Looking at functions and a larger thinner body, like the actual X is expected to have, I’ve decided to give the DT 10 (vwar/dateoy) a chance and it will arrive tomorrow 😊 so if you want I’ll give you an update as to how I like it. I’m currently using the Hello Watch 3+ (2024 edition) and it’s close to perfect. But then again it’s a bit more expensive than the DT10 and it’s an Ultra replica. So yeah , I’ll keep you updated 😊
it’s somewhat of a mixed bag… everything works great and the battery holds up very well… however… there are some things that really bug me coming from the HW 3+ 1. The fact that you have to chose for either the always on display or the raise to wake function 😢 Very annoying to have to push a button first every time you want to do something 2. The crown button feels very flimsy and looks so also 3. Wallpapers are changed by turning the crown button (without needing the long press first) This ofcourse results in hardly ever seeing the wallpaper you initially chose in the morning cause every accidental touch (there’s no wallpaper lock option either) will randomly change your wallpaper 3. The wallpapers are cool (especially the live wallpapers are stunning, however there are very few wallpapers that mimic the original WatchOS by Apple and other than on the HW3+ most shortcuts on the wallpapers are duds and won’t do anything when touched 😢 Compass animation is well… not animated so it’s very obvious it’s a clone by just looking at it. And what was the last blow for me was the fact I couldn’t control the volume of external speakers nor AirPods with the crown button, a feature I use in the HW3+ a lot when I’m driving or in other situations where you want to quickly adjust volume without having to pull your phone out 💁 Sounds and speaker’s quality of the watch are pretty good and I think a wee bit louder than that of The hello Watch, the haptics are weak and have a terrible rattling sound, something the HW3+ doesn’t do thankfully 😊 So all in all it’s a great watch, that looks like the small Watch 10, but the functionality in the Hello Watch is definitely better I gave mine to my daughter and ordered the Hello Watch 3+ 2024 edition for myself, a choice I didn’t regret! It can store up to 20 watchfaces many of them with the correct WatchOS 10 look, options to actually edit the wallpapers similar to the original Apple Watch and is not just looking the part but also has working realtime widgets and shortcuts, and all in all more functionality, not to mention a 1:1 look So for me the HW3+ 2024 is definitely the Ultra King! I also tested the HK 10 ultra Gen 3 , it might have the faster processor and the smoother UI, but: 1. Less functionality 2. Less (free) watch faces and the once it does offer don’t look anything like Apples 3. The bezels are thick AF and it gives away its a clone if you use any other colours watchface except black And last but definitely not least: 4. The HK10 uses an app that is TOTAL RUBBISH it is more often disconnected than its not, it drops connection every five minutes and that annoyed the living daylights out of me! What use is a smartwatch when I have to yank out my phone and open the app to connect again before actually being able to use that smartwatch 🤔🤣🤣🤣 Took me while but hey now you got two comparisons instead of one ;) Cheers ✌️
