    I think the ex-husband may be mistaken about his ex-wife’s mental state on the night she disappeared. For a person to openly admit ideations of self-harm while exhibiting increased agitation, anxiety, and secretive behavior for an extended period of time, and then be completely calm and rational as described by the ex-husband, is often an indicator the person is no longer experiencing internal conflict and has made a decision.

    I have a feeling either she walked away and found a way to ditch the car or if what the ex-husband says is true she got into one of her blackout episodes and went someone where not knowing who she was because it has happened in the past. I do agree with others that the ex-husband knows more than what he is saying because I find it hard to believe that if someone you love and care about is going missing for 2 hours or having blackout episodes not knowing where they are you are not just going to take a it's none of your business' responce and drop the issue. Now with that being said we don't know the entire story or what is going on with her mental state.

      I have a question for you, friend. I am curious to know what the natural rate of decomposition is for people who go missing underwater, but I'm afraid of what might show up in my search feed even on Safe Mode (being not one for horror). If a body is found after being submerged in a freshwater river for about a year, what general state would they be in? I ask this specifically because I'm trying to write a fictional story involving such a case, but I want this part to be truthful.

    • @sleepynightowl1550
      @sleepynightowl1550 Рік тому +1

      Under water a body decomposes generally slower than on land. But it largely depends on the water temperature, too. The cooler the water the slower the decomposition process, because it slows bacterial growth. The skin will be discolored green with decomposition and later on gases build up inside the body, increasing its buoyancy and it will resurface if it's not stuck.
      I'm afraid but you'll have to make your own research and look at some pictures if you want to write about it.
      One of the first rules of good writing I ever learned was to only write about what you as author know well.
      Because only then will you be able to draw your readers in with a lively, creative and vivid writing skill.
      So in order for you to write about how such an underwater body would look like, you'll first have to have seen it yourself unfortunately.
      Good luck with your story! @@NatYourAverageNerd

    I can't imagine how that must be for her family. The blackouts concern me. I've often wondered - do you inform law enforcement later on, that you've cleared a bunch of waterways in their area? FYI, in case they might have their own worries in the water?

    • @righthererightnow7043
      @righthererightnow7043 Рік тому +3

      I don't know this for sure, I am just guessing. But I don't think that law enforcement can officially "rule out" certain areas just because a private team of investigators has ruled it out. I am guessing that if they would want to rule it out officially, they would still have to go and check it for themselves.

We are talking about 2014. That was 9 years ago. So there's a chance that that shallow water wasn't even there. Could this have happened?

To me, she left and didn’t want to be found. Hopefully it all worked out for her and it wasn’t a sus situation.

    Bruh every place you ruled out with out checking by sonar is a failed search if you do not find her. She is in that 5 mile area that last guy was found in a canal 5 miles out on the route everyone was talking that he traveled. A canal, her husband eluded to a bridge you need to expand your search past 5 only once every puddle has been checked. I’m not trying to be a dick methodically concentric circular search every puddle. In my back yard I had a pond that was 100 x 20 like a sideway pan it was near 80’ deep old man said it started as a sinkhole in the 40’s after he came back from the war. Florida is full of holes and it hides the dead.

And the money generated through You Tube videos, TikTok, etc. Their searches cost money. Since it is their livelihood, no one could do this without an income.
