- We filmed at Chinese Restaurant Toto in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. On this day, the temperature in Matsudo was 37 degrees Celsius, and the kitchen, without air conditioning, turned into a scorching hot battlefield. The restaurant is so popular that long lines form during lunchtime, and from the 10 am opening to 3 pm, orders for their famous fried rice and other Chinese dishes keep coming in nonstop. We closely followed the intense lunchtime rush, where the staff kept cooking without a break for five hours.

Thank you for making this video from the workers' perspective. Many customers enjoy the results of their hard work but often don't think about what the cooks and staff have to endure in the process. If Honoko and Jin Jin study half as hard as they work, they will have much success in life. When I visit Chiba Prefecture next year, I will eat at their restaurant.
ジェンジェンが通訳になる夢について、「とんとんで働いていても外国のお客さんも来るし、ある意味、通訳の仕事をしているんですよ。海外展開の夢もあるし、その時も通訳として働けます。」って言ってたんだけど、彼女は自分の中でこの状況にどう折り合いをつけたんだろ。大学卒業とともに、自分の道を歩んだら、この店がどうなってしまうんだろって葛藤があったんでしょうね。本当にええ子や。
飲食店なんてそんな儲からないし、長期的に伸びていかんからさっさと辞めて通訳で世界飛び回る方がいいな。

it's amazing how those cooling jackets has become the norm in Japan. where I can't even order them from my country.
Honoko and Jin Jin (Zhen Zhen) are so hardworking, beautiful, and sweet. Really young, but really professional. They both study AND work hard. I want to eat at their restaurant when I visit Japan.
Why no one cared about the guy in the background?

He was the main guy who worked with the grandfather and when asked if he taught the granddaughter how to cook, he was kind and said, he's enjoyed creating dishes together with her. He's very nice and treated with great respect by the two sweet girls who run the place.
The restaurant now only has Jen Jen!! Ikeda Honoka left the restaurant and is now a model in Korea!!

most i've seen these fan-cooled jackets is on the japanese streets, worn by traffic police officers.
They've been around a while. There are several types. Construction workers use them also
Interesting that some dishes are measured on a scale for precise weight, while a number of stir-fry items are prepared in bulk and eyeballed for portions. I must say the liver with chives & sprouts and the steak on fried rice look very appealing!

I quit modeling in Japan some time ago. Modeling is not an easy life, for your modeling career to happen you have to go to bed with some powerful people if you know what I mean, otherwise nothing will happen and it doesn't matter if you fit the profile, is beautiful or whatever.

石材業で八柱霊園で現場が有る時は良く利用させて貰ってましたが、「女子大生店長」が話題になってから混んでてとても昼休憩で使えるお店ではなくなってしまいました。
ほのかちゃんには東東よりも大事な夢があったのかもしれないけど、なんか釈然としない、、、。けど、ジェンジェンには頑張って通訳になって欲しいな。
何か、店のオーナーである母親との異常と思えるGPS管理・強要・暴言等による確執があったみたいですよ
