- It's time to talk about ejection seats, landing with no engine, and putting this thing through the rest of the aerobatics required for flight test.

I've been flying since I was 16 and at age 19 flew around the world by myself in the same 1981 A36 Beechcraft Bonanza I still fly, becoming the youngest person ever to solo circumnavigate by aircraft.
Now, I'm sharing all kinds of aviation adventures with YOU! Ride along as we explore the world from the air and get a close up look at some of aviation's best flight experiences and destinations.

Nice job! You are living the dream of so many!! 🍻
Great video as always , thank you ❤
Many years ago I was running through the emergency check card with a pilot of a BAe Hawk that had a brake problem. When we got to the last point in the list without resolution, 'consider ejection', he went 'oh'. Matt, be prepared like all good boy scouts.
Feeling proud! Seeing you flying in one of our jets thats being made in our small country.!
Great to see the jet again :)
Fun stuff. Thanks for sharing
Awesome! Really enjoy the L39 content. 🤙
This is super cool! I'm sure to everyone working on the aircraft it may have been a little tense, but from my POV it looks awesome!
Thumbs up 👍 great time with you 😊
since when is L-39 a soviet jet wtf
Exactly, I stopped watching this guy and just got back to it today, I’ll go Darman again, he post more crap and misinformation to get clicks and watches.
Since all Soviet Union was existing! Lol ! As a respect to Chechoslovakiya
@@harryoldman2171 Czechoslovakia was never a part of Soviet Union lmfao
cool aircraft
I saw you leave Gadsden last week headed toward Atlanta area. Fly safe my friend !!
Did you sell the bonanza??? L39 content is amazing but the bonanza needs to be in there, too. Big brother little brother.
I watch your videos to torture myself. 😂
What mount to you use for smartphone knee pad?
A dream to fly on that plane! I flew Fuga Magister which I assume it's same experience
Just faster and roomier ;)
@@mattguthmiller I have a PPL, would love to join you one day 😉
@@GStrauss we fly a few times a week! mattguthmiller.com/L39
Thought we were going to loose you in that 5G pull, lots of short breaths. LOL Nice job!!! --gary
What kind of knee board is that that you have for your cell phone?
What does the guage - extreme right - middle - do? I see a line ticking to the left and sometimes right. Numbers for the needle go from 0 to 8 with a few ticks above it.
G forces?
Fuel in potatoes -- 100s of kgs
is that the KGB following you on taxi? lol
L39 content>>>> all other content
This is the best jet for teenager because that don’t get the stall
Jet jocks.
Where is your soviet yet???? I saw only czechoslovakia yet.
Has anyone ever converted one of these to just run a single Garmin glass cockpit?
How does one go about buying a jet anyways?
So you know the ejection sequence but you don’t know what an annunciator light means… smart.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
what does it cost to put a jet in a shipping container and sent it almost all the way around the world?
Scary, just watching the screw slits on the dash, not aligned, but I guess that must be a German thing, love your post’s though, Matt, keep going and be save !!
Honest question, Did you need a type rating for this thing?😂
You need a type rating on any aircraft weighing more than 12,500 lbs or any jet. You also need to be current and have some extra cash.
take out the papers and the trash
or you won't get no spending cash
if you don't scrub that kitchen floor
you ain't gonna rock and roll no more
yakety yak!
DON'T TALK BACK@@ryanverplank8212
You need a type rating on any jet
))))) junior soviet trainer
There IS a reason they won't give you your formation card Mat. Your attitude really has to change someday. Soon.
Sorry bud, have had a lead card for 3 years now
You gonna break your legs if you eject?
That the shame! Sorry
You’re gonna kill someone with how reckless you are flying that thing. Doing aerobatics not talking to anyone, you are just a disaster waiting to happen.
Pretty sure he had a block carved out in the flight plan. One does not simply do aerobatics.
This is planned. Given the altitude, you would need ATC to preassign a block for you to operate in. Theres a reason why there's an experienced person in the back for most of these vids lol
What's the little red button on the front of the mask do?
"Promo SM" 🙌
Matt -- With all the focus on your new fighter jet(s), we certainly hope you don't end-up throwing rocks at your Bonanza??🪨
