remind me of imagine dragon.
@@VeggieSoup43 that's nice.
So I’ve been doing this wrong this whole time thanks to my man for having me struggle using the seat belt instead of the anchor belt smh
Where does that teether that hangs down the back go? Or is it literally just the seat belt or those 2 hooks that keep in in place
not sure if you still need to know, but the tether on the back is used as a top tether for forward facing! :)
The most complicated car seat ever.. equally as dumb.👎🏿
Agree! This seat fuckin sucks!
I think next time you guys probably shouldn't use a black interior with a black seat
This is so so helpful! Thank you
This is a super crappy car seat. I do not recommend for anyone!!
How recline back up, because I accidentally recline to level 3 and need to recline to level 2 , so I can put rear facing .
I had the same issue and just figured it out.
There is a handle to pull under the front of the car seat right below the pull STRAP to tighten the harness.
Happy Tuesday!
@@sluggztube thank you
I don’t think this car seat works well with leather seats it’s just moving around no matter how hard I tighten it
I put a beach towel under my carseat to protect the leather and to help with tightening. Then once you have it buckled in with the seatbelt, pull the seatbelt all the way out so that it locks, then tighten it as much as you can by pulling up and toward the back windshield rather than toward you as you're standing in the door. I hope this helps!
Hi there my 17 month old head keeps buckling over when fast asleep in rear seat position. Am I the only one facing this problem… am I not doing something right? Please help
Advice: we were struggling to tighten it once it was attached to the lower latch, but we had luck once we detached one side, tightened it, and then reattached it
Did you tighten the side with the adjusting clip thing first or the one that has just only the latch?
@@ambarduenas1000 with the adjusting clip!
Thank you looking for a quick answer
Finally got it to fit-- my god. I think someone's advise about tightening the side with the adjustment lever first and then hooking the other anchor and applying a final tightening finally did the trick. But that was rough, y'all.
So hard to adjusting the incline position
Could I put a new born in this ??
These seats are garbage!
Very helpful solve my problem
Yo that was confusing af
I have no lower anchors? Only the one in the middle on the back! What do I do?
Yes you should. Look all around the car seat.. I just found mine after having for over a year 😂
They are initially stored inside the seat. You have to slide the seat adjuster to the most reclined position (3) and it opens the compartment.
ty
I bought this carseat for my newborn but now I’m wondering if it’s for bigger kids
I would say definitely for older kids...at least 1 year old depending how big child is. And not rear facing.
This car seat is for rear facing, forward facing and can change into a booster seat, as well. They have inclines for all ages, beginning at 5 lbs.
@@rose4982 can a newborn use this car seat I have it and a 7lb baby but don't know if I can ?
I recently bought this car seat for my 10 month old bc he outgrew his initial car seat I got when he was a newborn
@@cristinaamaya5633 my baby is 20 lbs 6 months old and Im just swiching her over to it from an infant seat. I put her in befre installing it and she fits nice and snug, I bad to loosen the straps and raise the head cusion a bit.
For some reason the belt that goes through the whole isn’t coming out even the left side is tight and secure but not the right side any suggestions?
Having the same issue. Did you figure it out ?
Where do you find the expiration date?
I believe it’s on the left side where it showed the manufacturing date
It’s on the bottom of the car seat.
The video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination
Lightweight and easy to operate. Very convenient.
Complete joke how hard this is.
When I tried doing this I couldn’t figure it from other videos but I will do this tomorrow and see if it works if not I’m doing something wrong🫠
